So as you find my reply so bad here is a suggestion. You reply to Dante in full with all details to save him time. I would for one like to see what you give in info as you give little but criticise a lot. You never post photos and never say anything about your past adventures so please reply to Dante FRs in full so we can all benefit from your vast wealth of data that you can freely share with a manager.

And remember we have PM and you got good info that way and that is how it should be done after RTFF and especially AC as really if you can't come her and figure it out quickly don't come to AC in my view.

Look forward to your very long FR answering all Dante's questions. DG had it right IMHO.
You have not done so. Please do so we can read. That was the focus of the FR.

Thanks the, Mr E and be plus others who have PM me (including Dante).

Pomp. Reply to Dante FR questions in full please so we know that you have been to AC and the Philippines in fact. Nothing to do with RTFF etc as you have used the same excuse before when refusing to help others while at the same time criticising those who suggest RTFF As someone said in a movie once 'show us the meat' (and we don't me you todger LOL).

Look forward to your comprehensive reply (point by point).

Even when I was not a newbie, he offered the exact same to me, but I was too busy to take him up on it. Besides that, it was when me and my girlfriend were on a trip to Cebu.

Unfortunately, one could not be farther from the truth. I am a complete noob as far as Cebu is concerned, and I sent a PM to WR. He has been more than forthcoming with his advice. After exchanging a few emails I feel like I will definitely have a great time in Cebu next week.

    WR rocks!

A boring day in AC. NOT

Got a text from a friend who told me Monday was her day off and she was bored. Could we do something?

It's been written many times that there is not a lot to do during the day. There's always going to one of the malls and maybe taking in a movie but it was only 9 am and neither of us really wanted to do that. After bouncing around some ideas we decided to visit Aqua Planet, the new water park out past the airport. The day was cloudy and chance of rain all day, but no big deal if we are wet anyway.

We gather our things and meet then take a grab to the water park. A little pricey at 950 each but not horrible. They included a free chicken lunch so that was a plus.

We do a couple of the simple slides before going to the 2 big ones, only to learn you must have 4 people or you cannot ride. Mind you the park was not at all crowded and after asking several people rejected our requests to ride with us we had to come up with another plan. My girl called two of her friends and asked if they wanted to come. Hell yeah. In less than an hour 2 more hotties showed up. I give them the 2000 to enter and in they come.

We have a blast. Riding every water slide many times. No waiting. Intermittent rain was not a deterrence. And me walking with 3 pretty ladies in bathing suits was not a bad way to spend the day.

We left about 4. Took a taxi back to a central spot and were ready to part ways. I said I'm hungry, would they like to join me? All 3 agreed but they wanted to shower and change. We agreed to meet at my hotel in an hour and off they went. After an hour all 3 arrived looking great. We went to Fortune and had a nice meal. As we left the girls said they wanted to drink but didn't really want to bar hop since they too were tired. We stopped at the store, bought some alcohol and went back to the room.

The relaxing environment and being tired seemed to reduce the time it took for the alcohol to take effect. A little later lots of kisses and nakedness was the norm. The girls didn't partake in each other but didn't mind sharing me. Another hour we were all wiped out. They wanted to go home which was fine with me. I crashed and had a good night sleep.

What I thought was becoming an expensive day turned into quite a bargain and a really fun day. I really am Living Right.

    Good start.

    Continued from Makati thread.

After having my lunch at Tequila Reef headed up to Perimeter. New names replace old names but the game is the same.

It's rainy season and the bars are relatively quiet. For some this makes the girls more outgoing. For others I'm convinced it makes them depressed and the opposite happens, they become shy. Probably because they are newer and more intimidated by others.

Visited a couple of the bars a little further out before settling in on one, DET5 I believe. Struck up a good time with a nice girl that had a sporty edgy face if you know what I mean. We drank for a couple, of hours and it was fast approaching closing time. I didn't intend to bar fine her even though we were tipsy. She said she wants to spend more time with me. I told her I'm going to are&be to listen to the band for a bit and she was welcome to join me. She said cannot tonight. So we said our goodbyes and that was that. Or so I thought.

I rode trike to R&B and decided to eat at Korean restaurant next door. First time there. Last time too. I won't bash it here but let's say it wasn't my cup of kimchi.

I go in to are&be and get a table off to the side. About 1130 a girl slides up next to me. It's the same girl from the bar. She said she changed her mind and came to see if I was here. A test? Don't know. Don't care.

We drank some more. Ordered more food and stayed about an hour. We tried it back to my hotel and both collapsed. Fell right asleep. In the morning she started getting cuddly but not really frisky. It's hard to say it was starfish but certainly less than fantastic. But hey, this wasn't arranged, we didn't discuss expectations, we didn't discuss money. I didn't bar fine her. She came to me. Not many freebies in Angeles. We had a good time together. She made some commission on drinks and had a free dinner and a couple of hours out. She left in the morning and said she hopes to see me again.

Tomorrow is another day. I'm Living Right.

    Anyone got updated info?
I was just in PG / Sabang from July 5 - 13 and it is very true. No more public ferry banca boats servicing Sabang from Batangas terminal. You can still hire a private banca to / from Berberade and Sabang. Unless something has changed in the last month you will be dropped in PG by the public boat if you want to go to Sabang.

I've written detailed info on it. You just have to go backwards.

I've always left around 10 AM. It takes around 3.5 hours to get to Bantagas pier without any stops. There's some traffic around Manila, but hotel taxi can drive very fast before and after. I've always made the 2 something PM boat ride to Sabang from Father and Sons Line.

Really? That sucks. From Puerto Galera town, you can take the 20 pesos jeepney to Sabang. The last one leaves around the evening time. But it will be a pain in the rear to carry your luggage a few hundred meters over a hill to the jeepney station. You can take a trike for around 100 pesos.

I've done that couple of times. It's convenient if you take the tourist buses. Southern Cross shuttle to Manila in the afternoon. And then Skikat shuttle/banca to Sabang in the morning. But I don't like Manila, and I probably won't do that route again.

Hmm. Skikat gave you the public banca to Sabang. Does that mean Skikat doesn't do that route anymore?

I asked my friend Mr Google, the man who knows everything if you ask correctly, and he came up with a Mail Box Etc at 1144 Don Chino Roces.

Google "Mailboxes Manila" and you get several places selling physical mailboxes but also some virtual offices that offer this service and some places like MBE.

You could also try asking at a LBC if they would receive parcels for you. If you trust them a local sari sari store or other business could also act for you.

I figure an apartment can be rented, or a long-term condotel, for a month or two at a time, sure, that can receive packages. But that might not work for me, I just wonder if there are just boxes you can rent out, like UPS or FedEx has, maybe where they'll email or text you if you get a package. If you know of more than one company, that would be appreciated too.

Do any expats here have a hard time receiving mail in AC?
Cannot answer for AC, but in Davao, where I've lived for quite a while, it's not a problem getting package delivery. If you're expecting a package from one of the larger services such as DHL, or even an express delivery from a local service, it's easy to track the packages on line.
