Though on the second last of those visits Normas was best, I also got a good rate on one of the pawn shops opposite Phillies and one one of the shops opposite McDonalds / Phillies. Interestingly, a place directly oposite Johnnys had been best a year ago but this time, when I truthfully told them others had better rates, they told me to flk off.

Though Normas is popular with the hired hos, this time vans full of Koreans were pulling up to it, probably getting a good deal with kick backs.

I didn't know that many girls went to Norma's. Norma's has fluctuated at times and has been lower than the others. Normally Norma's is. 2 pesos higher. Money exchange is a tough business. You don't want to get caught holding the wrong currency when it goes up or down.

I can confirm that Camelot has reopened under a different name, which I forgot. I haven't been in there yet, but will report back.

Camelot was open around November and / or January for numerous nights. I believe it was open for both months. It was open yesterday on April 8. I believe it re-opened during 2023 (Wasn't it around January of 2023?). Some bars close on Mondays, some bars close on and off.

But in defense of the Americans, the cost would have been large. Since the girl was under-aged, I'm guessing the bribe would have been huge. Also, the owner simply cannot terminate his permanent staff without cost. His permanent employees will be people like the doorman, bartenders, cashiers, and cooks. Waitresses (who are paid below minimum wage) and bargirls are normally not permanent employees. Permanent employees pay into SSS (the Philippine Social Security).

I heard of a bar owner that had to pay one of his permanent employee 50 K pesos because he fired him incorrectly. But on the other side, an employee cannot quit without notice. He has to give a 4 week notice; if he doesn't, the owner can sue him for economic damage.

Latest pricing quoted in the bars of Angeles are all over the place, one can get a quote from 4,000 peso or 10,000 peso short time one pop or 5-6000 peso for long time.

What is completely evident is that there are very few attractive, young, slim girls available to barfine, why, because they are in such short supply they can earn huge drink commissions from staying in the bar and not fucking with anyone, yes its possible to get laid in Angeles but it sure as hell is not going to be with one of the better looking girls that is in extreme demand for drinks only.

I don't do the bar fine scene and have never had a problem finding great gristle grippers in the Philippines. And some lovely girls in the process.

Naively, on my first visit to Angeles I expected to stroll down Walking Street and get laid within five minutes.

There's some really lovely girls out there and I don't necessarily want a 9/10 looker if she's a lousy root.

My advice to others would be to do your 'work' during the day, subtlety communicating at every chance about your intentions, whether that be via the hotel security guard, the guy at the convenience store etc, They'll find you a decent girl (and obviously get a cut out of it) . To prove the naysayers wrong I visited some K bars last night. First up was Genesis, which had two cuties I was interested in a couple weeks ago, but didn't pull the trigger on. There was a Korean guy handing out pesos to the girls, which I felt would make it difficult for me to barfine, so I moved on. Last night those girls were not there, but there was a different cute girl. She smiled at me and probably her sister, who looked just like her but was fat, even did that thing where she gestures at her for me to take her. But I hesitated because she had a small tattoo on her back.

The big fat mama gave the girls a lecture, and they were very attentive. Key works I heard were "long time," "emergency," "short time. " I asked a waitress to clarify, and it was hard to follow, but it had to do with when girls go home early, Korean customers come back the next day and ask for a refund, while Westerners do not. So the customer will have to sign a piece of paper if the girl wants ST. At least that's what I think she said. The ST price is only 500 less than LT.

I had good experiences in Bunny in the past, despite the annoying, loud "DJ". Unfortunately now the mama always sits with me and I have to give her 100 pesos. A few weeks ago there were some young cuties, but again, some Korean dude was handing them pesos. This time there were only five fugglies. Mamma said they all got barfined early, which is possible. Or else they may have gone home. Who knows.

Viking is nuts. It's a small bar, but the stage is packed to the gills with girls. The layout is bad, so it's hard to see the girls, but I think there are a lot of pretties. However, when I was in AC at Christmas, I am not sure if Camelot was open (or closed). If LIH saw it was closed in February, he is probably correct. Anyone with details of timeline of closing of Camelot feel free to update.
