Hi,

I have never been to the Philippines and am looking to got for a week.

From the reports I've read, if sound like either Robinsons or Harrison Plaza, one can meet a lot of girls at the mall and take them back to your place.

It also seems like one or both of these places is close to LA Cafe.

Just to confirm, are all three of these in Ermita? Harrisons seems located in Malate, but is the Ronbinsons in Ermita?

I like the idea of working my job (work remotely so need good internet for USA hours) and than rolling out of bed and hooking up at the mall or club. If I can lock down the addresses, had the vague thought of trying to find a private apartment with internet, but may not be worth the effort...

Mostly asking since it is a long trip and Robinsons malls are a chain, so I want to be sure to hit the right one. Sorry if it's a stupid question. I've gone through the forums and just want to be sure. Thanks.

Just got back from the Pi went to Cebu to meet gf and we flew back to Manila. Harrison mall is not quite as nice as Robinsons but yes thre was a nice loking lady walking around the mall. There were several others I noticed there also.

The girl I immediatl spottedy stood out like a sore thumb Just wondering around at a slow pace. My gf and I sat down and after several minutes the woman sits right across from me. She knew I knew.

I also saw several walking around in Robinsonas mall which is more upscale. If you have been around you can immediatly spot the pros. If I hadn't been with my gf no doubt I would hooked up with the girl in Harrisons Plaza.

Where is a good place for a beach holiday? I want to laze about and have a pretty girl serve me fruit and sex as the desire takes me, every day.

In fact, I would like to rent a girl from 10am to 6pm every day for a week in one location and then move to a different location and do the whole thing again. She can get another client in the evening if she wants - or not!

Food is cheap. Especially if you don't mind eating at one of those street restaurants. I had a bowl of congi (rice porridge) every morning for 17 pesos. Yum. I ate chop suey at this place every day for about 150 pesos (meal + coffee). If you want to save money, don't eat at any american places, or at the mall. Check the prices before you go in.

For girls, if you want a massage place with a fishbowl and all the trimmings, that's about 2000-3000 pesos for the room. Then, the tip is the room rate. Those are very nice.

If you don't mind streetwalkers, then you can get a nice girl for 500-700 pesos, sometimes more. You would need a place to take her, if you can't use your place, you need 300 more pesos to rent a room for two hours.

I've never been to a bar in Manila to pick up a girl. I was told to go to the EDSA complex, but I never made it there.

Don't know about the beaches.

Are there bars in Manila like there are in Angeles City or do you guys recommend going to A. C.? If you guys recommend going to A. C. Is there a safe way of getting there? Just be careful of Cebu Pacific, they seem to be having a problem getting enough passengers on the Clark - Bangkok flights and tend to cancel the flights.

they cancel at the last minute? or at least a day before? they don't send a mail to passengers? also if you call cebu one day before you can't get a confirmation of the flight?

I have long since given up buying pirated software in the street/market. When it works (seldom), it is often full of viruses/Trojans. Besides, these days if you have internet access, it is possible to download just about any software you require from a bittorrent site. If you are a member of a reputable site such as Demonoid, the software usually works and is invariably clean.

Not that I am advocating using pirated software. God forbid:eek:.

Just another cautionary note. I bought some mp3s in Pattaya, all good, but I also bought a CD with advanced photoshop utilies, and upon scanning this disk (before installling, duh) discovered multiple backdoor trojans and had to throw it away.

Always scan bootleg disks before installing or suffer the consequences.

Unfortunately the place on the 4th floor of Robinsons Ermita is gone. Surely there are other places....wish I knew where they were. Thanks GH, I'll know where to start next time.

I bought 3 DVDs in Quiapo for 100 pesos. One was unusable at the ten minute mark, one had funky English subtitles that I couldn't turn off, and one was good.

This is true. What happens is this..

1) you book your flight out on Cebu pacific to leave at 1:30 pm from clark to bangkok.

2) you arrive at 12:00 and the airport is a desert save about 15 farangs, all looking pekid

3) you are told the flight is cancelled and that at 2:00 pm a bus will take you to Manilla.

4) You press for information about why the flight was cancelled and find out they didn't sell enough seats.


5) you are bused to Manilla for a 7:00 pm flight to Bangkok and arrive at your hotel around midnight in Bangkok.


I would say right now, until this situation is cleared up, to just go ahead and take a cab to Manilla and avoid this clusterfuck. at least this way you get to spend more time with your girls instead of on a smelly bus.

ps, the bus drivers are insane! Do not under any circumstance watch what he is doing.

Bangkok and Manila are both big, dirty cities with terrible traffic. But at least Bangkok has the Sky Train so you can avoid the worst of the traffic.The food in Manila is, on average, not good. Thai food is much better. Drinks are the same everywhere. I prefer the girls in Manila. On balance I would go to Manila. Manila's cheaper. But other parts of PI are much nicer. And every man should experience a Bangkok soapy massage at least once in his life...
