I guess it's more appropriate to call the 400 Baht fee a barfine fee. But whenever I ask they always say room fee and not barfine fee.

But room fee is incorrect. They never clean the room nor change the sheets. Only fresh towels are provided.

The 400 baht fee includes 50 baht commission for the girl. (So bar 350, girl 50).

So for accounting purposes, if you take 5 girls upstairs, then they will charge you 2,000 baht for using one room.

The 50 Baht has to come from somewhere because the bar keeps 350 Baht.

I don't agree with it. But that's how they operate.

This girl is a model. So her daily salary is higher at 1,600 Baht. She worked 26 days and needed to get 156 drinks for the duration. (Oct. 14 through Nov. 08).

On Nov. 4th, she received an advance salary of 3,000 Baht in order to buy medicine for her sick buffalo back home.

She is also an unreliable girl because she is often late for work. (Fined 1,060 Baht for lateness).

I do not think that she was barfined on Nov. 8th. I believe she paid her own barfine of 2,000 baht and went home to rest.

She received zero drinks that day. (Her last day of contract).

She received 43,460 Baht after working 26 days.

Then she took 5 days off and came back to work on Nov. 14th to rejoin the rat race.

A total professional. She is never late and never absent. Probably does only drinks because she is never barfined.

She received 35,400 Baht for the 20 days.

A very lazy and unreliable girl.

Comes late often and she didn't come to work on Jan. 4, 8, and 9. So she had to pay her own barfine of 1,500 Baht for those days.

It's possible she went to a customer on those days and the guy gave her the barfine money as well.

But considering that she is lazy, I'm thinking, for the last two days, she said fuck it and just stayed home or went partying.

In the end, she got paid 33,380 Baht for the 20 days. That does not include the money she received directly from the customers after barfine.

So it makes little difference to her. (Paying her own barfine for the last two days).

Pro tip: at the end of the month, some ladies have to pay rent for the next month. Of course, they haven't saved any money, so its a good time to negotiate harder with them before going to the room.

I asked her why she was there when I saw her in Soi 6 earlier and she said that she had quit the Soi 6 bar and just started at XS. Guess she found out that she was working in the wrong venue. Asked her what her salary at XS was and she said 1200 baht but she had to get 5 lady drinks to get the full salary or her salary would be cut for each drink she was short of 5 drinks. Said barfine was 1500 baht. Didn't barfine her since I wasn't going to pay more than triple what I paid the day before (assuming the standard 3000 baht gogo girl short-time rate).

She was cuter than most of the other XS girls so you can find some good-looking girls in Soi 6 if you look hard enough.

This rundown of WS agogo payment method actually makes sense. If the girl don't get one drink to cover anything she probably get nada, zilch, etc. There is no way in San Josea businessman is going to pay a girl for doing nothing.

From my observation a lot of girls leave empty handed. No offense.

Was initially quoted 800 THB for downstairs in-the-bar BJ but countered with 500 THB (which was the previous going rate at Pandora's). Ended up paying a little more because I tipped her for good service and a good, fun time. At one point she asked me if I wanted FS upstairs in one of their rooms for 1,500 THB but I declined. If you do decide to go the FS route then try to negotiate, as my sense is they'll settle for 1,000 THB or slightly higher (standard Soi 6 price for what I would characterize as standard Soi 6 girls).

Thanks, I walked by middle of Feb when it first opened I think it was the old Harry's place there were like 5 girls or ladies older nothing stood out give it another take.

Soi Honey has changed considerably over the past three years, with the changes really accelerating since last year. Starting at Second Road and ending at Soi Buakhow, it used to be lined almost exclusively with massage shops, with just the occasional beer bar or hotel thrown into the mix. Although there are still a considerable number of massage shops on the soi, many of these shops have been converted, for economic reasons, to bars (primarily due to rising rents, I have been told). Visiting Pattaya, as I do most weekends, I've made it my mission to explore these newer bars.

Lips Lounge is one of these relatively new places, having just opened in February. In walking past, I would not have given it a second thought or a second glance were I not in possession of one key fact: Ricky. Yes, that Ricky from LK Metro, the one who managed to turn a small go-go called Pandora's into a veritable institution (a label that, unfortunately, no longer applies since its ownership change last year). Ricky's latest venture is Lips Lounge, which seems to be a GC / go-go hybrid (for lack of a better term). It opens at 1 pm as a closed bar / GC and at 7 pm switches into a go-go (during Songkran, it was closed during the day and opened only as a go-go at 7 pm, likely due to staffing issues).

Arriving at about 7:30 pm I was the only customer in the place, and there were about 5-6 girls, one Mamasan, one cashier, and one server. Not much happening on stage yet but I figured Ricky's business model would have me covered regardless so I just grabbed a seat and ordered a drink. After sipping my beer for a while and chatting with Mamasan, I developed my short list and then called over the two finalists to join me for a drink. Drink prices were quite standard for a club of this nature (I think 80 THB for a beer and 150 THB for a lady drink). I enjoyed the usual banter with my two new friends and, when it came time to order another drink, made my final selection and sent one of the girls packing. Game on.

My finalist was all too happy with my hands-on approach and her clothes gradually came off. After rubbing my crotch she began to unzip my shorts. Having visited Pandora's back when it was decent andafter my initial shock wore offpartaken in such activities there, I was up for it: the in-the-bar / go-go fully exposed BJ. No need for privacy curtains, and certainly no "room" is required. Just a nice blowie right there in the back row, exposed for everybody in the bar to see. The Mamasan and cashier started hooting and hollering, while the (quite young) waitress smirked as she served us yet another drink while I was being serviced. Overall, there's as much in-the-bar groping / shenanigans as well-known clubs like Windmill or Kink, but Lips Lounge's girls will actively service you right there in the bar (rather than just the other way around).

So, a very enjoyable experience overall but remember that this place is not for the faint of heart, the shy / reserved types, or looky-loo vacationers checking out Thailand's go-go scene with their spouses. This is hardcore raunch for guys who enjoy mongering with a bit of sleaze thrown in. (In my case, this type of thing was an "acquired taste" after a few trips to Pandora's in which it seemed all the other guys were enjoying themselves even more than I was. I was drinking and having fun with two big-titted MILFs when all of a sudden they got tired of waiting for me to ask and just kind of "got down to business". Their straightforward approach definitely helped me overcome any residual reservations. After that, I was hooked!

So, if you previously enjoyed Pandora's, or you're just curious and think you might like to try the house specialty, then I urge you to visit Lips Lounge on Soi Honey. Best to wear looser-fitting pants / shorts that slide off and on easily 😉.

Tldr: lots of newer bars on Soi Honey and former Pandora's go-go owner has opened a new place there with the same "hands-on" philosophy; drinks prices quite reasonable; quality of staff: good, but not outstanding (more like Soi 6 quality); atmosphere quite fun, which made the value for money decent overall. Will definitely repeat.
