Hey All,

I have been a long time member of ISG and love it as it is information at its best.
My usual trip is Rio but this year after reading so many great things about Cartagena I am adding a few days there onto the end of my Rio trip.

I will be going to rio first for 7-10 days and catching Cartagena on my way back to ATL.

I am planning on 12-3-08 to 12-10-08 in Rio and 12-10-08 to 12-14-08 in Cartagena.
Planning time is short for the Cartagena portion of my trip so some help would be very greatly appreiciated and rewarded with a couple of cold ones if you are down there when I come through.

So heres what I need to know:

I always stay at apartments and would like to do so again here but I would also like it to be on the beach or very close I hear Juan has some any good ones you guys know of to suit my needs as listed above?

Also how far would this area be from the city action?

The beach action from what I have read here is pretty good but mixed reviews of Tony :) and his policies so are there any other good beach spots for good local action?

Fucking cruiseros is a main occupation of all Costeños.

Once I had the misfortune of strolling through Plaza San Diego when a cruise ship happened to be in port. I was fucking mobbed. Fortunately one of the mob recognized me and told the others that I lived there. They quickly dispersed.

The fare from the cruise terminal to el Centro should have been 4 or 5K.

I picked this guy that for $30 took us to the main square, a small improvised tour and to the "chicas" I can't remember the name of the place but there were quite a few chicks. The one I took (in the poto) was a solid 9. Nice!

No sign during the day, but at night they put out a well lit sign that is easy to see. This is a discoteca where girls kind of freelance, although there are rooms upstairs and some girls live there. Rooms are 30000 pesos for half hour 40000 pesos for an hour. You negotiate with the chica on the price, but expect to pay around 100k pesos for an hour or more.
