One classic Thai dish that varies in quality tremendously is Phat Thai (pronounced like Putt Thai, never Pat Thai or worse Pad Thai). Today a cheap shop with tables and with no walls, was horrible. They actually put tomato sauce in it. Now that is just not Phat Thai. Horribly sweet and gluggy. I could make it better myself. Was a convenient location to eat, but quickly struck off the list as having crap food.

I have had 2 x 5 days stays and I still haven't set foot in any tourist traps other than the beer bars and Agogos! Next trip is for 8 days and somehow I think the Crocodile Farm will still be a mystery to me LOL.
