They have to pay their rent and everything else. They are not going to risk losing the privilege to operate over not turning over the money.

I can vouch that I definitely pad on domestic CRK. CEB, then CEB. MNL as recently as June 2016. Plus international CRK. HKG.

99% of the people on those flights were not mongers. Evidently the route was not feasible. I once bought a ticket on it for $1.

There's ongoing talk of diverting some domestic flights to Clark because Manila airport is so busy. Several weeks ago in the paper was a story of plan to divert the Tacloban-Samar flights to Clark. This may come to pass (at least partially) once the highway construction to NAIA is completely finished.

Why the Bangkok-CRK route was terminated is anybody's guess.

During the past two years I have paid the domestic departure tax P150 at Clark as recent as a few months ago. A year ago I flew out of CRK on international flight but do not remember if it was in the ticket price or not.

Last month I paid the departure tax P150 at TAC as usual.

Years (decades) ago the tax at NAIA was collected in the airline ticket price until one or more airlines went bankrupted and NAIA lost out of the money. Then they went to collection at the airport. Only within a little over a year ago did NAIA go back to collecting the tax in the ticket price. I believe the same time frame for Cebu airport the tax is built into the ticket price.

Turnover of the tax could be a complex accounting and tracking matter especially if you have so many booking agents and online services collecting it and are to forward it. As you may be aware forwarding of funds in Phil can have a shrinkage problem at times!

Anyway, I will not catch a trike from same spot ever again. Had an aggresive one from same spot 2 yrs ago. I think they hate foreigners, at that spot. Right outside Kokmomos, opposite the main entrance. Crooks.

Last 24 hrs have been in bed with bad cold, now recovered and ready to rock and roll again. Feeling good. I don t let nasty incidents (not of my making) linger in my mind very long. Its on and ever forward.

Yesterday heavy argument I and bar, today another confrontation, trike driver this time.

He said yeh, yeh, I thought maybe some guys will pop out from somewhere any sec, gave him the full fare and high tailed out of that alleyway. Maybe the idea was to have a argument, he gets physical and in process robs me of my see ash.

I finally got to Orange bar and Lipstick bar, reportedly raided recent days. Yep looks like they were raided, open now, with small number of girls who most probably were not in the bar at time of raid. At Orange, girl peeps her head through entrance curtain, on seeing me, screams, laughs, giggles. I think its because they have not seen a customer in days. "What a joke, we have got a customer". I entered, the girl has personality, and a fun nature (like me, LOL).

Sit down inside buy her a single ladies drink, she is a character, and can't stop smiling, laughing. She can't believe it, she has scored a ladies drink P175 or thereabouts, her share P50. Down in Equus Walking St 'Boyish' gets P50 for each of her singles drinks. Have to sell a lot of LD's to equal a Perimeter Rd bar fine. Perim Rd girls are inclined to bar fine, Walking St girls, LD's. I avoid the double ladies drink effort by saying to waitress "She is single (bar girl) , I am single, so single drink". They smile and trot off. Avoids ya looking like a Cheap Charlie. Lately I have been buying Boyish (hair style) doubles cause she is worth it. Had a P1,500 bill at Equus. Waitresses all and sundry got into relieving me of money. Biggest bar bill for a while, that one.

At see bar had a heated argument with old senior waitress. Fixed her up. If they don't show respect, stamp on them lads. We are the buyers, they are the sellers. Since when does the buyer suck up to a seller? Anyway I have got good relations with all the girls except that fucked up hag. Girls appreciated me standing up to the woman. She talks shit to the girls, told her "You don't talk to me like I am shit".

Hit a number of bars last night. Atlantis is the king for numbers. Must be over 200 girls there on display, most tables and chairs taken. Not my scene, prefer the smaller more personal bars.
