    Bad news in Thailand

Interesting to read about NEP being Muslim owned. The place is a bottle neck that is an easy target for an incendiary attack that is if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time and by the way be careful crossing the street.

A serious Al Quida based terrorist attack there may even cause restrictions on entries for Arabs into the Kingdom and that would free up a lot of girls.

Subsequent reports of bad news such as SARS, Bird Flu, Terror, Tsunamis keep the frightened public from coming here. Increasing the supply of BG's.

We have reported multiple times not to send a bar girl money for they are out working it anyways making 4 times the average wage but guys keep doing it because “not my girl she is different”.

The Tsunami was terrible and my heart goes out to the victims but now for the next 100 years or more the most common Tsunami in Thailand will be done over a toilet seat.

    Border Run

    10,000 - 40,000 cash up-front for both tourists and Non-Immigrants
Old ministry regulation goes into effect on Oct 1, 2004

From October 1, 2004, Thai Immigration will enforce an old regulation from October 2000, that requires border runners to show evidence of cash upon re-entry to Thailand. The "new" regulations are:

    - 30 days "on arrival" entry 'walkers': 10,000 Baht (family 20,000 Baht)
    - 60 days Tourist visa holders: 20,000 Baht (family 40,000 Baht)
    - 90 days Non-Immigrant visa holders: 20,000 Baht (family 40,000 Baht)

Only cash counts. Credit cards, bank books, bank statements. ATM receipts, cashiers checks etc. are not considered valid evidence of cash.

Foreigners are concerned about bringing large amount of cash over the border and back.

The "new" regulation has recently been posted at several border points in Northern Thailand. The photos below shows the new enforced rules, and is taken from the Mae Sai border point in Chiang Rai.

    Nep Is A Safe House

I wouldn't worry too much about getting blown up in a terrorist attack at NEP. My informants tell me that the real estate at NEP is Muslim owned. I don't doubt them as they are a gifted and crafty bunch. That's why I keep them on the payroll. Good Intel is hard to find!

They have been hearing chatter that the Institute of anti-money-laundering-and-human-rights building is a possible target. It's located between MBK and Pantip. I'd tread carefully in that part of town, but I would not worry about my life too much on Soi 4. The Jihad boys have a veritable cash cow happening there and I sincerely doubt they would bomb the hand that is feeding them.

I'd say that this information is well known and it could be the reason that NEP is going down hill. The adversaries of the Jihad group are most certainly trying to make Soi Nana disappear in a clandestine effort to shut the nozzle of funds off for the Jihad Universities that are popping up everywhere.

The next time you take a drink from your Singha while ogling the gogo girls at NEP, you might take a moment and reflect on where your money is actually going. The Bush administration is convinced that anyone buying drugs is a terrorist by association. This mentality is backed by the congress and the senate. All you have to do to verify this is read their minutes. Both houses voted to earmark five hundred million dollars for an advertising campaign designed to teach (brainwash) the American populace that anyone buying drugs is a supporter of terrorism. Mr. Bush wasn’t kidding when he said, “If you’re not for us, you’re against us.”

Now you might ask me how the hell NEP and drugs are related to each other and it would be a good question, but the answer is very simple. Drugs are something that people do to forget or at the very least they are taken in an effort to slow down the thinking process. It is a well known fact that when a person is having an orgasm, the mind can't think at all. It is only during the time that the orgasm is taking place. Afterwards, the thought process returns to normal.

If you ponder this trivia for a moment it might dawn on you that sex is the primary drug of mankind. And if you squeeze your brain just a little harder you will come to realize that it is also highly addictive. After all, not everyone does drugs, but there are 6.6 billion people that are having sex on this planet! That is why I mention drugs in relation to NEP. A good memory is hard to find, and a memory forgotten is what most of the populace is in the process of doing. How else can you explain the fucked up state of this world?

Speaking of fucked up. I've got a report coming about fucked up sex tourists that fall in love with bar girls. I am now gainfully employed as an email interpretor for those little brown eyed beauties. I've been on the job for one day and I already want to quit. The sap I've been reading has spent 1,000,000 baht over the course of two years sending money to the girl I had sex with last night. She is one little hellion in the bed, so it's understandable just how much she made this farang forget. It's sad, actually.

Therefore, the average Joe should be careful in two ways: 1) Avoid all Thai government buildings if possible, and 2) don’t get caught on the wrong side of the United States Government’s Anti Terrorism Campaign. You might find yourself in a prison without recourse for a lawyer because you have been labeled as an enemy combatant.

Oops! There is a 3rd thing the average Joe should do. Don't fall too much in love with the process of forgetting!

    That's all for now,

    Happy new year??

    Hi Guys,

I just wanted to wish you all a happy new year, if that is possible in some of the effected areas of SEA. New year spirit will probably show in massive donations. Fireworks have been cancelled in my city and the money given to aid organisations.

I really don't think terrorists would bother doing anything for some time. Nuture has done more damage than they could ever do.

I had a phone call from my travel agent today asking if I still want to go..... are they kidding..... 8 days to go and counting

    Happy New Year!

    Muslims in Thailand

Muslims are an integral part of Thailand. There are many Muslim tourists in Bkk Soi 3 and Pattaya. Unlike European lager louts, kiddy lovers etc, they do not cause much trouble (some love lost between them and Thais but so what). They like their women fat so they are not after the same tired old holes most white guys are. They leave us alone. We should leave them alone.

Just my 2 baht (as a non fascist).

PS: Muslim women give the best bjs but ymmv.

    Thai Cultural Digest Part 5

From a book on Thai culture…

    Prostitution

“Many male visitors are likely to spend at least part of their leisure time in the company of some of those Thai women who work in one form or another of prostitution. It has been variously estimated that between one and five per cent of the female population pursues this oldest of professions. This means, of course, that at least 95 per cent do not, a simple and obvious point that should be remembered.

The fact that women of easy virtue naturally gravitate around the male visitor’s world-- where the money is- means that many visitors impressions of Thai women that is no more true than the impression of western women held by many Thais.

Prostitute lose face and status, but they also make money, which can eventually re-buy many of the superficial daily actions of respect that are essential to a Thai’s mental well-being. While making the money, these girls often compensate psychologically by a brash disregard for Thai norms. Sometimes they almost completely leave the Thai community, while continuing to live in Thailand, and accept only the company of farang, Arab or Japanese visitors.”

    Comment:

It is interesting that even though only 1 to 5 percent of Thai women are prostitutes they get so much attention (mostly negative) around the world.

    Ralph Kramden,

muslim terrorists are already active in Bangkok. Last month my GF told me that security had found a bomb in the lobby of the Thai Inter main office. Police bomb squad was able to disarm the bomb and nobody got hurt, but security was raised after that incident and roads around the buildings were blocked off. Now they got checked by security everyday and are always remembered to keep their eyes open to prevent another attack.

Guess it's only a matter of time till they blow up NEP or another similar spot.

Well, Pattaya kind of deserves it. I'm suprised they've waited so long.

On the other hand, Thailand remains a nice safe-haven for the Jihad-boys; just check out Soi 3. Can't see them wanting to have to move out.

    News Update FYI

As reported in the 12/23 Online WSJ provided by AP:

BANGKOK, Thailand -- Terrorists are plotting attacks next year at tourist resorts across Thailand, according to documents found in the house of a fugitive leader of the country's Islamic insurgency, a senior security official told the Associated Press.

Gen. Kitti Rattanachaya, a senior security adviser to Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, said the seized documents indicate the separatists want to escalate their fight against the Buddhist central government next year.

He said the documents show that in 2005, the militants plan to attack "soft targets" such as the tropical beach resorts of Pattaya and Phuket, which draw tourist from around the world.

    Thai Cultural Digest Part 4

From a book on Thai culture…

    Flattery

“One of the most pleasant aspects of Thai small talk is the Thai zest for flattery. Try to keep your ego within limits when everything about you is being praised. Height, hair, eyes and skin color are all acceptable subjects for praise. Having admitted to being over 40, you will be told you look thirty. Such flattery can cross the sex line (within limits), but remember that it is only small talk!”

I am happy you finally decided to become an academic.

There is one minor flaw in your book though - graduate students do not wear uniform.

And the uniform and all those stupid colors on the shirt is not a Thai thing - you find it all over the world in the customs, rangers, police and military. (I admit that here it is too much of it ...).

And the uniforms of pupils is just a colonial leftover from the British and French (and I know that Thailand was never formally colonized - that's not the point...)

Happy reading (and you will find school girls uniform in any size - even for old fat hags working at Edens's).

    Thai Cultural Digest Part 3

    I’m reading a book on Thai culture…

    Uniforms in Thailand

“A surprisingly large percentage of the non-agricultural population is employed directly by the government as civil servants who wear uniform. All schools and universities students also wear uniforms. If individual ranking is not adequately registered by the official uniform, a ‘uniform’ group may introduce conventions of their own to distinguish between degrees of standing. Thus, first year university students, by convention, wear white socks.
