On a more serious note, our hobby is somewhat solitary. None of my friends have a clue what I do. My trips are made alone, and whilst I am sufficiently sociable to chat to anyone in a bar, sometimes it's cool to meet up with people you talk with on-line. No big deal either way, but it's useful to have the opportunity.
