I had a friend that was on the regiment and his red blood count rose higher and the clinic had him stop taking the shots and off the program. I guess this is a side effect that can happen on the drug. I have not heard of any other side effects, and there are a lot of men in Honolulu on this program.

Anastrozole inhibits testosterone from converting to estradiol or estrogen. I had same experience wasn't working gave some blood at red cross took care of it later they made a small increase in dosage and that did the trick. As my etradiol level was too high.

This is just wrong.

Red cell count has minimal to no effect on the blood's readiness and ability to clot. Proteins in the blood plasma and platelets are responsible for blood coagulation (clotting).

If someone is testing your red cell count and telling you it gives them an indication of your blood clotting ability then they are having you on. How are they going to reduce your red cell count and keep it below a certain level? Open a vein perhaps.

As far as blood clots they test for the red blood count and keep it below a certian level your ok, of course the press neglects to mention this. Anyhow, I'd definitely get your levels checked no harm in that. I was very surprised at how low mine were.
