Searching:

Yes, you can use the built-in search engine. But sometimes, that does not seem to work in retrieving all the posts you want. So, as an alternative:

1. For the thread you want to search, top right of the column headers for the actual posts, there is a button labeled "Thread Tools". Click on it; a pull down menu will appear. Select the 1st option: "Show Printable Version"

2. In the new page that appears, you will just get 1 page of that thread. In the upper right corner, click on the "Show 1000 posts from this thread on one page" link.

Now, you have 1000 posts per page, easily searchable using your browser's search tools.

3. Use your browser's Find (mine is under Edit in my browser's global menu bar), and is titled "Find in top window" to enter in your search criteria.

4. Use your browser's "save as" or "save" in your browser's global menu bar (under File), save page(s) to your own computer, and search them using any text editor.

Also useful for downloading and reading at your leisure.

Great idea Jackson!!

Due to the same questions being asked OVER and OVER again, here are some links to certain FAQ's. Yes, it will take you some time to read these, some are a bit long (and perhaps tedious). Some are even old, but, although things change, they stay the same. Main venues stay the same. Hotels basically stay the same. Prices will creap up, so, if you're budgeting, add 100-200 dhs.

However, you will gain a lot of valuable info here, and by reading FIRST, then posting KNOWLEDGABLE questions, much less likely to get flames (at least by me, but I AM a crotchety old man).

In the last ref above, with respect to hotels: one correction: the York is NOT GF.

How I got the post id number (there is no doubt an easier way):

• id number is the number in top right corner of each post
• right click with mouse, select "copy shortcut"
• you will get something like htp://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=393472&postcount=3260
• I have garbled the http to htp intentionally so it won't be automatically parsed
• The number you want is after the showpost.php?p= (in this example, it's 393472). DON'T include the &postcount.
• Then just put it between the {post}{/post} brackets, but use square brackets instead of squiggly ones

I've started this new thread to provide a centralized location to catalog the Forum's best travel reports. Here's the idea:

If you have written one or several detailed travel reports, or if you know of such reports, then please post the link here.

You may also include a short summary of the nature of the report.

A sample report would be something like this:

You can copy and paste the link into a report, or you can do it the easy way and use the [post] tags, which you would format like this:

[post]Post ID number here[/post]

You can identify the Post ID by moving your mouse pointer over the "Quote" button and reading the Post ID number in the Status Bar at the bottom of your browser window. It's the last number at the end of the link text, just after the letters "p=".

Please note: In order for this thread to be effective, it cannot turn into a discussion forum. I don't want to have to be so tough about this, but any reports that do not include a link to another report will be deleted.
