Domino in Thailand

Interest and controversy is not a bad thing. However, it depends on how it is generated that is the question here. Can it be done with some degree of civility? Or do we attack, insult, malign, and libel everybody we disagree with or don't like.

sadly some people always take a different opinion as a personal attack and not as what it is, just a different opinion. None of us has final wisdom and there will always be someone knowing more about a certain issue than ourselves.

I always found it hard to understand why discussions went out of control and some people rather enjoy to exchange insults instead of arguments that back up or prove their point of view.

For me such behaviour is a sign of total lack of arguments and of course a total lack of good manners and education. Besides it is a violation of the forum rules and one of the oldest rules on the internet "be nice to each other"

There are other cases, like this one, where a certain member didn't lost his self-control but rather tried to get rid of another member by systematically assasin his character on the lowest level possible. This was well planned and I know that he asked for support from other members to join him in his ambush. I guess what finally drove him crazy was the fact that his target didn't gave up like so many others he nuked away by his behaviour.

Why not put all of his postings in this thread or just give him his own special thread under no particular domination. Maybe like Domino in the ISG forum.

I am just a little concerned about him starting to flame on other threads.

Well if that be the case then I guess Jackson will make the proper decsion on this.

In the time I have read and contributed to the ISG, I recall Domino posting truly informative reports that contributed to the carnal knowledge of our hobby. For that I commend him.

On the other hand, in my view, on far too many occasions he actively pursued malicious attacks on other forum members for no other reason than to serve his own ego.

Let's always keep in mind why Jackson created this forum, that is to share information and considered opinion about how best to get our weenie serviced.

juice, many of us are guilty of fighting with D, however, he has been a constant thorn in many people's side, and is always the common denominator. Just look at all the threads which contain his name, with others. He constantly is fighting, and trying to ridicule.

at this point, it seems Jackson has 2 choices, this, or kicking him out. If he kicks him out, he'll just come back under a different moniker. Caging him is what he needs. he deserves this. Many are surprized it took this long, and I believe many will partake in the LOS board a lot more freely.

This is a good thing.

Please keep this thread and it's occupant here permanently. It's the only way to deal with him.

The alternative is to let him continue to rampage through the section, scaring away existing and would-be posters with his bullshit and intimidation. Of course, a couple of us would continue to stand up to him, causing him to screech like a baby that can't have it's own way and this would upset the few remaining posters.

The fact is, he cannot be reasoned with. In Dominoworld he is forever right and if the rest of the world disagrees with him, the rest of the world is wrong. It's quite obvious that your action is a last-ditch attempt to keep him onboard.

Please remove this thread completely from the Thai section. There is no point of having it for just one guy when many others including myself have been part of the bullshit in the past...

Personally, I don't think this is the right way to deal with it but it is your site and you do what you have to do.
