Thanks guys! These visa rules seem to change quite a lot.

Actually I think you have been around. I believe we reincarnate as mongers time after time.
Or was it a wet dream?

There is certainly a valid school of thought about the over use of soap in modern times. After all, we survived and evolved over hundreds of thousands of years without soap, shampoo, anti-perspirant and even hot water.

But I do agree with you about Thai girls going at their vaginas with soap. Not generally good chemistry. The body already does a very good job of cleansing itself when it comes to that particular input. That survival/evolution thing again. If anything, some women with funky smelling vaginas might actually be creating that problem by introducing too many soapy chemicals into it.

Apparently the 90 day rule does not apply. I found the following update from 27 Nov 2017. After 6 visas in one year you may be questioned about your trips and it confirms the 2 land crossing a year.

Unless using a new one every time, washcloths and bath sponges are really bad. A lot of bacteria can build up on those between showers.

"Foreigners who enter the Kingdom under the Tourist Visa Exemption Scheme may re-enter and stay in Thailand for a cumulative duration of stay of not exceeding 90 days within any 6-month period from the date of first entry. "

However this 'within any 6-month period from the date of first entry' has always puzzled me.
This year I have been in Thailand in June, July, August and November for a total of 72 days.
If I go back in January will they restart counting because it's a new year? Will it be considered as a new 'first entry'?
Or will they look back 6 months and include the number of days I stayed there in August and November?
This is out dated from 2014 and was only enforced for a short period of time. I've been here 120 days with a two week break in between no problem. I should get the retirement Visa but it's a real hassle with the income verification process which is sad cause I'd stay longer without this issue. That said pretty sure they don't reset at the new year but use your travel dates.

If you want the real answers go to thaivisa.com. From what I have read there is no limit to visa on arrival by air transport. That does not mean they will not question you. As for getting tourist visas at embassies, same answer. No written law about limits. They do have some detailed requirements like proof of finances, onward travel out of Thailand, proof of hotel booking etc etc etc etc etc etc. These requirements vary from embassy to embassy and still when you arrive you might get some questions. But pretty unusual to get turned away. Also when you stamp in with 30 days you can extend that by 30 days by going to immigration and paying I think 1,900 baht. Take 2 passport pics with you.

I believe it's pretty discretionary on the part of the immigration officials. It's basically to stop people effectively living in Bangkok and just doing visa runs to stay legal. As I said, I've been to Thailand around 6 or 7 times this year without a problem, but they have been really short trips. It's clear I'm not lving there. I did get asked once how long I was staying for, it was only 10 hours that trip.

There is also a rule that you cannot have more than 2 visa free entries if you cross a land border. I've been told this by many people but haven't crossed myself. This is widely reported on other forums for expats living in Laos who cross over regularly to shop. I don't have any sources but this was discussed somewhere on this forum earlier in the year and the first person who mentioned it did give the source.

Again, this is just for the government to get rid of people living there without proper paperwork.

But showering does no good if the person insists on wearing the same shirt he wore and perspired in at a previous time without first laundering it. So, guys, shower with soap and water every day and wear those shirts only ONCE before laundering. Re-wearing shorts or trousers a second time is not as much a no-no but I wouldn't recommend doing that very often either.
And never, ever eat Indian food.

Ugh I'm brown and the fact we have to have this kind of conversation on how to be a normal clean human being is ridiculous. Agreed with all the other folks in this thread on how 90% of brown people act. I avoid hard core even in the US since there's a heavy chance they are socially awkward, have bad hygiene, are clingy because they see a fellow brown person, or are just unnecessarily arrogant / cheap.

Good to know about the tips that brown people's rep is known in Thailand and I should overindex on avoiding fulfilling any of the stereotypes.

I finally locked in my tickets. I'll be going to Thailand flying into Bangkok at the beginning of February on the 8th and staying there for a week til the 15th when I fly to India for a wedding before flying back to San Francisco via Hong Kong with a nice two day stopover.

I'm trying to figure out how I should split my week in Thailand. How many days are recommended between Bangkok vs Phuket or pattaya. I usually monger a lot and do lots of sessions. In previous trips to Germany I fucked 22 women in 20 sessions in a week with initial days being like 5/6 sessions daily and then tapering off.

While in Thailand I'm looking forward to food, maybe some time on beaches, escorts (I always dig a good guaranteed experience and the rates for 6-24 hour escorts are uber cheap imo), barfining (probably try beer bars and gogos both), maybe hit up some clubs for dancing, soapies since I've never tried it, and just whatever debauchery and depraved experiences I can find. Also love drinking and smoking though I'll try and balance this since it fucks with libido and I know drugs in Thailand are uber sketch.

I've mongered in German FKK, Montreal and London agencies, tijuana recently, heard amazing things about Thailand and I love Asian girls in general. Big fan of kink (Greek, domination giving, role play, threesomes etc), as well as the idea of a huge that extends through a day trip with a Girl if I like her a lot.

I don't know difference between Phuket and Pattaya beyond Pattaya is huge for sex industry so I hear, though Bangkok seems like more commercial as a city and better escort agencies but probably more competition too.

Hotels wise it sounds like just picking a hotel from other thread near nana and cowboy is probably fine for Bangkok? Still researching pattaya.

Since when is a cheap thing like a deodorant better than a designer brand product like a perfume? Or do you mean an antiperspirant? I can see the point of the latter.

Just because of these problem at some places we are getting bad name.

IN short if you are well dressed urban guy, who can spend required amount of money, they will pamper you.

Well government can't issue these sort of advisory.
