We all have our perceptions based on our own experiences, but you have to be extra careful in the Fillipines because the girls are best in the world at telling you what you want to hear.

My own opinion is that there is a misalignment in Euro culture which seeks to win (Who do the girls like better? Whites or Asians? Who wins?) vs Island culture (Laid back. Not concerned about these things).

Firstly, I want to segment the population here. This discussion is about bar girls in the Philippines. Not all Filipinas. I think the idea of Filipinas wanting to marry western men and make babies is still 100% true. And this is for a few reasons, IMHO.

1. It is usually a more elder gent who is likely to fall in this trap of finding true love and getting married. For the Filipina, this means the possibility of a perceived better life in a western country, maybe a foreign passport, maybe an inheritance when the geezer kicks the bucket.

2. The offspring produced with a white man's seed is generally more good looking (white) and hence has a better prospect of a privileged future in the Philippines itself. Think Pia Wurtzbach.

3. Western men are still perceived as being more responsible about the child they sire. This may be contrary to the truth. I am sure you have watched Fallen Angels.

4. Most of the Korean men who monger in Philippines are married and would never ever think of leaving their family for a Filipina bar girl. They come for fun, have fun and go back. And blow a lot of money in that process. It is the western man that gets emotionally involved with the Filipina bar girl. For the record, I have never indulged in any of these mindless activities. I go to a bar and scope it out in the first 30-60 seconds.
