It ain't dead by a long shot. There are however alternatives to the daily bar crawl. Pick what works best for you and run with it.

    Virgin AC Trip.

So now is my time and I started my first trip to AC. This is my first Report on this Forum.

Yesterday after Arrival at NAIA Airport I cleared Immigration quick (I don't get any stamp in my passport, is that normal?) and after buying a sim card I jumped on the Airport Shuttle Bus to Shuttle 3, which leaved immediately.

After 15 min I was at gate 3 an waited 30 minutes more for the Departure of the Genesis Bus.

There was no Traffic in Manila (Friday night) and the Driver was driving like there's no tomorrow so 90 Minutes later I was at SM Mall AC.

Took a Trike to the Hotel an unpackaged my Stuff.

I tried to Pick up a Street Massage Girl but there was nothing left. I think it was too late. I also don't wanted to go to Bars and the Techno Music in High Society was too loud for me after a 20 hour trip, so I decided no bum bum first night and went sleeping alone in my Hotel.

DAY 2 I was doing some Money Changing, Hair cut, Cialis, Viagra and things like that.

After walking through the AC Scenery I picked a 21 year old street massage Girl in the evening from near Jeepney Terminal.

Money was not discussed, but I told her I want 2 rounds and she agreed.

She was nice small, small sweet boobies and a firm stomach.

I think it was 1,5 hours and I fucked her 2 times. There was also a bit GFE with cuddling and some pecks. But she was not really into BJ, that's a big minus.

I just put her 1500 p on her Phone and there was no comment to that. I think she was OK with that. She gave an kiss and leaves.

I'm already not adjusted to the Timechange, so that was also already enough for me for day two.

How do you guys work with WeChat? Because what I've seen there are many Ladyboys and not many girls and when I write them I get no Reaction.

I had so big plans with that but it doesn't really look good for me.

If there is a correlation then this would mean you only get robbed if you take jeepneys. Somehow I think that's not true.

    Trip Report

It's been a while since I posted here, but the jet lag from returning to the USA has me up at 1 AM, so here goes.

I visited Angeles for 10-days and tried something completely new. Previous trips over the past 20-years were the typical bar hop we are all familiar with. Those of you that have visited over time have seen the changes from military town to Australian owned bars to the present day Korean influence.

A buddy suggested we try and cast a wider net so we signed up with PinaLove and Date in Asia. Then, a week before the trip we sent out introductory and polite e-mails to about 20 or so girls essentially saying we would be in Angeles soon, would like to meet, and if they had a cellphone number or facebook messenger account we could chat on. We had an approximately 80% response rate, many of which had jobs other than bargirls.

Take note that any talk of sex on dateinasia gets you banned. However, Pinalove has no restrictions.

So, the follow-up question is to politely ask if they are available for short-time for 1500 pesos plus chocolate. Again, the positive response rate was around 80%. Then, you need to have a notebook as you will get pestered to meet up. In the 10-days I was there I was constantly scheduling short-times and trying to space out appointments so I could recover from the last one. I had an old unlocked Samsung smart phone and local SIM card. It was full of texts.

As for the chocolate. I went to Wallmart and got a few variety bags and a box of zip lock bags, I prepared about 20 bags of candy and when I got to the hotel just dumped them in a drawer. The girls loved it and were calling back for repeat sessions. Most give the sweets to their kids.

I advise you to NOT initially meet in your room, but instead meet at Kokomo for a screening appointment, as some post old photos and don't look anything like their picture. To deal with this, I made a series of appointments (12,1, 2, 3 o-clock), then if appointment #1 was a no go, I had a follow on en-route. Once I decided on one I texted to cancel or re-scheduled the others. Also, and this is important. Check their ID. I stayed at Central Park Tower and had the girls register at reception. It worked well as reception called the room when they departed to see if all was OK.

NEVER accept an excuse that they forgot their ID as it could be a set-up for a sting. Tell her to hit the road.

These girls were sort of "occasional escorts" in the sense that they worked at places like the local mall, Jollibies, manicure or laundry places, etc. , and wanted some extra cash, which is why many were on DIA or Pinalove to begin with. The benefit is that generally they are not getting laid every night and don't have the bargirl attitude. Some would stay the night, others a few hours. I usually threw in a meal at the hotel or Phillies, Kokomo, etc.

I did fall off the wagon one night at "Night Moves" on Perimeter Road. Can't remember the name but I will always remember the girl. Not for the sex but because she moaned and screamed so loud she could have auditioned for an exorcist movie. The front desk actually called to ask we tone it down (LOL). If it was an act she deserves an academy award.

Anyway, that's my story. I preferred this method as the bar scene is getting disappointing.

    Happy hunting.

LOL. Made me think of this story in New York a few months back.

A Bronx man who decided to celebrate a $96,000 lawsuit settlement with three prostitutes at a hot-sheets motel lost it all when two gun-toting pals of the hookers burst in and stole the cash windfall, police sources said.

Victim Saul Mata Vellegas — who was carrying the entire sum in a suitcase — checked into the Van Cortlandt Motel on Broadway near West 256th Street in the Bronx around 10 pm Sunday and called for the female company, sources said.

Three hookers came over, had sex with the 30-year-old, then suggested that they have a "friend" stop by with beer and cigarettes, according to sources.

    GE.
Yes. No. Not necessarily. You could as easily have ridden all your rides in jeeps / trykes and never been robbed. My getting pick / pocketed once many years ago is not an example to hold up as jeeps being dangerous; and having been picked once (only) in about the same amount of time that you've been here is a pretty good track record (I think) considering how much I travel, and my nick had nothing to do with jeeps / trykes. Several of the long-time members on this very board are frequent jeep and rail guys, and their instance of trouble is either quite low or non-existent. I'd agree that riding jeeps / trykes is somewhat more dangerous than riding taxi's, but also look what trouble the members here report with taxi drivers dishonesty.

BTW, recently had a Grab driver be dishonest. Upon exiting the Grab-Taxi, the driver pointed to the meter, which showed p69. The bill should be p69 + p10 (booking fee) = p79. Nice of him to point it out. Later the emailed receipt showed meter p120 + p10 booking fee, total p130. I called the driver and he apologized and said he would correct it before his shift ended. He did not, and the next day I emailed Grab about the incident. Grab's initial response later was that sometimes GrabTaxi's fare is higher in congested traffic. Yes, that might be true, but the traffic had been light, and the metered fare of p69 was about right (1. 5 km ride, few minutes in the car). P120 would indicate several miles and longer time in the car, so I wrote back saying that the driver pointed to the p69 metered fare. Grab replied, saying they had contacted the driver, the driver agreed with me, Grab adjusted the fare back to p69, "We take very seriously a driver's misrepresentation of a fare", and Grab had instructed the driver to contact me. He did not.

Another Grab goodie. As we pulled up to my destination in the GrabTaxi, the meter said p75. The driver used his phone app to bump that to p100 (he showed me as he did it). He said: "Your tip to me today sir is 25 only". Oh my. You MUST. BE. KIDDING. Set it back to 75 fella. "But sir all my customer give tip to me". Listen, chubs, one of the reasons I take GrabTaxi's is that the fare goes to my credit card. I give a tip of cash if I'm in the mood. The idea is that as the car rolls up to my destination, I can see the metered fare and walk away from the taxi knowing there will be a small booking fee added on, and its a cash-less and carefree time. Having a driver suggest a tip at the end of a ride is wrong (and possibly against Grab policy).

Good news: You are more likely to be targeted for your whiteness from girls wanting a mixed baby than a street-robber.

You will get robbed if you drink alcohol is one of the most hysterical things I have read on this forum.

Maybe some people walk around looking like victims.

You will not be robbed just because you are sober (in fact, the chances of being robbed while walking down any street, even after dark, are slim). Have been stumbling drunk in Manila, Cebu, province, Mexico, LA, Chicago, Belize, and so forth. Don't recommend it, but did not get nicked.

I routinely ride jeeps and trykes. Sometimes the taxi is the call (manila troppik), sometimes I like to travel down. Never been nicked on the jeep / tryke. However, Sammon is right: You are always more of a target than locals.

Good question. Did that come from a drunk in a bar who heard from a friend that another friend got nicked? OTOH, several gents have written reports of getting nicked (myself included several years back on Fields; made the classic mistake of letting a street lady touch me, did not keep a safe distance from her during her initiated conversation, it could happen to any of us). Sammon has some good advice (respectfully must disagree with some of it).

Good advice. On occasion I see some nimwit pull out a wad of cash to pay his bar or resto tab of sub-1000, and visibly showing is 20 k+ in his hand. Heavy bling is another mistake (its just not needed, leave it in the hotel / condo).

It is very simple. If you are drunk you will be robbed. Even if you are sober and do not pay attention to your surroundings you will be robbed.

    1. Do not get drunk.

    2. Do not carry lots of money, expensive phone, jewellery. Carry only local currency enough for nights entertainment.

    3. Do not trust any girls or guys even if she comes across as friendly.

    4. Be aware of your surroundings. Once I was pickpocketed at Classico in Sosua while dancing. Lost only about 500 pesos.

The money was in the back pocket. Change I got after buying drinks. More money is always in my front pocket.

    5. A girl I was with few times before stole 2000 pesos in Manila because I failed to lock up my money after the night out. I always lock up all the money before I go to sleep unless I am alone. Thought since I was with this girl many times for 3-4 days at a time I could trust her.

    6. Before the girl leaves make sure nothing is missing by your oversight. Most hotels call you when the girl leaves.

    7. Public transportation is safe only for locals. You are a target.

    8. Discos tend to get very crowded. Do use caution.

Stories abound in AC. Especially from drinkers in bars.

No doubt people do get theirs pockets picked. I got my cell phone picked right out of my pocket as I exited a jeepney about 4 months ago.
    To DG,

I been to AC more than 12 time never have my pocket pick I always have my wallet and cell phone in the front pocket, I have heard from people got the pocket pick on a jeepney before and I have got my pocket pick before in Jakarta and China but never in PI.
