Haha, I genuinely apologise for subjecting you to his nonsense. I contemplated ignoring him too, like lots of people have done it seems, but the problem is that newcomers might actually believe some of the stuff he comes out with. For example a few weeks ago a first-timer researching his cherry trip left a comment that he was sad to hear that Bangkok is so bad these days, all because of a spate of Harold's hilariously inaccurate reports the preceding two or three days. Senior members can ignore him but newcomers can't.

My calculation is for example. Out of every 1000 customers walking the door and buy a drink. 150 will barfine. I'm really just guessing.

If am the bar owner I'd be delighted to have such a rate of 500 customer in a night, buy a drink and 75 leave with a girl under their arms, when the workforce is appr 100. See? I even cut your number by 50% and keep the same percentage. To show that percentage sometime is irrelevant. Would not you be happy to sell 500 beers in a night? Don't overestimate the statements about bars or MP's or KTV having 2/300 girls. That might count the whole workforce available during a month. But not all of them are showing up every single night or work day.

I noticed this in China (or Asians) KTV where the mamasan, there are 3-4, comes up with her lineup of 6-8 girls at a time. After the 3rd-4th line up, you start to see some you have already seen, mixed in the crowd. That means each might have some 25/30 girls at hands. At the best.

Look at it this way, Pink: The Thai tax authorities have to know that of the tens, if not hundreds of thousands of foreign expats living in Thailand, all of them are required to bring in to the country at least 800, 000 Thai Baht every year in order to extend their retirement visas; almost all of it from their home country pensions.
