Pasay is south of Ermita, with the other two to the north, so going there will mean covering the same ground twice. Something to remember is that the ticket office (where I have found that you do pay) writes the bus fleet number in the ticket, so that is what to look out for. So MD doesn't get too hopeful, I get the impression that they allocate seats to single travellers so the same sex sit next to each other. 3 hours at lunchtime should be reasonable to get to Dau from the hotel.

I find it a fun way of travel, although whether you get the 'in flight' movie may be a matter of luck.

    Thanks Shinning Wit.

This is another informative advise, will consider on the terminal to take for Dau.

As I have few days business to look after in Manila and I think after my business there been done, then I can spent the rest of my time in Angeles city, do you think this is an intelligent way? Not sure what I can get in Angeles as compare to Manila, never been there, so with mix feeling. Base on what I read here, Many Korean around there that is the first choice of the girls there, I don't. Why? The money they pay? The look? Or the size of their "C**K"? I hope to avoid those bars that only cather to K, as I don't. Want to waste of my mongering time there. Finding gems in AC? I wonder if I will be fortunate enough. Still planning this trip as I am excited to meet and taste Filipina Pus*why soon.

More info and advises will certainly a big help. Thanks!

    Cheers,

    MD.

As far as bus companies, I prefer Victory Liner. It is located in the Pasay (pronounced pa-sai) area of Manila. Just hop in a taxi in front of your hotel and say Victory Liner Pasay. The taxi should not be more than 150 pesos. Then when you get to the bus station go to the window and tell them you want the bus to Dau (pronounced the-oo). More than likely they will point to the bus that is going and you will pay for your ticket after you are in the bus. I think it is 140 pesos. Then when you get to the Dau station you take a trike to your Angeles City hotel 5 minutes away for 80 pesos.

This is indeed a very big help. Never thought that the bus station is quite near to my hotel in ermita.

I will save more money by taking the bus rather than by a private car. Hope the way to Dau is not long and traffic. My plan is checking out my ermita hotel before noon time or right after lunch so that by the time I reached AC may be it is about time to start my search. Hope to avoid any K bar. By the way I have seen bar fine ranges from 1200-2000? Is this to paid directly to the bar I guess? Will it be since it is prepaid, the talent then may try to provide bad service or change from LT to ST later blah blah blah? I am a bit worried as unlike in Bangkok, I only pay bar fine to bring the girl out and pay the girl the next day after the deeds. May be avoid some I reputable bar with bad customers comment?

    Cheers,

    MD.

At first I want to stay 3 nights in Manila hitting Ermita / Malate and then Burgos area, likely staying at new world manila bay hotel, plan to visit for sure LA cafe and get freelance in Robison's mall, then have another 1 or 2 nights searching for talent at one of the Burgos bar.

On the other hand, I also wanting to visit AC, plan to stay 2 nights there, may be staying in Lewis grand Hotel. I initially want to choose ABC but the price is way too high for my limited budget but I think ABC is located right at the heart of the mongering site while Lewis is on the far end, right? I am also confuse between Field avenue and Perimeter road, been reading all the posting here but the more I read the more confusion I got. I wonder which part I have to avoided for those bar only cathering for K clientele only? try to avoid hit and miss due to my limited stay there.

Anyone wish to give me an advise, will Manila be worth to spend 3 nights and AC for 2 nights? Or should I do the other way around. I understand Manila specially Burgos is more pricely than compare to AC, in the portion of BF etc? but I don't. know which is more fan between Manila and AC?

    Md.
MD, who can say which area you will like more? Some like Makati, some like Malate, while others like AC better. Eventually you should check out all 3 areas and decide for yourself. My advice for you this trip is don't try to do everything because you can't. 5 nights is not a lot of time. You should concentrate on one area or at the most two. Makati would be my 1st choice followed by AC for a well rounded trip, but your budget is a very deciding important factor. Burgos Bars are expensive yes, but on the other hand, the girls are great and there is very little BS. They all want you to barfine them and service and attitude is usually very good. Period. MBC in Ermita / Malate is cheap, but quality is sparse although the girls are friendly. The Havana Cafe pickup scene in Greenbelt Mall (Makati) and Burgos Street massage girls are roughly of the same or slightly better quality as MBC FL's and are available with similar pricing.

AC is altogether another story. There are a ton of bars, large and small with girls of varying quality. Prices start better than Burgos, but the popular (better looking?) girls in certain bars do not come cheap. Top top price is 4500p. You can easily spend a week here with a different girl each night. The Lewis Grand is 2 blocks further down the road from ABC. It is walkable to Fields, but they also provide a Hotel Limo for free transport (so does ABC) to anywhere on Fields / Perimeter Road and SM mall. Tuk Tuks back to your hotel when in the company of your girl (s) is the preferred mode of transport although some of my girls enjoy walking back, stopping off for food or a drink along the the way. Aside from the price advantage over ABC, the Lewis has a real pleasant swimming pool which is a nice place to cool off during the hot afternoons and a great place to recreate with your girls later at night. It never closes.

So whatever you decide, I think you will have a great time spending A) 5 nights in Makati or B) flip a coin and do 2 or 3 nights in Makati and the corresponding balance of time in AC, or C) 5 nights in AC. I know that once you have sampled Filipinas you will be back for a 2nd, 3rd, .. 200th trip, Ha Ha, so don't over think it. Select a course of action, don't look back, and the rest will take care of itself.

Try to find the hotel's own website. Sometimes they are cheaper. Some websites. Though not Expedia as far as I know. Will raise the price to make you panic buy if you visit with the same / similar search in a short space of time.

LA Cafe, Robinsons freelancers would be your cheapest probably, 1500-3000.

EDSA EC is somewhere in the range of 2500-4000 including bar fine I think.

FL168 something like 2500-3000 for the use of the room and one girl.

    Burgos / Makati freelancer 3000.

Burgos / Makati bargirl including barfine 5000-8000 (add more for drinks).

I may be horribly wrong on the latter prices and I would appreciate some corrections. As ever, most things are negotiable and depend on age, beauty, and bargaining skills.

Angeles 2000-3000 including barfine and girl. Perimeter cheaper than Fields.

Given the choice, money, and stamina I'd stay longer in Angeles. Some of those bars have wall to wall ladies in bikinis, often in a good mood. I've also been taken to the mega strip clubs in Quezon City and was bored witless.

First off 5 odd days to cover all of the Nanila P4P areas and get to angeles as well might be a stretch too far.

If you want to try Manila then I would recommend the makati area as probably the safest area in Manila to stay with Burgos street bars an excellent choice if one is seeking the best looking girls but obviously at high prices, other areas of Manila I find more dangerous with fewer good looking girls but cheaper prices, so up to you as to how much you want to spend and how important safety and the best girls are to you.

As far as Angeles, well the girls are definitely a big step down from Manila girls but cheaper prices.

Lewis grand is a great hotel and although it is not on Fields avenue it is not far and offers a 24 hour free limo service to any area within Angeles.

As far as avoiding bars that are korean owned or bars that have girls that prefer koreans the simple answer is you can't, both fields avenue and perimeter road have a very high number of therse bars, Koreans are the number 1 punter in angeles they outnumber westerners by large numbers and the girls definitely prefer to spend time with them.

Hope this has been of use to you in your upcoming trip, do not forget to give back to the board with a full trip report, enjoy.

    Hey MD,

As you've been asking the same question in multiple threads, I suggest you separate your question on the Manila part to the Manila thread and the Angeles questions to this thread.

As for the topic of how many nights to stay where, you have a really short time in either and will leave both cities with a taste for a lot more. On the one hand it may be advised for 5 nights to just skip the long commute and just stay in one place, on the other these are two places I would not want to miss out on, really.

As for your specific Angeles question, here are my insights:

ABC and Lewis Grand are 5 minutes walk apart, no real difference in location there.

The "center of action" really depends on the type of action you are looking for, if you take a look at Google Maps, you'll find that the "perimiter" daytime bars are on the corner of Don Juico and 21st street (just search ABC for example and scroll a bit towards west), then Ponytails bar, which is a night-time bar is right next to ABC. Walking street however which is the heart of the tourist and night time partying area starts, if you scroll east, on the corner where 21st splits to Fields Ave and Mitchell Ave, all the way down on Fields to where it ends on McArthur Ave.

The "blow row" is on A Santos road coming off of Fields Ave.

So basically, the middle of the action really depends on what kind of action you are looking for, since you are a first timer, I would recommend staying as close to walking street as possible, as that is where the majority of things to do is, and Angeles can be quite a shock to newcomers (it is the Philippine province, after all).

I've already posted this to you, I recommend either ABC (which is a bit far off) or FPS (Fields Plaza Suites), which is an ABC hotel and also right on top of walking street. If that exceeds you budget, Central Park is close enough.

    Enjoy,

    D

    Numbers

Thanks for your input brain drain, not sure I need to visit any museum to check the numbers of girls working in Angeles as it is there to clearly see by all who visit.

Angeles has roughly 100 bars in total if the number of bargirls was indeed 12,000 then that would mean each bar having 120 girls.

As you will agree the biggest bar in Angeles with the most staff is Atlantis bar, the total amount of bargirls on my very regular visits are roughly 60 at the very most, A majority of the big fields bars having 20 dancers and a high number of bars under 10 dancers.

Perimeter bars mostly having even smaller numbers of girls so the 12,000 quoted is not in the remotest true, maybe 2000 girls and I would possibly agree.

The most important thing here is not the total number of girls on display but the total number of remotely attractive girls on display that are willing to barfine, unfortunately these numbers are a tiny % of the girls on display IMHO.

This is the number widely quoted. It was collaborated by research on the size of the sex economy in Pampanga. Unfortunately I can't lay hands on it now. If you are in AC perhaps you can visit the museum and Clark and check the numbers with them which is where they have the research displayed.

Yep, all bar owners complain about something. Did you ask them about the crappy workplace and non-caring attitude that they offer?

Good Field Reports (newbs take note).

A few more shots from the oldie-goldie days, when the bars and girls welcomed pics taken inside. You simply had to pull out a camera to have a half-dozen or so girls close in and start posing for half a dozen pics. Ahhhhhh. . . The old days!

    Hey Westie!

Well just got back from my afternoon excursion deeper into the Perimeter bars, LIA, Roadies and After School. There were nice items in Roadies but it K only, a couple decent dancers gave us a smile but the vibe in there was not good. I let them know my thoughts as we were leaving. It was funny because we just sit down and I see this young beauty but she wasn't sending me any good vibes, not a glance. Nevertheless I asked the mama to bring her down and when she was informed of this request she walked down behind the other dancers and fled to the street LOL. Out the door was her way of saying no to Mr Whitey. When she returned I'm sure she noticed my rubbing my nose w / the middle finger. I made sure she noticed and then some K goof ball sat her down for a drink and left her a lone.

Roadies has been a K bar for a long time and I was always treated equally for the most part during the last 4 years, not anymore.

Stopped by LIA and nothing left in the cupboard then AS and only chubby 5's in there. I thought these bars opened at 2 pm but they open at 12 noon so we were way too late. I was okay w / everything because of the extra energy I expended the night before.

I was just in Shooterz and there were a few nice items and one that really got me so I call her down and buy her drink, moments later I am informed she's a Cheery Girl so I was played in Shooterz. There were other decent lookers w / big knockers so I'll return on Tuesday. They have a 2500 p BF and so that is why I am here now typing. The Perimeter bars have spoiled me.

Cheers, need to lay down now. There is a BG contest tonight at Tropic so I want to enjoy that w / a clear head. The small head has been getting a full workout but he now has to wait a bit for more. I am burned out.

    Best.
