I have been tracking flight prices to BKK, and there was a big price drop yesterday with Jet Airways so I bagged a bargain at £466.

Arriving in BKK on 7th October, heading to Koh Chang with The Shrimp and then Pattaya on my own. Will be in Patts from about 13th to 18th October. If anyone fancies a beer I'll be in the BeerGarden.

I'm going to be traveling to Thailand from Sept. 7th to Oct. 6th. I am considering possibly moving to Bangkok or Prague for good so this is a "research" trip as well as a mongering trip (I last wrote on this forum some reviews, stories, about my three months living in Prague some years ago).

I would love to meet up with some people who are there now and have experience when I arrive. Do you have any suggestions for a cheaper apartment in a good location (or better yet have one you're looking to sub-lease for a month). Do you know of massage parlors, etc. That have,"Birthday Specials", etc, (I'm purposely traveling here in time to spend my birthday)?

Any help / advice / just meeting up to get me adjusted / feeling at home would be greatly appreciated.)
