The part that you are missing is that Club Romance is a bar in Hong Kong , while I and others were asking about a place in Bangkok with girls who have model looks and who offer the same services as the Eden Club in BKK. My question came in response to the following from the same post from HK Dog as you quote:

Went to Poseidon tonight. As previous reports indicated, it is a very large building with multiple floors for your entertainment. First floor is for KTV and talking with girls. Second floor has a big fish bowl full of women for you to pick, priced at either 2000 or 2500 baht for 2 hours. Third floor has more upscale women, priced at 2900, 3500, 4500, or 5500 (approximately) for 1.5 hours.

I was on the third floor. I had some tea while I watched the lovelies before I picked. In the end I went with two girls one after the other. First the girl washes you in a bathtub, then it's on with the show in bed. The girls seem to be open to the customer's requests, but if you don't request anything in the beginning they'll probably just do something to make it over quickly and then fall asleep.

Siam Niramit is a cultural and entertainment complex in Bangkok. Here's the link to the Website,( Siam Niramit), so I won't describe it in detail. The high point is a spectacular 80-minute stageshow at 8.00 p.m. every night that features 150 performers, including two elephants, several goats and some chickens.The show is based on Thai history and culture presented in a popular and entertaining manner. The standard of the production is very high, equivalent to anything you'll see in London or New York. Performers fly very convincingly at dizzying heights and a river, with real water, runs on stage. There'are some very effective pyrotechnic effects as well. You won't be bored. There's nothing dry or dull about the show.

I was refering to Livingstones as a whole setup, as a package which I consider as an ideal package for me where service and price matches. Where else in Bangkok can you have a more resort style environment in the entertainment location and dedicated to our hobby. I agree that for me the base barfine of 1500 is on the high side as well and a bit out of balance of the otherwise well set price structure (I also don't buy Giottos arg. that this is the Soi33 environment, as other establishments show lower rates too).
However you find a nice setup of girls there, not neccessarily stunners only, but nice girls to be with and the chance of a desaster is rather low, independent of YMMV depending on you. But still if you feel it is way too much, it is an optional package and not a must to choose from the girls in house. If too expensive you can still enjoy the unbeatable environment and choose your girl wherever you want from.

I often go to Bangkok, for business, and, when I go out alone, I mostly go to Soi Cowboy, but do not go to bars as often as I use to (if you are fed everyday with caviar, at one point of time .....). I mostly call a few girls that I know, for a dinner and a movie (and the usual shopping !).

Yes. Charging people 1500B barfine is a sign of a good business model......but for the establishment.

I know that girl that used to work in Soi Cowboy and recently moved to one of these clubs for Japanese. She told me that the girls there are much better looking than the ones in Soi Cowboy.

The card of the club was only in Japanese (besides the name) and 2 telephone numbers were listed (02-381-2775 & 02-381-2428). I think that the club is fairly new.
I could not find it on Google. It seems that "Ekkamai" is the name for Sukhumvit Soi 63, but I am not sure that the club is actually there.

Does any one know that club?

In May, my wife traveled to Bangkok with me for the first time. I was a little nervous (running into "old friends" etc. But no way to avoid the trip as it was coupled with a swing through Asia.

If you are talking about Sazanka I thought the place was overated. Had to take too many trips in and out of the room, walked up the stairs with a towel around my ass twice.
