First, You need to check with Thai Visa or the Thai embassy in your home country.
The answer to many of your questions are Yes. Yes, you must be tested twice on day of arrival and day 5. Both most be arranged through a designated hotel approved by Thai Government (SHA). You have to stay at this hotel on Day 1, and again on Day 5. You must have Covid insurance at your expense. You have to allow your whereabouts to be tracked on your phone between those two testing dates, if you elect to stay elsewhere in the interim days. You must have a PCR test and be negative prior to departing from your own country. If you test positive on either day, woe is you because you may find yourself in a hospital or a field hospitel for 10 days quarantine, the latter accommodations are mainly converted formerly dodgy hotels.
Why anyone would submit themselves to these conditions are beyond me. Good luck but you have some work to do.

Posts: 220Positive Covid with valid Recovery Certificate
Hello,
I want to travel to Thailand as part of the Test & Go but I am still Covid positive (Sars Cov2 detected) after 18 days.
I now have a valid European Recovery Certificate.
For those who have had this experience or who are sufficiently informed, would you have the answers to the following questions:
1 - Is this Recovery Certificate well recognized at Phuket and Suvarnabhumi airports?
2 - Do I still have to do a Covid test on arrival? Do I have to do quarantine if I'm still positive?
3 - Do you know hotels that refuse the registration of positive people with a Certificate of Recovery?
4 - Should a PCR test also be done on the 5th day? Do I have to do quarantine if I'm still positive?
Thank you for your answers.
Best regards.

Be sure to have the list of documents ready before you submit the application, to ensure a fast and smooth process.
Got mine approved and issue the next business day after submitting the documents in person.

A question to the Forum travelers who have planned and stayed in Thailand for 35 days instead of the 30 days granted to US passport holders. I have been to Thailand multiple times but have never had the luxury to stay for longer than 10 days or so, now retired, everyday is a Saturday. Thanks in advance of your experiences, and possible procedures. I do know where Immigration is in Jomtien near where I will be staying but it would be nice to get it over and done with in advance if possible.

Many people advise not to barfine a lady for more than 3 days, which is generally good advice. Two reasons for this: first, their attitudes generally get shittier the longer they are with you. Secondly, some pull the "I'm your girlfriend " crap after a day or two.
I have a hypothesis about this, which you guys can test: I believe that if the lady lives in a room above the bar, her attitude will be good for 3 days, and maybe longer. Unless she has a generally crappy attitude, nothing can help that. Why does it matter if she lives in a room in the bar? If she is paying money for her own room, it means she has a Thai boyfriend she lives with, and she starts to miss him pretty quickly.
Of course, there are exceptions to every rule.
As for the "I'm your girlfriend " crap, just ignore it.

"While it's true that marijuana is semi-legal in Cambodia, the exceptions to the laws against marijuana possession apply only to Cambodians, who are allowed to grow a few plants for cooking the herb is traditionally used in Khmer cuisine. The marijuana quality in Cambodia is quite poor compared to what's grown in the West, but it's undeniably cheap. Foreigners are rarely prosecuted for small amounts of marijuana, but expect to pay a few bribes if you do get caught "
