ST stands for short time. Most of the time, it means one pop and about one hour (or till you pop, which ever comes first) unless negotiated in advance.

LT stands for Long time, usually till early morning (again exact time to negotiate in advance), it also means multiple pops but the lady will want to sleep, so do not expect an all night marathon.

Also, I am trying to find a better explanation of ST & LT. When I search the forums, it says "search string too short" I read the abbreviations tab, but it's very vague and I don't think applies to Thailand.

I'm guessing st = short time or basically 1 hour or 1 pop, whichever comes first? LT = long time? Abbrev tab says overnight, so if I barfine a girl for LT at 6 pm, I can bang her all night long? Doesn't make sense to do ST then other than variety. Please help!

From other forums I've gathered it's a big fine, possibly jail and they take them. Do they only take the excess or do they take all of them? Seems like I could just put a few packs in cargo short pockets in checked luggage and a few packs on my carry on. Seems lots of people never get checked. Paying duty isn't a option due to law. Any suggestions?
    Hi,

Maybe another member who is a non smoker take them for you if you are travelling together or possibly befriend some one on the same flight at check in and see if they can help you out. I have carried cigarettes and alcohol before and I have asked others to help me too and it works.

My biggest worry is not being allowed in the country with a return date that far out. Is that something I should be concerned a out?

    Thank you for any advice.
Yes you may need a VISA, and even then staying for 90 days in a row may not be permitted. Normally VISA free entry (with no VISA) is for 30 days and can get a 30 day extension for fee which I believe is 1900 Baht (not 1600) and apply before your 30 days expires and don't forget about any public holidays. Max consecutive time in Thailand is probably 60 days. Then you have to fly to Cambodia and back or Singapore, or Laos, etc. So that is actually without VISA application.

I am assuming you are US citizen.

You can apply to a multi entry tourist VISA with each stay a max of 60 days. There may some type of VISA that allows 90 days. Consult your local Thai embassy or consulate about what type of VISA is possible. Certainly a stay of 90 days is not considered a normal tourist event and may be difficult to do.

An actual "taxi" will charge you 200 baht. If you use the baht bus that is backed in to load passengers, and their big luggage too, they will take you for 50 baht. It takes a little longer and you are crammed tight but those are your options.

Check my TR in Pattaya Board. Only alcohol prohibited before 6. Get there early to get the hotties. Beware of overcharging on BF's.

I was staying around Nana, so I took the BTS to arrive at Ekkamai BTS station. Follow the sign to exit for bus station, it is right there within 100 meters.

There are few counters for buses. AC buses fare ranging from B108 to B135 depending on the bus companies. There are also minivan and micro- buses running. There are counters for that too, though prices are little higher.

I bought a ticket for the cheapest bus for B108. The bus departed on time and though the travel was about 2:30 hours mentioned but we arrived at Pattaya within 2 hours non-stop. At Pattaya bus station, took a motor cycle taxi for 100 baht to my hotel. Total 28 (BTS)+108 (Bus)+ 100 (MC Taxi) = 236 baht and I moved from Sukhumvit to Pattaya hotel to hotel in 2:30 hours in total.

I liked this very much. Followed the same procedure for return and reached Bangkok in on 1 hour 50 Minutes. Both my travels were during noon (starting at 11 am and reaching about 1 pm). So if you are a single traveler and wish to travel to Pattaya cheap but faster, this is one of your options.

I am pleased with Bell Transportation. I fell very safe on those large, AC buses. On my first trip, we plowed into a small automobile (not really sure whose fault it was), but we rear-ended them and neither the car nor the auto faired very well. Very sad. But while the car was destroyed, the bus seemed to only have a dented panel with some scratched paint. I can imagine that poor car / driver being a power taxi / me!

Anyway, I have never taken the bus from BKK to Pattaya. The timing is never right so I take a taxi. (I always take the bus back to BKK.) But I carry a checked bag and a large carry on, so taking a motorcycle taxi is not an option. Any one know what a fair tax cab fare would be from the bus station to a Soi 13 hotel? Thanks.

My smart imagination makes me think too this has something to do with a risky birthday year of the girl in question, if you know what I mean. 555.

The smart forum software doesn't seem to like tricky words that could lead to some legal issues.

    Visa extention

Depending of course on the type of passport you have.

For instance I have a pasport under EU rules which allows me for a 30 days tourist Visa.

My return flights are always between 7 and 9 weeks after arrival; never had a question on that.

Since around 2 years it is possible to extend your 30 days stay into a 60 days stay (for 1. 600 THB. Around 50 $).

For that you have to go to Immigration Division 1 Office, Chalermprakiat Government Complex, Chaengwattana Rd (soi 7), Laksi, Bangkok (https://www.live-less-ordinary.com/v...gration-office).

Laksi District is close to Dong Muang airport and your can take the BTS or MRT to the Chatuchak area (better known as weekend market or JJ market) and take a taxi from there.

Another way is a short visa run; I often go for one night to Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.

    Goodluck with this.

    Nuru gel.

Where is the best (cheap) place to buy nuru massage gel to take home? I need about 10 liters in total. Any brand recommendation?

    Freelancers.

Is it necessary to check ID of freelancers to avoid [CodeWord902] girls? Is it customary to ask for ID before striking a deal?
