I did a short around town yesterday afternoon and came to pretty much the same conclusion as M. P. , I started going down Soi 6, no sign of opening, then up Soi 8, down Soi 7, no sign of opening, down Beach road into W. S. Went through Soi 15, down Soi Diamond no sign of opening only Coco Go Go seem to be doing construction or closed wouldn't be surprised. Continued down W. S. Back around Marine Hotel into 2nd Road, lots of small businesses closed or gone especially all the Indian restaurants the 7/11 at the corner of Soi Diamond /2nd Road pretty of homeless? Sitting around and talking including a farang homeless / drunk?

Down Soi Baukhao starting Pattaya Tai end didn't see any real activity to small bars opening but did notice the area where Golden Times is located clubs like 555 had their doors open getting ready? Down into LK metro noticed Crystal Club, Queens, KinK and Scooter bar had their doors opened getting ready?

When it comes to Treetown, the owners got their hands slapped for trying to jump the gun and take advantage of their position putting locals in a bad position to be noticed? Beer Hub is closed and not due to the raid.

Did another afternoon walk on the Eve of the Resurrection of entertainment venues. Looks like a few beer bars on BR will try to make a go at it by cleaning up their places. Down Soi Made in Thailand or America (can't remember as I don't frequent there), it was dusty and empty as usual. Where it V's off towards Boo Cow, the open air beer bars seem like they also will try as well. From Boo Cow took and 10 baht bus all the way to the temple near Walking Street and Second, and then I made a quick dash into Walking Street via Soi 15 where Sapphire is. Looked dead besides Doll House where there were some people. Sensations and Bacarra had doors open, but not sure what's going on there. Moulin Rogue had activity. The rest were closed. There was a Dolls Walking Street that I did not notice before. I just remembered one on Soi 6 and LK. So my bad whoever told me there was a Dolls on WS, and I dissented. Ginza is out of business and so is Ninja on LK. Saw a club called Black Banana with Korean letters in the same spot that has changed names like a million times. Like I said, they are experts at taking investors money. Did a walk back on the beach and ran into Mr. E biking with his Russian girl. Not sure how he does it. I have a hard time not tripping on those uneven bricks on the sidewalk. Let's see what happens tomorrow night. Rain I bet and everything stays closed. LOL.

Had a nice going away dinner and chat with XXL and another guy from PA at Jolly's on Soi Boo Cow. We were the only people there from 7 until about 8 pm. Thanks to XXL for the treat. The guy is pretty legit and quite young in spirit for some one his age. He sees a girl he likes and has no problem going up to her and trying. 7. Travel agencies / Tour operators all shut down.

8. Hooters BR still closed.

9. Kiss on Second Road about 3 people dining at 6:45 pm Sunday.

10. McD's only opened at TukCom, and Avenue that I know of.

11. Treetown is restricted and 80% less busier than before the raids.

12. Sex can still be found at the massage shops around Buakhao and Soi Honey. Service and quality is a different story.

Basically, if it was a Tourist Trap, whether it was a restaurant, night market, bar, club, massage shop, or whatever type of business or scam it was and you never saw the locals spending their cash at these types of places. It still is closed. Because businesses that operate as tourist traps need tourists to trap. Am I wrong?
