Like many of us, I'd love to go Thailand on 1 July and go Cambodia too. But right now, with the news, they say Prime minister of Thailand will not open the borders before fourth trimestry! So it means probably not before October. Do you really believe that or not?

Do you think we'll be lucky to go Thailand and Cambodia this summer? Or we can forget?

If it's not possible I was thinking to go PH, like Angeles! I never go there. Because they say on TV, Philippines will open its borders on July 15. Do you think it's true?

If yes, do you know if it's same like Pattaya to go to Angeles? Are the working girls sexy and good? Do the working girls accept easily BBFS, bareback and CIP in Ph? Is it same price like in Thailand or Cambodia.

The gist is that whilst international travel may open up from 1 July, it will only be for work permit holders. There has been no indication of relaxation of other restrictions at that time. The view is that 14 days quarantine (at the travellers expense, and must be at a state approved facilty not self isolation), requirement for USD100 k insurance cover for COVID, etc will remain in place in the medium term. The article expresses the view that it will be "mid fall" before things get easier.

I have read elsewhere that the Government is conscious of foreigners stranded overseas who are married to Thais and ordinarily live here. However, it emphasised that until stranded Thais had all been repatriated, which is not happening quickly due to quarantine availability, they would have to wait. This piece (can't track it down just at the minute) also bracketed holders of Residence Permits with Work Permit Holders as the next priority. Note that visas for marriage, retirement, etc are not Residence Permits.

The chief of Thailand's National Security Council announced today that Thailand has set July 1 for the end of all "business and activity lockdowns" ordered to cope with the*Covid-19*crisis, include provincial and international travel. The announcement also included the end of the*Emergency Decree*and curfews.

Hopefully I will get a holiday in Mid July or at least August.
