The Dental Hospital, Sukhumvit soi 49, just past Villa Supermarket on the opposite side.
It's a little more expensive than dental clinics, but still cheaper than anything in the US and it puts a lot of dentists to shame in the US and Canada: Absolutely first class all the way. The King's dentist runs the place. So, you know it's going to be good.
Excellent service, very Farang-friendly.

Hi all,
I have read a bit on the board about the cheap medical treatment available to farang's in BKK, but very little about dental treatment available.
Anyone know if any good quality, reasonably cheap dental treatment is available and where?
Thanks.

Very interesting. Some of the girls back then didn't look 1/2 bad at all.

Posts: 492hotel room for 300 baht
If someone is wanting to find a 300 baht a night hotel in Pattaya, I would suggest Mr Chan's. It has a/c, western toilet, cable t.v.. It is nothing great, but I stayed there for about a month last year and found it all right. It is between Pattaya and Jomtien, in the same set of buildings as Roof Garden.
I dont remember the exact price but it was about 300 baht a night. It is also an art gallery. The help there was very friendly.
PM me if you want any information. I have their business card with phone number and email address.
Regards Horatio

Guys:
I don't usually post on this board, and restrict my comments to Davao, Philippines, where I live, or to Manila. But I'm here in Bangkok for three days after an absence of about 20 months, and I'm staying in a coop apartment in the Silom Road area, about a 10 minute walk from Patpong, and just off of Convent Road, on Soi Saladaeng. The place is really lovely, and rents for about $80 a night. It's called the Saladaeng Colonnade and it's got studios and one and two bedroom units by the night or the month.
I would recommend it to anyone who is tired of hotels, and wants some more space.

guess it's a question of attitude.
Some people believe to be better (and in this case smarter too) than others.
And instead of helping those "dumb asses" they keep their wisdom for themselves.

Freeler,
Again this is has absoloutely nothing to do with being a social worker ( you thinking of changing your vocation ) but the free flow and exchange of information.
And as traveller points out the intention of the forum. But sir if you think that everyone here is fukken lazy, well then that just about says it all. Anyway you seem to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder.
If you can not post the names of these so called establishments then why bother posting any info at all, its all air. We are not that dumb that we don't know that there are less expensive rooms to be found, but we don't spend huge amounts of time in LOS like you do to beable to find them.

not you but another member mentioned Soi 6.
You don't need to be a social worker to post a location or address.
You would just follow the intention of that forum.
We all know that there is more out there than just the 1.200 Baht rooms. Question is, what you can buy for your bucks and if 350 Baht do really buy you what you are looking for. That might be the case for you, but people differ. So share a bit of your superior knowledge. Just saying that there is more but not helping any further is a waste of bandwith.
Anyway, I repeat, if you don't want to give out any info about the whereabout of these classy rooms, you could still post a couple of pics for us, so we get an idea what we are really talk about. Maybe we loose interest immediately if it doesn't fit in, since most of us are looking for a clean, secure, cheap and nice looking place.

Posts: 1642Did I mention Soi 6 at all?
At least I'm telling people that there is more out there then B1,200 overpriced rooms. If they then are too fukken lazy to out and find them, what can I do?
Take them by their hand and lead them?
I'm not a fukken social worker and that's the end of that.

I second that.
Isn't it the purpose of the forum to share info and to help each other ?
Just saying "walk and look around" doesn't really fit into it.
Anyway, even though you aren't willing to help others to find those great and cheap hotels / rooms, would you please post a few pics so we can judge if the rooms would even come close to what we are looking for.
I once had a look at a couple of rooms at the already mentioned Soi 6. more out of curiosity than of really considering to stay there - except to maybe have a nicer ST room than those at the bars - but all rooms proved to be total crap, dirty and many were already occupied (bugs and roaches).
Without intending to flame you, but I have seen pics that you have mailed to a friend of mine some time ago and those showed rooms I wouldn't even drop my bag. So I doubt the rooms you talk about come any close to what most posters here are looking for.
Posting a few pics would help to determine if we are talking about the same thing.
