Posts: 3074Another ISG member just stayed there and got socked $60 extra each time he had a visitor. I'm not sure if he booked for two, or what the situation was. However two other GF hotels which are in the same price range would be the Sonesta on Alcanfores or the Doubletree on Independencia. If you have deeper pockets the J. W. Marriott is 100% GF as well.
In order to be in touch with me, you will have to pay the ISG membership fee. That way you can send and receive PMs.

Hi David,
I am for the first time in Lima (24th to 27th September). I am also new to this forum.
I have been reading your advices about hotels and appartements. I have booked a double room in Radisson Decapolis Miraflores which is very expensive. Usually bigger hotels give you less problems with girls. Is this hotel ok? I can still cancel the booking. How is it with the appartements do they clean this appartements also every day. I like it clean with new girls. I see that you help to get some girls. How does it work?
Thanks for you help.

Two apartments that I am looking at are on 895 Avenida 28 de Julio, Miraflores, Lima, which is a 3 year old building and beautiful apartments with pool, sauna, gym, pool room, home theatre etc and only $50.00 / night. The others are on Alcanflores close to major hotels, older building and just the apartment for $45.00 / night. I am liking the Parque Miraflores apartments on 895 avenida 28 de Julio. Would that be too far from entertainment? Thanks.

In case anyone is looking for a cool hotel for couples (max 12 hours stay!) I can recommend the following:
http://www.hotelhollywood.com.pe/
Especially the "theme" suites are nice: Love Swing, Disco Lights, Pole Dance, Love Chair, Jacuzzi, etc. Instructions included.

Right off hand you should look into Hotel La Princessa in Lince which is right next door to Miraflores. You could easily stay in that area and have quick access to Miraflores to socialize.
I believe they have both AC and Heat but double check.

I own an apartment and due to rising crime, the portero is checking I.D.s and writing down names. So this is no big deal. That said, I have recommended ACP to more fifty ISG members. Recently a guy complained to me that he was told by the person he contacted at ACP he couldnt have any guests in the apartment after 11:00 p.m. Of course this is not only ridiculous, but completely illegal in Peru. Once you rent a place you have practically the same rights as the apartment owner. I told the guy to check and he would find the same apartment on some other site, he did and he rented from the other place. So ACP lost a commision. Whoever is telling guys who want to rent an apt. that they cant have guests after 11:00 should be controlled. FlyingAce, I suggest you buy this guy out or tell him to stop being an idiot.

I'd prefer an apartment, but for this reason, I may have to stay in a hotel, as it seems AC is not that common in Lima.

Hello all,
I'm one of the partners at ACP and have been a member here for years. My partner is aware that we get inquiries from ISG but is not a member and is not as "open minded" (he he he) as I may be. I'm single (actually divorced) and he has been happily married to a Peruvian for many years.
What he states is correct, recently the doormen, porters in some cases have been a little more strict when it comes to allowing unidentified guests. This is more for YOUR protection than "official" building rules. They may require an I'd to provide a little more security from some un-savory women that have been known to leave with items either from the apartment or the client.
You should also realize that the apartments listed are privately owned by individuals, not ACP, and the owners are concerned about appearances. As long as you are respectful and your "guests" are respectful you shouldn't have any problem. You must realize these are "residential" apartments and not the same as a hotel. Would you act differently at a hotel or your own home?
I can't state this for each and every property, and this is not an endorsement from ACP, but we haven't received many complaints in the years we've been operating ACP. There have been one or two complaints of noise or un-professional behavior and we take these seriously and notate client records for future booking requests.
Once again, please do not take this as an endorsement or a condemnation of ACP. Act professionally, respectfully when having guests and you shouldn't have any problems. Think of apartments rented through ACP as your "Home away from home" Act accordingly.
Flyingace.
