So true. You never want to do anything visa related in Indonesia for any country. Even living in Indonesia, I would specially fly to Thailand, Hong Kong, or Singapore to get visas to any country I needed to go simply because Indonesia is such a pain in the ass to get a visa to anywhere.

You should use the general Thread. I used to average 7 free entries per year, each for 30 days max. And extendable to 60 for 1900 Baht at Immigration (in Chaeng Wattana or a province office). They decided to do a crack down, because they want more money coming in.

The official line now, is you get 2 free entries for 30 days each and extendable (at least for my country. Different for Indians) per year (Calendar year??? - maybe counted as the year before your entry). They "MAY" let you have additional free entries. Depends on if the airport officer likes you or not, or is in a good mood, etc. If you want more than 2 entries per year, you are advised (officially) to apply for a Visa.

You can get a single entry Visa from most nearby countries' Thai embassy or consulate. Unfortunately the requirements for documentation and length of time (how many days) taken vary. Jakarta was so difficult. Strike that one off. Maybe much easier in Laos, Cambodia, Singapore. They MAY want to see your flight itinerary, hotel booking, etc. even you don't know in advance what date they will complete the Visa, ha ha, so don't leave it till the last minute to get organised.

You can get multi entry Visa from your home country. I use a 6 month multi-entry Visa (requires evidence of money in the bank) when possible each year now and maybe 2 free entries on top of that. I will change over to a yearly Visa soon hopefully.

I walk past L0litas and Kasalong almost every day or night and have seen several new girls sitting outside both over the past 2-3 weeks. At least a handful have what I would consider cute or pretty faces and fit, doable bodies.

I agree. I walked by there the other day and thought the girls were the cutest there that I have ever seen. The BJ bars normally have mostly dogs, but there were some nice girls seated out there saying "inside".

Seems there has been an uptick in hiring a few new ones lately. The turn over and change in line ups at these places is not as notable as it is in most go-go bars, where it can look very different from night to night if not hour to hour. But lately I would not take a negative report about who or what someone saw while walking by once in a great while as a reason not to check them out more regularly. Based on looks alone, that is.

If you keep walking past that famous bar on soi 8, you'll see a small alleyway on the left that has a hair salon. Once you get back out into the sunlight, you can literally touch a gal that could be gobbling your knob in mere moments. It's seriously about a 15 second walk past L's.

So it means Kasalong is at the end of the soi. Ok I will pass [CodeWord901]'s and see if I can find Kasalong.
