Do you think that is a reasonable expectation and what do you think pricing would look like? After all, it's a hotel, meals, entertainment, drinks and probably some light shopping.

In PI it costs more to feed and keep a girl than to fuck her.

It's often been said that aircon and a comfortable bed won't feed the family back home so don't expect a girl to give cut price pussy just to have creature comforts with you.

I paid 10 k per week in the Visayas but search my posts for "Holidaying with a Hooker" for all the on costs.

It's your money but with girls on tap in AC I can't see the reason for keeping one for the whole trip there.

I'm in the RTFF phase of reviewing AC as a new destination, as an alternative to Pattaya (and BKK).

What I've gleaned so far: Food (Thai), English ability (PI), Average raunchiness (Thai), More scam prone (PI), VFM.

My initial feel is at odds with your comment 'there's no place like AC'.

I'm sure I'll run into AC v. Pattaya comparisions as I continue reading, but I sure would like to know your top insights.

A check on airlines safety issues showed Air Philipines is by far the best airliner (much better that Thai Airways and Bangkok Airways), I will choose this option, and if Beeway is a safe bet for taxi I will use it.

As a resident here, I've been flying PAL for years with no safety issues. I actually like the airline, and my problems with air travel here relate to the inadequate airports, especially in Manila, and this is an issue that has nothing to do with any airlines. My advice, for whatever it's worth, is to arrange before your trip for a driver to meet you at the airport. You can do this through the hotel where you will be staying, or, if you like, send me a PM and I'll give you the name and contact information of a driver I've been using for several years.

In AC if you are willing to pay 5000 peso you can get the top chicks at every bar you can think of. That is roughly $100. And for that money, the girl will stay all night, well into the next day and do your every bidding. Now that is definitely not going to happen in New York or London or Tehran. Not even Bangkok.

It is not just $100. You have to factor in air fares and especially hotel charges. I broke it down that a month (or two) in Pampanga would cost me a minimum of $4000. ($6,000). For very modest outlays, I have a number of bonks lined up at home, though they are of a different quality (and age). With the $6000 thus "saved", I could skip the tiring air trip for the kim chee experience and do odd European forays instead. There is a lot of down / dead time in Angeles, guys staring into their beer glasses and coffee cups.

And for $100 or $1000 there is still no guarantee of service. I reckon it might be time to leave Pampanga to the Koreans, until the Chinese start rolling in. The future there belongs to the Kims and Lees in any case as it is a stack them high model. If you want high class, you ain't going to find it in Fields Ave or Perimeter Road.

Their taxi service, click through, will sort you out. Crucially, they give good info on meeting at Manila arrivals. Unlike other airports, you exit, cross a road to the meet and greet areas. They meeting you in the XYZ area and email you details of it.

You are arriving at a good time traffic wise. Going during the day would add considerable time to the journey. I guess you are Cheap Charlieing it taking such a cheap short hop flight at such an hour. If so, taxi to Pasay and get a bus to Pampanga and trike to hotel.

Thanks for the answers I have received. I never planned to cheap charlieing in a plane trip, and I thought air asia was always the same firm, but I see now they are divided in several countries, and Air Asia Philipines has a bad rating in safety issues, so I am happy for the information.

I think the fact that prices are way up combined with many now being short time runners, others not even doing bar fines with white guys, and more than half now being chubby moms probably paints a fuller picture. Especially when you usually have to make multiple flights or a long overland connection to get there with few cities connected to Angeles by air.

If Angeles City didn't have bars it's unlikely anyone would ever want to go there. It's just not a nice place at all outside of the women as anyone honest will admit. There is still easy and affordable pussy there. Don't get me wrong! But in this interconnected world Angeles City just doesn't stand out like it used to.

Scoot airlines offer flights DMK to Clark for less than 100 bucks if booked early. That's better than that long ride from Manila to Angeles.

Problem as I see it with the use of internet sites to procure dates is your heading back into the territory of the dreaded photoshop. I want to meet the girl face to face before deciding to waste my time and money on her. Even the apps these days are loaded with glamour edits (photoshop reborn for those with a smart phone). Saggy tits and stretch marks are headed your way on a girl far less attractive than the photo's suggested. Get a hotel taxi or a car to meet you at the airport, for a ride to Angeles. Very safe. Take a nap. You should get to Angeles around 4 AM.

I stayed at Pacific Breeze Hotel and they do provide a pickup service from Manila Airport. The driver has always showed up on time. I usually nap my way to Angeles City.
