Why wouldn't she be 100% Thai? As long as you have been going to Thailand, you have not realized that they cater to the customers they are usually around? This includes learning the language, listening to the music, and dressing and doing their makeup the way women from those countries do it. If it was in English would you think she was not 100% Thai?

I'll tell you my experience with it, but I came in through the sandbox w / a COE about 3 months ago. Tons of people in the airport to check your stuff / walk you through entry. Today YMMV.

I downloaded the app before leaving home per the instructions from the Thai consulate. Got to Phuket and nope, they use a different app in Phuket. I just handed my phone (still on a US sim card) to the girl who checked my COE and she keyed up the WiFi and got the right app up and running. No problem. The app loads onto the phone not the sim card. Also it runs on bluetooth, so no need for a local sim card as far as the app is concerned.

Bottom line: Don't over think it. Download the app and get on the plane. Thailand wants you here, and if they have to patch up your paperwork / phone on arrival they will.

I didn't read through it but a quick skim of this thread named some companies. Others have suggested just buy any insurance those issuing the Thailand Pass are not checking if it's actually COVID insurance.

While you are waiting for the Thailand bars to reopen, consider a quick trip to Phnom Penh. Visa easy to get, no quarantine for vaccinated travellers and a god bar scene now.

I can confirm that 90% of the girly bars are open in Phnom Penh. The official full open date is 1st December but most of the bars are open already. Plenty of girls around, with more arriving daily from their provinces. ST and LT prices ver negotiable with the girls keen to meet guys. Streets 130 and 136 still have the highest concentration of bars, with streets 104,110, 118 and 5 also having some open bars. Drinks prices are reasonable. Draft beer $1. 50, spirits $3. 75, ladydrinks $3. 50-$4. Local hotels doing some amazing deals as well.

Others have suggested just buy any insurance those issuing the Thailand Pass are not checking if it's actually COVID insurance.

The insurance has to be for $50,000 but it does not need to say it covers Covid only medical.

If you book your trip on Emirates before December 1, you get suitable coverage for free, I requested an insurance certificate and used that to get approved for my Thailand pass. Which was approved in three hours. I've heard that Ethihad also does the same and other airlines may too. Check your bank cards too as they may have insurance too.
