When I went from BKK Ekkamai to Pat last time ended up at North Bus Station. Only way getting there and from seems a TukTuk mafia charging 50 Bath to Beach road or walking from or to Terminal 21 (not advisable IMHO). Is there any alternative or does the Bus from Suvarnaburmi Airport stop at a better place (a YT video claimed near Terminal 21 before heading to Jomtiem Beach)? Strangely I found no info on this. Maybe I am overlooking something?
See some of you end of the month, will be my first time in high season, looking forward to it.
FA.
According to https://triplyzer.com/thailand/suvar...t-pattaya-bus/ the bus stops as follows.
Suvarnabhumi airport to Pattaya bus stops.
389 bus has following bus stops.
Stop 1: North Pattaya Road.
Stop 2: Central Pattaya Road.
Stop 3; Big see on South Pattaya Road.
Last stop: Thapphraya Bus Station, Jomtien.

Are you really complaining about an additional 50 baht from the bus station? Those trucks drop people off anywhere on BR or 2nd Rd, but they have to fill up with customers first. Usually takes 15-20 minutes depending on how many people from the buses take them. So you are talking about a $7 trip from Bangkok to Pattaya and still trying to save more money? If that's the case, there is a nice air conditioned invisible bus that picks up people from the same station. Just stand towards the front and wait for it. Bring some water and make sure you don't miss it.

I suppose you mean the Baht bus? Tuk tuks are not so common in Pattaya. The Baht busses charge 50 Baht to Beach Road indeed, and have done so for many years in a row already. They are not mafia, it's the official price (as far as anything is really official in Thailand).
Alternatively you can order a Bolt taxi. Very convenient, air conditioned, and only a bit more expensive.
Bell Travel Service is going from Suvarnabhumi Airport to the same Northern Bus Station. And from there they take you in minivans to your hotel.

And Roong Reuang Coach is going from the airport to Jomtien Beach.

Although actually they are the same company, I believe.

The Jomtien bus stops at Pattaya North Road, on Sukhumvit, as well as near Pattaya Tai.
Normally, I would advise taking a Bolt taxi, but they are very busy now.

There are no Tuk Tuks in Pattaya, but try Bolt. Maybe I am not understanding. You are looking to pay less than 50 baht to get to your hotel?

Maybe 1 bar without rooms. The one with streap-tease upstairs. Close to 2nd road, left-hand side when facing towards Beach road.

Again, check your facts. If you are referring to GST it is 9%. But Singapore has one of the lowest income tax rates with a max rate of 15% and no tax on capital gains and dividends. Most locals pay well below 10%. Plus locals get super subsidized housing. So in fact there is a good amount of disposable income here. Especially amongst young people who live with their parents until they get married, sometimes well into their 30's. THey have no actual expenses so even a $4 K per month salary with low taxes allows a lot of shopping trips to Bangkok.
Thanks for the lessons Bro.
Unlike Thailand your Public Bus 🚌 are very clean. 😂.
I'm hearing after China gets Taiwan next up is Singapore. China wants riches not Khrap Country s like Myanmar.
I hope you paying your NATO fees. Gnomesaying.

I'm hearing SIN aren't flush with disposable income either. They paying 10% esg tax. While the rest of the World has come to the conclusion it's a Scam.
I'm going to SIN tomorrow. Props on your immigration system. 3rd time in 12 months I'm impressed.

The day after New Years Eve was surprisingly dead, with a lot of bars closed, at least on Soi Chaiyapoon.
Where the bars were open, lots of ladies, not so many customers.
Maggie Mays was strangely quiet, with many ladies gone. Barfined for the holidays. I guess I will soon be guilty of that, as I am taking a MM to Japan for a few days.
