It appears from the post below that thje OP was talking about "Girls House" and not casa de modelos. There is a Hotel right next to Girls House named Mystic. Not sure if it is the same owner but both are cuban owned.

He also mentioned the main shopping area 4-5 blocks away. I would think he is talking about El Conde which is further than 4-5 blocks but is only maybe 10 minutes from Girls House and is crawling with chicas and guides as well.

Great report just trying to make it more accurate for future visitors to SDQ.

First off in SD. Plenty of play and Casa Modelos is pretty good. 7+ usually, some better. My friend got lucky and scored what I would easily call a 9-10, closer to a 10 and she had a great personality and SHE wanted to go more than once during a 2-3 hour twirl. They jump you when you walk in the door, so like the other posts, take your time. The Hottie appeared after we dithered around drinking for about an hour with 3 7-8 clingers hanging out and hanging on. Try the late afternoons before it heats up and you get a pretty good selection. The owner has a new hotel "motel" by the hour next door that is brand new and also a potential daily rental for the real hard core members. Next door lodgings also negate the cab fare argument at the close. I think it is about $60 a night, the rooms are brand new and spanking clean, good mattresses and TVs and the best playing field is like a 30 foot stagger away. There is a main shopping "strip", I forget the name, where there is play and plenty of "guides" during the day maybe 4-5 blocks away. We picked up an English speaking street guide there, he then walked us to Modelos after feeding him a big lunch. Dumped him after Modelos because he was a clinger and too leechy.

As a new member to this community, I have wandered around the site looking for good info and good writing. Finally, I have been rewarded. The quality and quantity of reports is amazing. I salute all of you for your style, sincerity and insight.
A little about myself. I am fluent in spanish and a seasoned traveller. However, in the past 5 years, my adventures have been limited to Cuba, Cuba and Cuba. Harumfff !!! I'd like to get the taste of Crystal and Havana Club out of my mouth and you guys have certainly moved me in the right direction. Even though Fidel's little paradise has been a treat, I'm really ready for a new island. I'd like to hear from some of you about your near future plans in the DR. Like I said, I speak fluent spanish and know my way around a good time. Anyway, keep the great reports coming and as soon as possible, I'll add my own.

This is a great report. The only way I can tell that you are a newbie to the board (other than your number of posts) , is your level of enthusiasm for Sosua. The more you return there, the less it will be. But thanks alot for your report. It was outstanding to say the least.
