Well no. Because of my limited experience in Thailand (just 1 that too over wechat and no experience at Nana / others). Will be arriving there on Sunday evening so was looking on CG / BP to get a girl for the night rather than exploring BKK after a long journey.

Man get your lazy ass out and explore the place. You act like you are the one that will be flying the plane. You will be sitting there relaxing during the long journey. So unless you need a break from a break go see what the place has to offer instead of bullshitting around with websites and apps.

Found 3 options to my liking and connected with them to see if they are available for Sunday incall.

1 turned out to be an SP who quoted exhorbitant prices (said all his ladies were high end models LOL) and hence declined.

1 girl is yet to respond.

The 3rd one (over Wechat) was smooth asking all details and telling prices until she asked my nationality and then blocked me, in spite of telling her that I would be staying in a 5 star hotel (to let her not think that I would be thrifty).

Well let us see how the other girl reacts.

Strange enough, I found ladies in Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam to be very friendly. While there were 1 or 2 ads on BP / CG which said no to browns (which I anyways did not get in touch with), remaining 98 did not have any such disclaimer. Of those I reached, while they asked my nationality, however maybe it was the way I conversed or my hotel which gave them comfort. Just had 1 experience in Thailand given my overnight stay which involved just a lovely massage from one of the most beautiful and charming ladies I ever met, which eventually led to a breakfast together next day, I would be keen to explore much more this time around when I have more time to spend.

A quick look back at a few pages on this forum would reveal to you why Indian's are not liked in BKK and quite a few other places. You don't need people here going over old ground and potentially inflaming things. It won't take you long to find the reasons.

I was told point blank that Indies cite a million reasons after the session to pay less. Or haggle at the end of the session even though everything went alright.

One of the girls said many guys take one girl and start negotiating with her to bang multiple guys at a discount.

I guess I can go on and on but sure you get the point.

PA my friend, I suspect you will get better information from the Indian brothers. You might find a teacher willing to take a padawan. But share the information with us if you can.

At the places I frequent, bars and spas, there are Indians, blacks and Middle Eastern occasionally I don't stick around to check it out. Some of the ME guys I know have no problems with regular places because they are based in Asia and know how things work better than I. And I mean angles and girls.

As Styker suggested RTFF. And most will admit WGs do turn people down, for whatever reason.

After all, a WG that suspects you of scam would not provide best service, even if you are different from rest of the crowd. Hence the idea was to listen from some of the members here itself of what kind of scams they are talking about.

I never had any issues with Service just because I paid upfront. May be I was just lucky but being friendy and polite and clean goes a long way as well. Understand upfront full payment it is a cardinal sin in mongering but you don't have much choice here with establishments very firm about it when it comes to Indies.

I didn't try any FLs so no clue whether they follow the same rules or not. May be you can tell us after your visit.

There's always a cheap one way ticket to somewhere just outside of Thailand in the $40 price range for a departure in 30 days. Saigon and Singapore are always dirt cheap. $40 is worth wasting if it gets you out of a jam.

Or you could always buy a refundable ticket!

I post this so others can see what might happen when traveling here. Things worked out okay for me, but it was stressful. Maybe others here can point out how I could have faired better. Anyway this is just my experience for what it's worth.

I suddenly see a spurge of posts pointing Indians out. Confused on what scams they have done to be singled out? Did not experience any such thing in other SE Asian countries but Thailand seems to be different?

I tried to get a lady from Craigslist to meet with me and she asked which hotel I was staying. When I told her Ambassador she didn't show up. When I texted her and asked why she didn't show up, she said you are Indian and I know your tricks, I replied that I was not Indian and she didn't reply back.

Don't stay in Hotels that are primarily Indian, Sri Lankan, Bangladesh etc. To bad because I actually like the Ambassador. I get a tower room on a high floor with a city view and the buffet breakfast is one the best, especially if you like Indian food. 55555.

Unfortunately, there have been too many BS scams pulled by Indians, Arabs and Africans so the girls don't trust them. I feel bad for the guys from those areas who are good guys, but the fact is that there are a lot of bad apples in those particular barrels.

RL, I like Indian food too but some of the premises dominated by and catering to Indians do smell of curry in the hallways too! Too much for me. In fact, some of the hotels / service apartments I have stayed at over the decades are owned or sometimes catering to the Indian business travellers. It is an interesting change in demographics.

I am with Smoothy on expanding the list. Have seen many ladies get stung by the group. I guess it helps to be smooth talker. But then again, those girls or girls in general are not the sharpest.

This may sound stupid but I'm wondering if pre-mix Canadian Club with Dry is available readily in Pattaya and Bangkok? It is popular here in Australia and I find it better to drink in the heat instead of beer.

I have been in Thailand 5 months. I left once to Malaysia on a visa run. I kept all my visas up to date. I left Thailand a few days before the last visa expired. I went to Cambodia, with the plan to go to Vientiane Laos after leaving there. I changed my mind about Laos and did not enjoy Cambodia so headed back to Thailand.

Going through the reentry line I was pulled aside by the man who stamps the reentry visa and sent to talk to another guy. He seemed concerned that I had been in Thailand for 5 months and wanted to know when I was leaving. I told him I would leave within the month and pointed out I had followed all the visa rules previously. He asked to see my tickets showing I was leaving. I did not have any. He told me to go to the internet cafe there and buy one. I argued politely, that buying a ticket that way would be expensive as I would not be able to price shop in a short amount of time. I am leaving to go back to usa and tickets prices are all over the place.

He had asked me to show him money that I could afford to stay in thailand. I only had $200 USD and 500 thai baht, but showed him debit cards and told him they had $3000 and $4000 on them. Eventually he stamped my visa giving me another month. I was with him 15 to 30 minutes, or so it seemed. .

You could just buy a refundable ticket and refund it after you get past immigration.

I read up on what you went through when looking up Thailand visa requirements. The site I read claimed you needed a return ticket, and 300 $ cash (10 k baht) to be allowed entry else Thailand wouldn't let you enter. I assumed it was to avoid people trying to enter as a refugee attempt.
