I like the breakfast buffet at Casa Pascal, which is on the east side of Second Road, a few meters south of Soi 13/2. There are numerous breakfast buffets in Pattaya, but the one at Casa Pascal is a bit more upscale, with fresh baked goods and made-to-order egg dishes. The dining room is air conditioned and it has a quiet vibe. But you can sit outside if you prefer. Price is 245 baht plus VAT and service charge. That's more than the buffets at, say, the Apex or Lek Hotels. But the food is better and the atmosphere is more refined. The other thing I like about the Casa Pascal breakfast buffet is that it carries over into lunch and runs into early afternoon. So if it's been a long night and you're just getting around to brekkie at 1100 they have you covered.

Two English style sausages.

Two Eggs.

Beans or.

Two Large slices toast.

Tea or coffee plus one refill.

If I remember correctly 120 or 130 (got to be a lost leader).

Terrific quick friendly service.

Extras include black pudding a must for me, hash brown french fries etc for 30 40 Baht.

Also the Irish Wolfhound on Pratumnak 4 is very good.

Yes, Took Lae Dee's are cheap and good. There's also one in the basement of Royal Garden Plaza in Pattaya and in Sukhumvit Soi 5 in Bangkok. Just in case you didn't know.
They are always next to a Foodland supermarket.

I like Loaf Bakery & Cafe on Soi Lenkee. It's offers a very good selection of fresh baked breads and pastries along with savory breakfast items and coffee.

Today I went to Took Lae Dee at Term 21. Extremely clean, bright and modern right next to Foodland. I ate at the counter and watched them cook. B65 breakfast special for 2 fried eggs, toast, 1 bacon strip, juice, and coffee. The cleanliness and air conditioning alone make this place wortth B65.

Is it worth getting a pill cutter people have mentioned (if so, can these be bought in the pharmacy? Or is it easy to break into half without any special device?

Best to get a pill cutter as they are not easy to break. I cut mine into quarters which would be damn near impossible without a pill cutter. Then I scrape off the green coating using a knife.

To use, I put one of the pill quarters into a glass and add water until it is dissoved, then swallow it. Has a bitter taste. Should start working within 15 minutes. The pill cutters should be available in a thai pharmacy.

For some reason, I thought you should not dissolve pills like Sidegra in your mouth, and that they're meant to be absorbed through the stomach (people are not swallowing them only because of the bitter taste). It's entirely possible I've been wrong. Would be nice to cut that startup time.
