This makes zero sense. There are no new people in Pattaya. The few people that are here now have been here for some time. And besides that, most of them are not driving cars and motorbikes. They are walking and taking baht buses.

Many agogo girls I have taken to hotel say "Yes, I want to go to the beach with you tomorrow. Or to Koh Larn" So I send a message to them. At 12.00, 13.00, 14.00 etc. No answer. I get frustrated and go the destination alone. After I get back from my trip at 18.00-19.00 I get a message from these girls "I just woke up.

Well they are telling the truth. There is no gogo chick in Pattaya that wakes up at 12,13, or 14. If you go to the market at 1700 you will see them in their pajamas coming to get food, having just waken up. It will NEVER work out the way you are trying to do things. If you want them to go to the beach with you the next day then you need to have them stay with you the night before.

The girl that I am with now went to sleep (2300) hours before I did (0300) last night. She has received plenty of messages since. It is now 1000. You think she has awaken to see that shit? No. And we planned to go to the beach today as well. I had her bring her things when she came last night. You just have to tweak your strategy.

Basically, these checkpoints are position to lock down the people living in town allowing more travel on Sukhumvit.

He's covered for now until 30th April as his 60 days ends after the March cut-off. Depending upon what happens (and remember that a lot has happened in the last 3 weeks or so) either they will move the date to later or or they won't and going to immigration will be a valid reason for entry into fortress Pattaya.

Just to spoke to my cousin, he said he has no intention of going down to Immigration Jomtien for whatever reason especially standing in line in the hot sun! His reschedule flight is for May 5th, said he was planning to pay any fine if requested at Immigration when leaving that was prior to receiving a phone call from the Station manager of Eva at the airport apologizing for the mistake sending out a false confirmation of the departure on the day he departs the manager will make sure of his check-in and assist him through immigration to ensure there are no problems if they don't move back the date again? I guess when you don't travel the economy class route you are entitle to some special treatment?

Supposedly he is an exception he came Feb 10th, with a sixty day visa expires the 12th Sunday the new mandate doesn't seem to cover him? He isn't scheduled out now until the 5th of May

Because last night there were so many traffic jams because of the barriers that people could not make it home before the curfew.

No need to go to immigration. The prime minister signed that all foreigners whose visa was to expire March 26 or after gets automatic extension until April 30. Sucks for me because I went on April 2 and paid 1900 baht for my extension.

These guys are a work of art at times! Ten years ago they build a new road parallel to the trains tracks, today you see 2 lanes in each direction when it was built it was 1 lane each direction it didn't make sense since people were turning the wrong way and driving down the wrong side. Then they decided to put in signal lights at all the intersections at a cost of 50 million baht, the first day they turn it on, traffic was at a standstill backed up for hours, then again when the tunnel on Sukhumvit was being built they came up with all these hair brain ideas how to divert traffic. Sadly I've seen Chinese fire drills glad I wasn't around last night!

Now I was back on the Darkside, using road I called " The railroad Tracks " which is parallel to Sukhumvit on Nernpludwan barriers all gone allowing vehicles to get to Sukhumvit and then enter Pattaya Klang, Khao Noi, same barriers all gone, now Khao Talo, this is Mr. E. photo barriers all gone!

The email was never supposed to have been sent out his 60 day Visa expires on the 12th of April since he arrived before March 1st now must report to Immigration to obtain another 30 days!

The lockdown is real. I just tried to take my LT from last night home to Khao Talo and they had it blocked off with concrete barriers at the railroad tracks. She walked across and a motorbike taxi picked her up on the other side.

After near 20 hours on the road driving up to the country and returning back with the family this morning, I needed a power nap, I woke up at 2 pm and got a call from my brother filling me in on what happened earlier but let's save that for later.

Needing some fresh air I told the wife going out on the bike to cruise and buy some water filters to see for myself first hand these so-call checkpoints. Since I'm on the Darkside I needed to start at the first point, since my filter store is down that way. As I got closer to Sukhumvit I was thinking where is all the traffic as I got closer I could see the checkpoint tent slow down abandon empty no one in sight. Got to Sukhumvit made my left continue south to Soi Siam Country made a left to checkpoint Two, tent abandon no one in sight! Now my brother's story!

My cousin original flight was scheduled for March 25th, it got canceled and rescheduled for today the 10th of April, he tried Eva all last week to confirm whether he was going today but all they had was a recording. On the 8th of April, he received an email confirmation from EVA that his flight schedule and confirm back to San Francisco for the 10th, leaving at 12:20 pm. My brother decided to drive him to the airport, with all the restrictions he arms himself with house book, passport, etc. Pick him up at 8 am after he checked out of his resort. Once at the airport dropped him off, at Gate 8, which was open a good sign my brother continue back on Hwy 7, back to Pattaya just as he got past the toll booth cousin called and said they fuck up that there was no flight to San Francisco and reschedule him again for May 5th?

This covid thing seems to be working out in my favor. I have chicks that usually want money wanting to come over for free simply because they are bored.

Pretty much the same for me in Bangkok. I got 2-3 DMs asking just to hang out. Only met one so far. Just being cautious of who I meet, doesn't really matter though, but just for peace of mind.

However the high end ones are still charging crazy fee. One of my Ukrainian contact still asking for 6 k for 2 hours. I don't mind giving her 6 k on typical days, considering she's 9 in my books. But I want to wait and see if her prices come down or she's getting enough business even now to keep the prices same.

Some days ago I complained about the abysmal quality on Beach Road / Hobbit Street.

Yesterday during my evening constitutional I came across a girl who looked marginally better than the Beach Road ordinary. She took my line ID and messaged me late at night. The deal was for her to come today at 2 pm.

Her asking price was 700. Maybe this was too cheap to be true and should have made me sit up and take noticed. This morning at 9 she sent me a short message, so I thought so far so good.

As an aside what puzzles me are the stats on infections and fatalities here. If accurate we are living in arguably one of the safest countries in the world but are we. Hope so.

I mentioned in the Bangkok Reports thread that I had the occasion to visit a GF in the ER of Sukhumvit Hospital last Saturday afternoon.

I half expected an ER at a high profile hospital like that one near Ekkamai and a doable walking distance from Asian and Farang expat and long term visitor neighborhoods to be teaming with Covid-19 patients with their worried friends and next of kin occupying every seat in the waiting room.

Nothing like it. I sailed right in. The parking lot was not even 1/4 full. There were no more than 5 people in the ER and the main waiting room area combined. The GF I went to be with was possibly the only person waiting for a Covid-19 test result and hers turned out not to be Covid-19 but ordinary influenza instead.

And it must have been an extremely mild case of the flu at that. She was sending me video clips from.her condo on Line of herself giggling, dancing and shaking her butt that same evening.
