Pomp. Reply to Dante FR questions in full please so we know that you have been to AC and the Philippines in fact. Nothing to do with RTFF etc as you have used the same excuse before when refusing to help others while at the same time criticising those who suggest RTFF As someone said in a movie once 'show us the meat' (and we don't me you todger LOL).
Look forward to your comprehensive reply (point by point).

Posts: 3040Ditto. WR has always been friendly, generous, and very well informed to me as well. In my considered opinion he is one of the good guys on the PI boards.

I was a newbie once and WR was most helpful to me. Even met me for lunch at Ayala Mall in Cebu and set me up with one or two his harem fucklets who were super good to me. At first I thought he might be a pimp but then realized he's just altruistic.

I called you out on being inhospitable to newbies and the above characterization of my posting history was, in pertinent part, your reply. If you had done your due diligence about reading my posts then you would have known that your claims were untrue. You were not conscientious about doing your research and RTFF. This shortcoming is beyond the RTFF grievance that you have with your nemesis the newbie because you see Mr. Roger, you acted in bad faith by not reviewing my posting history.
However the underlying issue has nothing to do with proving my pedigree as an ISG member and is all about your conduct towards newcomers.
Here is a bitter pill for you to swallow. We are finding that technology is creating the same kind of addictive behavior that we once only associated with alcoholism and drug use. An alcohol abuser who is in denial may claim that he can give up alcohol anytime but that he does not want to stop. Maybe your rudeness to the newbie results from your boredom, frustration, and malaise caused by such an addiction. With your 5,000 posts and still rolling, it is worth thinking about. Anyway, I regret the delay in responding. I was busy with life.

Posts: 7A boring day in AC. NOT
Got a text from a friend who told me Monday was her day off and she was bored. Could we do something?
It's been written many times that there is not a lot to do during the day. There's always going to one of the malls and maybe taking in a movie but it was only 9 am and neither of us really wanted to do that. After bouncing around some ideas we decided to visit Aqua Planet, the new water park out past the airport. The day was cloudy and chance of rain all day, but no big deal if we are wet anyway.
We gather our things and meet then take a grab to the water park. A little pricey at 950 each but not horrible. They included a free chicken lunch so that was a plus.
We do a couple of the simple slides before going to the 2 big ones, only to learn you must have 4 people or you cannot ride. Mind you the park was not at all crowded and after asking several people rejected our requests to ride with us we had to come up with another plan. My girl called two of her friends and asked if they wanted to come. Hell yeah. In less than an hour 2 more hotties showed up. I give them the 2000 to enter and in they come.
We have a blast. Riding every water slide many times. No waiting. Intermittent rain was not a deterrence. And me walking with 3 pretty ladies in bathing suits was not a bad way to spend the day.
We left about 4. Took a taxi back to a central spot and were ready to part ways. I said I'm hungry, would they like to join me? All 3 agreed but they wanted to shower and change. We agreed to meet at my hotel in an hour and off they went. After an hour all 3 arrived looking great. We went to Fortune and had a nice meal. As we left the girls said they wanted to drink but didn't really want to bar hop since they too were tired. We stopped at the store, bought some alcohol and went back to the room.
The relaxing environment and being tired seemed to reduce the time it took for the alcohol to take effect. A little later lots of kisses and nakedness was the norm. The girls didn't partake in each other but didn't mind sharing me. Another hour we were all wiped out. They wanted to go home which was fine with me. I crashed and had a good night sleep.
What I thought was becoming an expensive day turned into quite a bargain and a really fun day. I really am Living Right.

Continued from Makati thread.
After having my lunch at Tequila Reef headed up to Perimeter. New names replace old names but the game is the same.
It's rainy season and the bars are relatively quiet. For some this makes the girls more outgoing. For others I'm convinced it makes them depressed and the opposite happens, they become shy. Probably because they are newer and more intimidated by others.
Visited a couple of the bars a little further out before settling in on one, DET5 I believe. Struck up a good time with a nice girl that had a sporty edgy face if you know what I mean. We drank for a couple, of hours and it was fast approaching closing time. I didn't intend to bar fine her even though we were tipsy. She said she wants to spend more time with me. I told her I'm going to are&be to listen to the band for a bit and she was welcome to join me. She said cannot tonight. So we said our goodbyes and that was that. Or so I thought.
I rode trike to R&B and decided to eat at Korean restaurant next door. First time there. Last time too. I won't bash it here but let's say it wasn't my cup of kimchi.
I go in to are&be and get a table off to the side. About 1130 a girl slides up next to me. It's the same girl from the bar. She said she changed her mind and came to see if I was here. A test? Don't know. Don't care.
We drank some more. Ordered more food and stayed about an hour. We tried it back to my hotel and both collapsed. Fell right asleep. In the morning she started getting cuddly but not really frisky. It's hard to say it was starfish but certainly less than fantastic. But hey, this wasn't arranged, we didn't discuss expectations, we didn't discuss money. I didn't bar fine her. She came to me. Not many freebies in Angeles. We had a good time together. She made some commission on drinks and had a free dinner and a couple of hours out. She left in the morning and said she hopes to see me again.
Tomorrow is another day. I'm Living Right.

Google "Mailboxes Manila" and you get several places selling physical mailboxes but also some virtual offices that offer this service and some places like MBE.
You could also try asking at a LBC if they would receive parcels for you. If you trust them a local sari sari store or other business could also act for you.

Anyone here have experience / knowledge on renting out a mailbox as a foreigner, in AC or in Manila to receive packages, not just envelopes? I'd like to order some things overseas since I plan on staying awhile, while still under the status of being a tourist, not a resident.
I figure an apartment can be rented, or a long-term condotel, for a month or two at a time, sure, that can receive packages. But that might not work for me, I just wonder if there are just boxes you can rent out, like UPS or FedEx has, maybe where they'll email or text you if you get a package. If you know of more than one company, that would be appreciated too.
Do any expats here have a hard time receiving mail in AC?
