Now back to Macau: I think Macau is great, but don't take my word for it. Macau is 3 hours away from BKK. Go there. Spend 3 or 4 days and check it out. It will never replace BKK, but I think you will like it. My M. O. Is to spend roughly 3 weeks in BKK. 4 days in Pattaya, and 5 days in Macau per trip.

I wish I had some pictures of my Macau Sauna girls for the memory books and to post here on the forum. But unlike BKK Soapy's, it is very hard to take pictures inside the private rooms at the Saunas. I read that Thailand requires your passport to be good for 6 months after your entry date. My passport is set to expire 6 months and 2 weeks before my planned trip, will that be an issue? Should I renew the passport before the trip or just point out the extra 2 weeks if they bring it up?

Don't chance it. That's my advice. I was in the same situation when I was about to book my ticket to Thailand, and after doing much research I decided to just renew my passport. What you need to remember is that you're entering another country. Their rules, their ways. And it is not always going to be consistent, so why take a chance? Is it really worth it to face a situation where you could be told. No you cannot enter, too close to the 6 month mark. Time to turn back and deal with headaches?

Renew the passport, enjoy your travel to LOS. It is amazing.

Angeles City. A small dirty wild west like place with a few blocks full of hooker bars in 3rd world Philippine Islands.
