Indonesia is my favourite place for some years and I get local price because I speak local language. I would never ever pay more than 300 k for an ST. 100 k for a hand job or maximum 200 if the girl allows me to touch her and friendly.

When I was exploring Kalimantan and far east, I always get girls less than 20 years of old but no english at all for 300 k.

BTW, it is possible in every country and depends on your luck to get a non greedy girl. I am right now in BKK with the girl I met last week and she is staying with me for 2 whole nights. Did not talk about money and all but last week I paid her 1600 baht for LT.

Unfortunately speaking the local language is not a positive in the Farang P4 P scene in BKK or Pattaya. Gals can't pull the same crap with locals that they can with tourists. My Thai is pretty good and when they ask questions in English I respond in Thai. Many times I am met with sighs and eye rolls. There are exceptions but not that many these days. Locals are not the preferred targets. We "know too much. ".

And again, compare with scenes that are driven by locals, Jakarta and even HK and you'll see quite different pricing. In Travel and Classic you get a pretty good gal for about 800 Baht and in Fuji HK, about 2 k gets you a white skinned looker.

First time in Pattaya. Arrived mid-evening, and went to Walking Street. Seemed relatively slow and not nearly as wild as I had been imagining, but opi understand its slow season. Wasn't feeling all that spry after a traveling for 30+ hours to get here, so decided to just go with a BJ bar rather than find a bar girl and decided to head to Lxlitxs. Selection was very disappointing at 11 pm - 5 women, none attractive, maybe one in their 20's. Figured I'the just go with an older woman thinking her skills might be best. BJ was fine as she was happy to have a customer, but she didn't go deep. All in all, I'll take the blame for my disappointing first night experience given low energy level and unfamiliarity with the city layout once I arrived (My hotel, which showed as being somewhere in between the south and central areas on the booking site map, turned out to be on North Pattaya. F me! Hoping to do better today, and will check out Soi 6.

No wonder all you do is complain in the BKK thread. We get it. You don't want to spend x USD on girls. So why not just post about the girls you are doing. That might be useful. Constantly bitching about current prices of Go Go girls and other top tier girls is crying in your beer. It is unbecoming.

Why? Because as the prices have gone up the performance for the most part has gone down. It's not like we are getting a better experience for what is often 4 times the price. Jeez, when you buy a new car you pay more than you did 20 years ago but you get better features and better performance. Unbecoming? I remember my second trip to Nom Penh in early '00. Ran into a guy who I met in Bkk in July 99. First thing he did was grab me by the shoulder and tell me, "this is what you pay the girls. " he proceeded to list the prices for different venues. To which he added, "if you pay more you'll ruin it for all of us. " That really stuck with me. And he was right. Unfortunately, tourists and two week millionaires do tend to ruin a scene. It's about them, their two weeks, and their money. It's "my money" and I'll do what I want. And most certainly that's your choice, but to act as if this has no effect is silly. And personally, that's an attitude I find unbecoming. To me paying 150 usd for st with a gal whose going it leave after one shot and try to get out in an hour or so is just nuts. I'd postulate that prices in all over Bkk and in Pattaya gogos are driven solely by tourists, which used to not be the case. And again, compare with scenes that are driven by locals, Jakarta and even HK and you'll see quite different pricing. In Travel and Classic you get a pretty good gal for about 800 Baht and in Fuji HK, about 2 k gets you a white skinned looker.

Many aspects of the Thai p4 p scene have become quite expensive Natty. And yes, it's not so great for us residents.

I had some great gals in Pattaya for a good price.

Why don't I post about experiences in Bkk? Because I haven't had a memorable oily or FL in ages. It's been one meh after another. Why lost about mediocrity? Guys aren't interested. Unless it's great or there is one to avoid, it's not worth the effort to type.

Does anyone know if the Chaiyapoon Inn got its name from American slang word Poon? It is amusing because Chaiya prefix in Thai means "victory" but Poon means absolutely nothing. I just kid, because what I ask, is actually unlikely.

Could be that this coincidence with American slang word Poon, was just a lucky accident, making a nice joke. Chaiyaphoom (Chaiyaphum) is a well known Thai word but Hotels may not be allowed to use it. It means a strategically favourable position (for military), and is the name of a province in Thailand. So sometimes a company uses a Thai word but corrupts it slightly. All the American customers can have a grin I guess, if they stay there. Would any be put off by the name, I wonder? When I first joined the forum, I had never heard of the term Poon at all. It is not used in my country at all to my knowledge.

There was a Massage joint in Bangkok at one time called in English Pornee (ha ha). They later changed it to Phunee (even though that was not close to the Thai name). Maybe was supposed to be a legit place (Spa) and they later found out the name Pornee was a little unfortunate (in English). Which Farang wants to tell his Mrs or friends that he went to Pornee (Phornee) massage? Ha ha. However Phorn is very common Thai innocent nickname.

Yet another tangent: Fak (Fuck) is an absolutely innocent word in the Thai language. It can mean to incubate a hen's egg, for example. It is also a type of vegetable (gourd). However would be very sensible to avoid this word when naming a street or hotel, etc. , even if a gourd farm / garden or hatchery had once been there.
