CAT is a government Telecom company. It is not well known but they have great Package where you can pay for 1 month or 6 months or a year in one go for a mobile phone SIM card "my" CAT "my 4G". CAT runs the towers so has best reception throughout Thailand.

Various speeds available including 4, 6 , and 8 Mbps.

My girlfriend's brother downloads several full movies a day to his phone. No drop in speed. Great for video watching, e. G. Football replays, etc. Porn no problem. I know he does a lot of that. LOL. Most well known companies detect big downloads and throttle you.

I will get my own CAT card, when this one runs out of the 6 months. I will probably do the great deal to pay once per year. I m using phone hotspot to give Internet to my laptop and doing my work. It is performing better than the home fixed line in remote Thailand.

Many calls per month included I think. More than I could ever use. Mostly we are using Line, Whatsapp etc. , few traditional calls.

I used to get sick of bad internet through AIS, BB, True, etc, whether in hotels, Apartments, in Bangkok, or in the Country.

So far my borrowed CAT SIM is qiving me much better than what I used to. No speed drops!

6 months at 6Mbps no speed reductions is 1800 Baht. 4Mbps is cheaper. Pay for the year and more discount.

There's a question I've been thinking. Please share if you know about it for general knowledge so that everyone knows. How do porn videos like Creampie Thais, Asian street meat, etc. In Thailand can film having sex with ladies? Guys I am finally returning to Thailand after some years and I am looking to rent a place for 3 months. I want to train some Muay Thai and of course enjoy a bit of umm nightlife but I do not want to pay exorbitant foreign prices. Do you guys know of any long term rental places to check outside of airbnb?

Book a place for 1 or maybe 2 nights and then visit places close by or even the place you're in and negotiate for a long-term stay.

I did this in Vientiane when I had a 6-week assignment. I booked a mid-range hotel for 2 nights through Hotels.com and on the first morning of my 2-day stay I spoke to the manager about long-term options. And he dropped 20% off the room rate that I was paying, upgraded me to a better room and threw in free laundry for my entire stay. It turned out to be a great deal and I used it again on 2 other occasions. It shows how much the hotels are gouged by the booking sites for him to do this for me.

The key was the personal approach. It might be less difficult to do on the telephone.

Often the gym that teaches muay thai will have rooms for rent or will have recommendations for cheap hotels. Look on the muay thai website. Phuket has great muay thai gyms. I paid $330 usd for a month when I was there. Found the place on a muay thai website. Pm me if you want more details.

There are plenty of web sites for rental, but I guess if you use English language ones, you will automatically be considered a tourist for a tourist area. I don't think rental rates vary much though between websites in Thai Language and in English (at least for my experience in Bangkok). They just want someone who will pay reliably and not trash the place.

And yeah, there are some times where I want to play the field when I am there. I have a few girls who have mentioned it to me, but I don't really trust them haha. It depends on what you want and where you get her.

You can ask on Thai Friendly for a 'tour guide' and let them know you want them for the full week. If theyre interested, discuss it on the LINE app and make sure they know its a 'complete' deal. Others here may have more info on that.

Other than that, the best way to do it is to get a girl. Hire a freelancer or a gogo girl or beer bar girl. Have sex that night, and if its good, ask her if she'd like to be your 'tour guide' for the week.

Different girls will quote you different prices.
