This right here is exactly the case! But others swear there is no BB or that it is hard to get. I have never tried to negotiate it beforehand and I think this is why the people that say it is not done are saying it. Maybe they are misspeaking and mean they have not been able to do it with negotiation. But how you and others have explained it is exactly how it happens and almost 100% of the time. Hi, newbie poster here (but not newbie reader). I visited Pattaya in the first half of August, first time, although I've been to Thailand a few times before. Here are some of my thoughts.

First of all the basics. Pattaya is a paradise for lust, not love. In theory everyone knows that, but from talking to the girls it seems some customers don't understand it. So my advice: have fun, pay up and treat it for what it is.

Types of venues. Action can take place in a room attached to a venue, behind curtains in the main area of a venue, in your own hotel room, or at a short-time hotel (2-3 hours for 300-400 THB). Occasionally there is action in the main space, in public view of everybody, but apart from some foreplay this is pretty rare. If a venue has a dedicated room / space for sex / BJs, you'll most likely be using those. If not, you're off to a short-time hotel or your own hotel room.

There are a number of types of venues:

- Beer Bars. Bars with no walls, just a ceiling, where working girls role-play being the bar's customers; they try to come across as the friendly girl-next-door type; you pay for their drinks, but you can take almost any of them for sex to your hotel (ask about it when you buy her the first drink; and do discuss prices. Usually 1500 for ST, might be more if she's very hot; might be less if you're not selective + barfine 300-500).

- Girly bars. Closed-door beer bars, with rooms on premises; somehow, I didn't really like them too much.

- GCs. Closed-door bars, with explicit ladies, who do not role-play. They start caressing you and offering services almost immediately. Usually you start off with a lady drink, but after that you can go straight to a room, if you like. Or for a BJ. Whatever you like. Just ask. Oh, and the prices are pretty much standard - 1000 for sex, 500 for BJ. Plus BF / room (depends on the GC, usually about 300). Plus LD. Plus your own drink.

- Freelancers on ThaiFriendly. Very easy to find, tonnes of women, prices typically 1200 for ST. However, the logistics involved in meeting the girl outside of your hotel, to make sure she looks OK and is not a psycho, and perhaps to go to a short-time hotel, was just too much for me! I did it once, and it was very much like a beer bar girl experience. Not worth the hassle for me.

- Agogos. Closed-door bars with ladies dancing, sometimes in bikinis, sometimes topless, sometimes naked. Famed for the best looking and most expensive girls. And highest BFs.

- Soi Six: a Thai RLD street. The girls are mostly too young for my liking. And a lot of them are young, yes, but ugly! Plus the experience was very much a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am type; hard pass.

- Massage places. The "happy ending" ones; I visited one and I feel they're good only if you need a solid alibi for your wife, vacationing with you in Pattaya.

- Freelancers on Beach Road ("Coconut bar") and around town. Did not explore them.

Personally, I most liked to visit:

* GCs / BJ bars in the afternoon. Especially Soi Bongkot and GC Excite. If you're not *very* picky about age and looks, you can fulfill a lot of fantasies. My preferred service was BJ in all possible positions, places and combinations of ladies. If getting a BJ right there in the bar is your thing, or BJ from two girls at the same time, these places are highly recommended.

* Agogos. I'd go once every few days just to watch, occasionally buy a lady drink for some attention. I really didn't feel the urge to BF them. I recommend Windmill and Kink upstairs for full nakedness and some limited naughtiness if you buy the lady a drink; and the packed Pin-up, which gave something of a cyberpunk vibe.

* Beer bars. I like the freedom to walk around and browse through the selection of girls. Try walking around Tree Town, Soi Buakhao, but also Soi 7, Soi 8 etc. - sometimes the most remote bars have great-looking ladies, and you'll get a very warm welcome. Most of the girls are 30+, yes, but with some effort you can find younger ones. Most, especially the younger ones, are very bored, and don't even try to capture your attention. Often it's worth chatting up an indifferent hot chick, just make sure she changes attitude before you start talking business.

Quality of girls. This is tricky, don't expect heaps of stunners. If you're all about hot young chicks and you're willing to pay top buck, agogos are the place to be. If you want young, and don't care about the quality of the service, perhaps even looks, try Soi Six. For the average guy, try the bars. If you want pleasant-friendly-and-easy, with looks less important, go for GCs.

Condoms. In general I try and stick to condoms for sex, although I have to admit I do, very rarely, make exceptions. I've never been explicitly offered BBFS as a selling point, but sometimes the bar girls on the way to my hotel would offer me both options (with the price already settled). Sometimes they'll be very explicit about the mandatory use of condom for sex (usually in the room, before the deed). But what most frequently happens is the girl asks you "do you have a condom?" in an assertive tone. I have said "no" 2 or 3 times, and then it's straight to BB. I think the question usually means: "I really prefer we use a condom, but if you don't want to, that's fine". They seem to have a lot of stories to support their preference of condoms, stories they tell me even after I choose the condom (mainly about the fear of getting pregnant and about pills not working properly; not about STDs). CIP was never discussed as a separate subject.

Working girls and ethics. I haven't met any "evil" working girls in Pattaya, but two things are pretty much the norm for most of them: taking advantage of you if they see the opportunity (even in "local" GCs), and lying. The first thing you can cover by avoiding giving the girls the opportunities. Ask in detail about prices, services, time allowed; make sure you immediately get a new receipt every time you order something at a venue, guard your bin to make sure nobody's adding drinks. And check the receipt every single time. Make sure you not only study it, but that you are also *seen* studying it. Do some theatrics. This will severely diminish the chance they'll try to cheat you. And believe me, this is normal and not frowned upon in the least bit. Oh, and always pay AFTER sex, when she's preparing to go.

As far as lying. This is mostly to tell the customer what he wants to hear and to protect the aspects of their lives they don't want to share. It's fine by me! I use white lies in Pattaya as well. However, in two cases the lying does get on my nerves. One is if the lady keeps telling unnecessary lies that are too easy to refute ("my boobs are natural!" - I squeeze the boob 2 inches away and it's very obviously silicon; "I've been in the bar for a week and no customer!" - "but you just said you just arrived yesterday? ") . Two is standard lies ("she's very shy", "she's new to the business", "my friend hasn't had a customer or a drink for a week! You have to buy her one! ") . These I have to laugh off very clearly. If I'm sometimes not in the mood to joke and I just smile, often they think I believe it all, I'm very dumb and they try to cheat me. I'll catch them in the act, and I have to switch venues. So much for a mood booster.

But all in good humour, I'm just saying as it is! All this doesn't ruin my fun, make sure it doesn't ruin yours!

Imagine if for one night only someone spiked every lady-drink in Pattaya with a truth serum and you were sat next to a cute little gogo girl telling you how many customers have fucked her lately, how much she loves her Thai boyfriend and going in to detail about last night's bareback spit-roast. I'd prefer her to tell me she's new in town, even if I know it's not true. It's all a game.

Softened my stance on Soi 6.

It is what is is. I'll go as far to say they are much better value than a Mediocre Walking Street Girl.

If I heard correct. Barfine is 350 Baht. Girl fee is 1,300 Baht.

If you walk real Slow you might see one that is worth 1,650 baht.

They do seem as a group much Friendlier than an Agogo girl.

Same concept buy them a drink or give them a tip to judge,. No biggie.

Going to start off by stating everything is relative. So take the comments for what they are, what works for you / me may not meet someone else's expectations. Factors: length of stay, budget, age, etc. My intention was to have the best experience & not let budget limits spoil the fun = 18-22 yr olds billboard-worthy only. I purposely picked slow season to avoid large crowds. Was worried about rain but it's been sunny everyday!

Gogo: This is the place to be if you want to preview what you're getting. PinUp is best for sexy girls. Windmill lived up to its expectations for fun (head upstairs). Every gogo bar has at least one 10. PinUp has quite a few 9's & 10's but if you go too late they'll all be barfined & left with 6's 8's. BF: 1500 thb. ST: 3000 thb. Tipping the mamasans a 100 thb goes a long way during repeat visits. And don't be afraid to turn girls away. Yes, all eyes are on you when you walk thru that door & they all want to be seated w / you.

So far I had only barfined girls from PinUp & Fahrenheit. And girls from TF. ST cost has been 3000 thb. 1 paid 4000 thb for 1 girl. She could have easily been a Victoria Secrets model. But all would be worthy of magazine model. All of them voluntarily bareback (not what I was seeking) & GFE. Al.
