What is the best rate per night that one can get from Cali Plaza? Book directly or through a hotel portal like booking.com? Have anyone tried finding lodging on airbnb in that same area?

I used to book directly to the hotel online. The normal rate for the bottom floor rooms is around $65 a night. But last time I booked with Trivago. They charged $45.

Cali Plaza is extremely chica friendly, I'm here at the moment and the door man give me a big thumbs up when I was getting into the elevator with 2 chicks last night. Its not the nice hotel, but the location is amazing.

I agree, stayed there a number of times. Cali Plaza is a 3 star hotel, adequate facilities. TV, frig, A / Con, room safe, nice bathroom (plenty of hot water). But the location is great, right there at Avenida Sexta and all the action on the north side. Everything is walkable.

finally got into our three bedroom penthouse here in cali, we offer rooms for about 56 dollars per night.

it includes hi speed wireless internet, breakfast, maid service, and tours.

in addition, some private car service.

there are five us staying here now, as there are two more areas to sleep apart from the bedrooms.

Well I guess I'm going to soon find out. Sounds like Cali Plaza Hotel is the closest to any mongering hotel were going to get in Cali. When were you going to Cali? I'm just going to connect with locals there and use taxi drivers as wingmen.

Planing my first trip ti Cali also, is Cali Plaza Hotel a good start to stay? Is it close to all the action, girl friendly and so on? Any info on Cali would be very helpful, thanks sounds like I want to be by the sexta area, is this a good place?

La dorada, diariamente or amores on avenida 3N. I will be very close and wouldn't mind walking over. Also looking for an 1 bdrm apt or studio in el norte in flora or chipichape area.

There's really no monger central type place or area in Cali. Having said that, Cali Plaza is probably your best bet. The manager (if he's around) is American.

As others have said, Cali is not set up for mongering as well as MDE or Cartagena. And there's not much English spoken.

I went through Cali list but still couldn't determine what is best "monger central" hotel in Cali close to Sexta area, that caters to Americans (speaks English) & is chica friendly. Can someone please tell me hotel in Cali (other than Cali Plaza Hotel) , that caters to what we do?

I have never been to Cali (yet), but my Spanish is very good. I am just wondering why you are considering Cali if you are seeking "English Speaking" venues?

If you read through some of the posts here you will see a repeated theme that Cali is not for non-Spanish speakers; and very little if any English is spoken here.
