Most easy and secure way to get a room is to go through a website such as agoda.com or booking.com.

I booked a room at VT6 through booking.com site recently. It was a TGTBT price so I went for it to bring home some BR girls. Get to the address listed on booking.com and was told not the right unit number. Call booking.com and they say it's the right unit number. After wasting an hour booking.com did refund me but be careful since you may not have a room when you arrive. Luckily I live here and was only looking for a LT room.

Will stick with hotels.com.

I never had any problem when using their services. Agoda.com may seem a bit cheaper than booking.com but that is probably because they do not include the 17% sales tax in their prices, so be careful when comparing.

I am a bit skeptical that they will replace my Sagamis. At. 045 mm they are twice a thick as my go to. 02's. But you'll never know unless you try.

Sagamis are all very well but they need to make a larger size for Westerners. I bought their 'large' size and they don't fit.

In other news, I have a bunch of Sagami condoms to give away if anybody is interested?

Yes I have eaten a burger at Clubhouse Grill too....The place opposite is called Whisgars and the Restaurant part is called Craft I believe. I once met the probable head chef of Craft, before it opened, who was dining in Bradman's Sports Bar at the time. He was pretty confident his restaurant was going to be very special quality, but I haven't tried. I assumed the price would be higher.

A couple of weeks back I tried the burgers at this place. Fine tasting bacon / cheese burger with fries. The 2 craft beers I tried were nice tasting but way overpriced and delivered in ridiculously small quantity for the price paid. One was not enough to wash down the food (maybe by design, but certainly not designed to get a repeat customer). Clubhouse is good and better value. Must try Bradmans next.

Walking Street is not really the "bar area" of Pattaya. It is mainly discos and agogo clubs. If you want to pick-up someone from a bar, Soi 6 is a good place to start. I cannot tell you anything useful about discos as I cannot stand the dreadful sound levels they pump out. You will find reports on the discos and clubs in the Pattaya Reports forum.

Mongering is not really compatible with hooking up with Hotel Receptionist in a classy Hotel. You don't have much show of hooking up with them, assuming they are top quality.

They can be very choosy about your class, nationality, amount of money etc.

In a low class Hotel maybe. You did ask about cheap Hotels.

You have to consider that a non P4 P girl won't want to be seen with a probable monger Farang in Pattaya other than she will take you to some place where she can get a commission from the house, e. G. Restaurant or disco.

But only where you are in public view. She won't go to your room.

Putting things back into perspective, the Cowboy burger stand is going to cost you $5 for a pretty good burger. A large (too large for me) pretty good quality steak can be had else where for $25 (e. G. Bradman's). A smaller one for much less. A wouldn't waste $100 on a steak, I would rather waste it on girls. LOL.

I heard good things about Firehouse and wanted to try it one hot late afternoon, but it is a small restaurant and the only available seating at that moment was outside so I passed on it. I will give it a try sooner or later. The burgers looked good.

Whisgars / Craft has another location on the corner of Silom and Surasak. I passed by it one afternoon and smiled. The branch on Soi 23 is very popular. I like a good craft beer as much as anybody. My current favorite brew is Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA. A really tasty brew. I wonder if it is available in BKK. Kind of doubt it.

El Gaucho; I have walked past the place so many times. Sounds like it is the real deal, but $100 for a steak, yikes, that's more expensive than the Capital Grill back home. Does it come with parmesan truffle fries or at least an empanada on the side. 555. Thanks for the tip.

Oskar's Bistro has a pretty tasty cheeseburger served up with hand cut fries and as a bonus you can check out some of the well dressed FL's while you are there. Ha Ha. Additionally I am sure many of the classy 5* hotel restaurants will serve up a quality burger too. The worst burger I have ever tried was the MOS Burger in Central World. What an abomination. You got to love the Japanese, not.

Completely agree with the suggestions made by Natty, Syzy and Asian Rain. Not tried Craft / Whisgars.

But if there ever was a good expensive steak in BKK it has to be El Gaucho. Argentinian pampa grass fed cuts. MAn, I can't wait to sink my teeth into a filet mignon! Slurrppp.

And the ribs, chorizo and other stuff are great too. Definitely on the expensive side. And they make a mean Capirinha with plenty of cachacha.

Agreed, but damn 100 USD for a steak is really pricey. Empanadas excellent as well. Good budget steak try Colors Cafe near W District Phrakanong.

Chef's at Bradmans are Thai of course but well trained in Western food.

Chefs at @corner bar Burger Stand are from Myanmar most likely. They don't speak Thai as well as I do. However they do a good job. They know exactly how I want it.

The Nana Plaza Burger Stand have very inferior burgers. I suggest do not take one from there. Really crap meat. Is it even beef? The colour is light. Full of fillers?

Burgers- Burgers and Bangers on the sub-soi right before Suk Soi 20 or Chunky Soi 23 turn right after Craft.

Craft is very expensive. Want some good craft beer? Hit Wishbeer on Suk 67 for happy hour. 200 baht pints of Euro and US beer.
