Merry Christmas people. Thinking about going to Thailand strictly for mongering as an alternative to my usual destination of Singapore. I am of course researching the forum as usual but can someone give me a few pointers. I've never been before at all and will be going on my own in the second week of January for 5 days.

Is this a good time to go? You guys think Pattaya or Bangkok? I'm after staying at a five star hotel (not too worried about the price) and getting really nice girls where I don't mind paying 5000 bht for (which from my reading here is a lot). What areas do I need to search on booking.com for hotels? I have found a list of places to check out in Bangkok and there is plenty of info for Pattaya for where to go as well.

If it were me (and fuck my monkey balls it's not), I would go to Bangkok instead of Pattaya. I love Pattaya and its's lady offerings, but the girls in Bangkok are just a little less fresh off the farm and slightly more to my liking. It sounds like that is what you are looking for. If it were me (I think I mentioned my fucking monkey balls already) I would stay at the Landmark or JW Marriott, or Terminal 21, or if money really was not any issue, I might splash for the Sheraton near Asok. The areas you want on booking.com are Nana, Sukhumvit, and Asok. Other areas might work, but they are not in the heart of the action. Those other areas would be Chidlom, Siam, Pathumwan, and Ploenchit. Definitely don't stay on or near the river. That is far too distant, even though some of the best hotels are down there. In the 'other areas' section (Chidlom, etc.), you could stay at the Hyatt Erawan, or the Intercontinental, or Grande Centre Point Ratchadamri, or one of the other Marriotts, but they are just a tad far for me. So as I said, my choices would be the Landmark, JW Marriott, Terminal 21 or Sheraton, but I am sure others will have their own preferences. I recommend you look through the hotels thread.

Me and my monkey balls would visit NEP, Soi Cowboy, Mixx and Climax, not in that order. I would walk into each joint, find the woman who meets my perfect needs, and talk for a good long while. I would then seal the deal without a single mention of money. Go back to the hotel, laugh and joke a lot, have some alcohol available, and let loose for a while. When the monkey balls come out and the fucking starts, I would foreplay+sex for a good 3 hours (no multiple pops for this old Kumbu), ejaculate in one mighty heave, and then speed to end the ordeal. I would shower, have her shower, pay her whatever I was comfortable with (given that money is no object), and kick her to the curb. No LT bullshit for me, since sleep is paramount for the proper functioning of the aforementioned primate testis. I would get a good 8. 25 hours of sleep, spend the next day sipping coffee and tasting delicacies (of the epicurean kind, not the coital kind) around Bangkok, and upon the descent of the smog-faded sun, and the accompanying instinctual speeding of the pulse, I would repeat the cycle as needed.

Personally, I think the quality of girls is better in Bangkok than in Pattaya. If you are looking at "getting really nice girls", I would stay with Bangkok. I have been to Pattaya about 20 times, and Bangkok about 100 times. Of all the girls I have ever been with in Thailand, I wouldn't rate any girl I have had in Pattaya in the top 100. I don't know if it's just bad luck, but I don't even go to Pattaya anymore. In Bangkok, I normally stay at the JW Marriott on Soi 2. There is plenty of action in that area. Restaurants, gogos, etc. There is a nice big mirror that takes up the entire wall by the bed as well. I've always liked that about the Marriott. But there are quite a few nice 5 star hotels not far from that area.

If you just come to Thailand for mongering then Pattaya is the place to be.

You will find everything there from cheap to expensive.

Any hotel at our near Beach Road will be in a good location for finding girls. Look in the usual hotel 'booking.com' websites to find something.

For 5000 baht you can easily get a cute gogo dancer to spend the whole night with you.

As soon as you say you want 5 star Hotels, you will alienate plenty of posters, who prefer to save money. I don't even know if great Hotels I stayed at were 5 stars or only 4. If you have a list of places, you should publish them to get any comment on whether its a good or bad list. You should know where they are and therefore where to stay? Or lazy to find out? We won't know what is "really nice" girls for you either. You don't say what you would use 5000 baht for. Your overall post suffers from vagueness, for me.

Which girls are not doable?

I would probably pass on girls labelled: alien, cat, lizard, jugs, and would not take the first 2 girls in the set of three. with face shape just a bit too altered.
Skin colour can be blue or green or dark, does not worry me, so not a racist, but not keen on anything looking really severely non human.
Variegated skin colours is a bit like tatoos.

A little shrapnel on face is tolerable, as in 7 of 9 (equivalent to piercings).

Weird ears does not bother me much but very strange noses puts me off a little. These are somewhat equivalent to surgeries girls (some looking like aliens to me).

In plenty of bars the customer Tequilas are not like the lady Tequilas, so girls in those bars may get a big shock, after previously drinking sweeter weaker stuff.

In Billboard, girls were drinking Pink strawberry milky stuff in shot glasses and still calling it Tequilas. LOL Bargirls use Tequila as a very generic word for strong drink that is not Lao Khao "White Spirit" stuff drunk by country folk and often mixed with old Thai form of Krathing Daeng (Red Bull) in the brown bottle.

Wrap the bottle in 2 layers of bubble wrap. Bigger bubbles provide more cushioning. And put a roll of toilet paper over the neck to equal out the diameter. Give it another wrap if you want. Don't forget about the bottom. Pack it in the middle of the hard shell bag with the clothes doing the cushioning.

Never had one broken yet. I have toted about 12 bottles of various farang lao over the past 3 years. Of course, you give up some space in the suitcase but you get it back when you return.

I have never had one broken either and all I do is wrap it in a couple of my shirts and my bag is soft.

So a buddy of mine just returned from Oaxaca and brought back a bottle of really nice Mezcal for me. He knows I love the stuff. What a smoky charcoal, yet smooth to the finish flavor and taste this alcohol has. There is no burn. I think I might like it better than anejo Tequila. So I begin to think wouldn't it be nice to have a bottle of mezcal in BKK. I am reluctant to carry a bottle in my checked luggage due to the risk of breakage and forget about finding it in a duty free store. My question is does anyone know a store that sells high quality Mezcal or Anejo Tequila in BKK?
