I headed on over to Soi 6 with anticipation. The neon lights. Thousands of girls waiting for me and trying to lure me into their bars. Walked down the right side of Soi 6 from 2nd road as its the most busy. I walked by one partucular bar and saw a stunner I liked. As I walked by I casually winked at her and kept walking. Wondering to myself why she didn't jump out and grab me to come into her bar. I got down as far as Exotica and turned around to go back for another try. Again walking by same as before, but this time giving a wink and a nod. She still does not notice me. I stop at the corner and ponder for a moment about what I am doing wrong. Then I say to myself, this time she will notice me. I will give her the special wink and nod and flash a 20 Bhat note. I causally walk by and give her the wink nod and flash the 20 baht note. She looks at me for a brief second and then goes back to her phone. What am I doing wrong I ask myself. Maybe I better go in, but I don't want to buy any drinks for me or her. I think to myself, I am so handsome. I can pull this off. I go in and sit down. The server comes over and asks me what I want to drink. I ask her how much is a LEO beer. She says 90 Baht. I shutter in amazement and say, how much is a coke? She says 150 Baht. I tell her to give me the LEO.

The girl I like is still sitting outside on her phone. I ask the server to see if she will come over. The server goes over to talk to her and comes back saying the girl will be right over and what drink would I like to buy her. I think to myself "drink". How much will that cost? Anyways the girl walks over and sits down. Then she asked for a drink. I ask her how much. She says 160 baht. Whoa, really I say. I reluctantly say ok. We start talking. The drink order comes. I get to know her a little bit. We exchange pleasantries. How old are you. Where do you come from and so on. She finishes her drink. I start to caress her legs and breasts. She says, can I have another drink. I say hmmm why? She looks puzzled. Then I ask her how much is the bar fine. She says 1500 before midnight. Oh I feel shocked. Can we do ST, I ask. She says yes. I say how much. She says 1800 baht plus 400 room. I think to myself, hmm, I heard I can get 1000 baht. I offer this. She says a strong no. I counter with 1200 and she says 1500. I agree. Then I ask her about the services. I want BBFS CIP, 2 pops, and COF. She says a strong "No" I think to myself, what did I do wrong. Alas she says she will go to the toilet.

This is the same pattern as Angeles City in the Philippines, where the Koreans drove out the Farangs. Unfortunately for the ladies, the Koreans alone weren't enough to sustain them, so many ladies went home. So then the Koreans migrated to Pattaya. Shampoo, rinse, repeat.

I ask to pay my bill and start to leave. As I am walking out, my lady is also leaving with the Korean guy. She does not even look at me once. What a bad girl. I will, fix this bar. I will write 10 google reviews and complain in every discord and Facebook group about Pattaya that this bar sucks. No-one will ever go there again I think to myself: "Winning"!

LOL. You want to play peek-a-boo games and sit down and have drinks and buy drinks for hookers while you could be fucking. I will never understand this shit. It is a hoar house Walk up to a chick and ask about fucking then go to the room. Why make it so complicated? Too many times I have stood out in the street and talked to a chick about fucking. Why do guys insist that you need to sit down and cozy up with hookers before going to fuck them? Walk up: we go boom boom. How much? Too simple!

Idk, but based on the video showing the lineups at catflaps, looks like you'd be better off on beach road. Chunkers and grannies from what I saw. And I'm not very picky!! 56 days till my first Thailand trip, I look forward to contributing some honest reporting.

Go to their Facebook page and you will see they have about 7 really nice girls there. Of course all gents clubs have their share of fuggly uglies. I posted a few of their photos in this post. Since then, a couple more nice ones started work.

After she leaves, 5 Korean guys enter the bar. All the girls follow them in. They sit down and tons of commotion starts. The girls are laughing, sitting on the laps of the guys. They grab their dicks and so on. Not one drink has been bought yet. All of a sudden, I am shocked as a loud horn goes off. Then I see all the girls gather around the Korean guys and a load of shots come. Songs and chants are heard and so on. Then my girl enters back into the bar and runs over to the group for her drink and completely ignores me. What did I do wrong I think to myself. My girl is now grinding on some Korean dude. I see him pull out 1000 baht and slip it into her bra. Wow I think to myself. Why is he doing that. I sit there alone for another 30 minutes and the server even ignores me. I didn't want a drink anyways. Good for me. I just wanted that girl. I started to think if I offer her 100 Baht more will she go.

Alas another loud horn goes off and my girl is also getting about 40 drinks bought for her by the one Korean guy. How is this going on I think and what kind of place is this.

After another 20 minutes goes by, I see my lady walk over to the bar and she gets a long bill. Looks like it's taller than her and she holds it up while the cashier takes a photo. I hear someone say the bill amount of 20,000 Baht. I think what's going on here. Am I being cheated. I bought her a drink and she is ignoring me. What should I do. I think to my self, this place sucks. I am going to complain. I walk over to the cashier and ask to speak to the manager. The manager comes over and I say to him, listen I bought that girl a drink and she drank it and then walked away. It's not fair. The manager says he's sorry but she has to take care of the other customers. He offers to buy me a drink but I decline. I threaten to write a bad review in the discord. That will fix them I think to myself. The manager just walks away and joins the group of Koreans as well. I ask to pay my bill and start to leave. As I am walking out, my lady is also leaving with the Korean guy. She does not even look at me once. What a bad girl. I will, fix this bar. My bad! Milk is a place in soi15 (can check it out anyway) but I was refering to MIRROR CLUB (look them up on facebook). They are new and photos and venues look nice enough.

Same for FireUp (Soi6, near 2nd road). They do like a crossover of a soi6 bar and a GC upstairs with events on fridays (900 thb incl ladydrinks and YOUR drinks).

Heading back next month, will take a look at both. I've been to Fire a couple of times. Matt is a good dude. I was never in town on a Friday, but the reviews of the "Fired UP " event are all good. I tried to get in on one of the Wednesday events last month, but not enough punters so they cancelled it. I think they are trying to do an ad hoc second event weekly. I will try to make one of them soon.

Had not heard about Milk, have you visited? Like to hear more. I have not seen them advertised at all. A place is low key, but if you are heading to Catflaps (good place BTW) add in Kinaree, one street over and Pussy Galore in Jometien. Kinaree gets started for real by 2:00 pm and is winding down by 5:00 ish. Almost all of those girls are FL's with home responsibilties.

Thanks, for the tips. Some of the stunners on TF often ask ' How much are you paying me? I don't get that ask from non-stunners. The non-stunners are 7 to 9, out of 10, but they are not stunners, 9 and above. Off course they get upset if they don't like the price I quote. I had one girl ask 20 K. Off course I am not going to pay that, but I am sure there is a sucker who will.

Pricing question: I plan to try WS and LK agogos tomorrow. Next day, I will try the GCs. Is the pricing more standardized there? What should I expect?

For WS I would recommend to check out: Tantra, Windmill (1 and 2) and avoid Pinup / XS / Bliss / Moon (pushing for drinks). For LK check out kink / topgun (New) and Las Vegas!

Prices LD 200-250. Barfines 1500+ (depending time and girl). Most agogos come alife after 10 pm.

There was an article the other day on As--and, in regards to this topic explanation from tax attorneys. I tried to go back and locate the story and paste it here but sadly I can't find it at the moment even then I'm not sure how to paste etc get it on this board.

People should be concerned because I fall into this category but living here for so many years I hear things thrown out by their leaders and you wonder and just wonder. So I'm just going to take a wait-and-see attitude until!

What I do remember reading is you get a pass this year because the Thai who opened this can of worms did not have a clue as to what he or she did. When it was brought up was mainly to target " Thais " earning money abroad and bringing it back to Thailand, enforcing was rightly so but it opened a whole can for expats and foreigners living here. Without a real clarification like everything the rumors running crazy. I hear ex-pats talk and what I hear is totally hearsay and even false because so and so told meM.

The key is how are they going to enforce it and will they see what they have open will they. What I got from the story was every country is different for the USA There is a treaty or agreement you can't take the Social Security pension. You can't double-tax an individual. Myself, although living here I file a tax return every year in the States for my S. S. And company allowance. From my understanding, Britain has no such agreement for example.

From my IRA, 401 K, etc. I have delayed taking it but will need to soon what I take out is added to my ordinary income and taxes are paid based on my bracket. So it assumes falls also into the Double taxing rule. The money I have shipped or brought over from the States through the years sits in my Thai bank and the interest given to the bank takes the taxes out from there so I've covered.

In the fine print, there are provisions on how long you stay and how you ship or spend here a year that require you to file a return. Most of the extra money I might ship comes from earnings already taxed come from earning before 2024. If one does file would need to provide proof of such. So look at what I have written lots and confusing so how is a Thai going to sort all this out if one does decide to file? Then I read from the article the website is only in Thai! Do people see where this is going?

There are tons of ifs at the end the Lawyers say if you need to file nothing to worry the tax law is so lacking that they provide tons of exemptions for tons of reasons the average person isn't going to pay a baht. But like myself, the last thing I need to add to my list is filing a tax return. So for myself, I'm not going to do one but what I plan to do for this year is just forward my S. S. And pension using Wise twice a month. If they ever get that fall when I fail for my extension and they ask me why I will prove to them I'm living out totally on the two which under the agreement can't be taxed again by your government so no filing is necessary.

Meantime the extra I've been bringing when rates are to my advantage will stop. All the extra will be brought when I go home once or twice a year whatever the limit of 10,000-20,000 I will carry it here myself or have my trusted family members visit to bring it over and laundry it. If all goes wrong there is the wait-and-see as to what agents can do to obtain extensions without all the nonsense. Worse come to worse I will need to spend time away from my Thai family and travel to other countries nearby but I'm not filing for now will hold tight!

Yes, that is what I have read as well.

Being from a country that has that Treaty in place, I was hoping to find a mention of the general change on the Thai Immigration website, such as, "In the case of extending an O-A Non Immigrant Visa for an expat not from a country with the No Double Taxation Treaty, these are the current conditions and required documents, blah, blah, blah. ".

But as of 2 days ago I did not see any reference to it.

USA tax authorities and banks are known for those being the most demanding in terms of acquiring information (useful for them) but, at the same token the more restricted to pass on the same level of information (from their own data bank) to other countries. Wherever you open a bank account or take action in some financial operation in many countries, you are deemed to fill a form specifically referring to your position, if any, with US tax authorities. As they might have to communicate info to them.

It's all about bilateral agreements where the US have gained more data power.

Nevertheless more banks or financial institutions have to follow their country rules to acquire foreign tax position of citizens of other countries, regardless they are residents.

Ah, I see. Then it is interesting that there is no mention on the Thai Immigration website that officially warns or notifies us that we'd better start counting the days we live here for the purposes of tax liability for this year. At least, I did not see one yet.
