Gotta love Air Asia....you get what you pay for (basically a seat and a small one at that) but Melbourne - Bkk return for AUD$220, you cant complain.

I find these one of the best.

They have one clinic on Sukhumvit Soi 21, not far away from Soi Cowboy.

    Another one is at Ploenchit.

Search for Dental White. I have posted about them many times to answer peoples questions like this. If not then PM me and I'll fill you on about them over on Suk Soi 22.

Dentists are like FLs, they are all over Thailand and cheap and efficient. However, I've never use one in Bangkok. I like the informal feel of Pattaya Dentists where you can walk in and get same day or next day service from many of them.

    BKK Golf

Thanks, I’m familiar with the Phuket courses but I’m staying in BKK.

The only BKK track I’ve seen is the one around the Horse/Dog track/Soccer field that can be seen from the Skytrain, maybe the Royal Thai Golf Club or something but doesn’t look like much. Anyone know of something else descent? (traffic not withstanding)

    Thanks,
    RJSSS212

Look, it's very easy to make condescending remarks, but this series of exchanges started with a report about the King's ill-health and naturally gravitated to other points, in the way conversations sometimes do. I haven't excessively prolonged the discussion, and if I wanted to have a big debate I would hold it in the suggested thread. But sometimes you just have to go with the conversational flow, and I'm sure you can skip over a few posts that don't interest you. Let's not be too anal about this; we really don't want too many forum police

I see the next few posts are about golf course, exchange rates and f***ing ATMs again. Don't interest me so I don't read 'em.

    Reply to RJSSS212 Golf Courses

There are some in BKK that are good, the major problem is getting to them as traffic is so bad. I go to Pattaya, 140km south, on the bay of Thailand. There are about 25 championship courses within 40 km radius. Not all spectacular but many are as good as you will find anywhere. All are within 45 or so minutes of central Pattaya. Fabian at Thi ger golf is great, they go in vans form his store to about 3 different courses each day, sign up the day before.

His website is thigerlinegolf.com. He is a good operator and will not let you down. Courses I strongly suggest are St Andrews 2000, Leam Chebong, Khaokheow and almost right in town Phoenix. Feel free to ask any questions.

    Rjsss212,

The courses around BKK is expensive and not that good.

    Go to Phuket.

    The courses there are cheap.

Most are ocean view and nice.

The cost is around 40 USD with golf cart.

Usually you'll get a few more cents in private cambios than the banks but there are not so many nowdays. I don't bother since there are bank cambios in every corner. Bring unspoiled 50s or 100s only for the best rate. Lower rate for the rest of them.

You can also use ATM's. There are all over the place.

By the way I exchanged euros today at 48,78875. Dollar was 33,09.
