I've seen both spellings, your's make sense if there was a club by that name.

The disco was called Xzyte Club and I've spelled the name of that soi on here as Soi X-zyte and Soi xzyte in the past.

That huge piece of land is such a wasteland. Has its semi annual mini fairs. About 2 years ago I went to an amazing outdoor Thai concert with lots of acts there. Felt sorry for guys who were looking for P4 P that night because so many hot Thai girls were at that concert.

I am pretty sure that it is called Soi Excyte, which is named after the nightclub which existed on that large open area of ground further down and closer to 3rd Road. It is now torn down.

Later on the chick said that her friend told her to ask me to buy them drinks, but she told her if I wanted to buy drinks for them I would offer. I was half way finished with my drink when my girl said she was going to leave and go to sleep. I said well I am coming too and turned my glass up. I asked where her bike was and she said she didn't have one. I said that is okay. We can take mine. She wanted me to take her to her room but I told her fuck that. You are going home with me.

We got back to my room and she kept doing all this hemming and hawing talking about taking a motorbike home. It was like she didn't really want to tell me she was a hooker. Finally she broke the news gently saying she is working like other girls in Pattaya. Well hell, I am hiring like other men in Pattaya. She asked how much I would give her. I said how much do you want? She said 2000. I started laughing. She said how much you give me. I said 1200. She said give me a towel and I will go take a shower.

Finally went to sleep after 6. I woke up at 9 to do my things and woke her up at 11:30 for round 2. I gave her the 1200 and she insisted to take a motorbike taxi to where she was going instead of me taking her. I asked her why she was ashamed to be with me. We went out the door and she yelled "Mo-Sy". This was my first time hearing someone call a motorcycle taxi like this, unless I just have not been paying attention all these years.

I paid her 1800 for LT. The next time though I only gave her 1200 and she gladly accepted without a peep of protest. So much for my friends expertise.

This may not be normal. I had a habit to pay girls differing amounts, depending on whether I was easy to do or very difficult on the occasion. I thought that much more hard work deserved a different amount, and often girls had not negotiated any price with me.

However I found that girls had very good memories of exactly how much I had paid them in the past, even if was weeks or months ago. Some would then ask why the amount had changed. I found it best to say something if paying a girl any hard work bonus, to say clearly that there was a one off bonus due to putting her through the hard work, so she could understand that I would not necessarily pay exactly the same everytime, and that a bonus today was not guaranteed for next time.

So many girls are in fact expecting to paid the same next time, and they rarely forget how much it was. That is my experience, even though I don't pay always the same. In general, if intending to pay less, best tell the girl in advance. Otherwise she could feel she has been ripped off. Some girls can even be angry but say absolutely nothing about it.

When I first came to Thailand several years ago an old hand ex-pat told me once you set the price with a girl then you are locked into that price. Shortly thereafter I met a girl in BKK who had been slaving in a factory. I paid her 1800 for LT. The next time though I only gave her 1200 and she gladly accepted without a peep of protest. I wouldn't be so quick to judge the American military. I've been here long enough which will never make me an expert but there are a lot of people overpaying which is why this subject continues to rare it head. All you got to do is go back as far as you like and there will be a conversation regarding overpaying.

I've seen a lot of people from all over the world overpay even on Soi 6, massage parlor, Gentlemen's clubs. Just the other night I was at one of the popular GoGo ventures by many Asians I was stuck between some Koreans and guys from New Zealand? One guy was talking Rugby about the black? Being an old Asian myself I fitted in nicely thinking I had no idea what was being said. In the end, one of the guys BF a girl, this girl I have seen many times rarely gets BF but when you get a taker for 5000 baht ST. When the girl went to change he was paying the tab to the mamasan the look on his face was priceless he was like a little kid in a candy store. Who was I to tell him you just overpaid by 2000 baht.

Even though I live here no matter how long or how much you do it sooner or later you pay your dues that means you overpay or you get a dud? Don't forget Asians always get bashed for overpaying and now I see more and more Indians in clubs overpaying so they are accepted?

US $100 is about 3000 Baht and I wonder if anyone knows why the American military guys are paying so much. It is just plain overpaying and why would they do that? It is so easy to find out the normal prices and they surely must know that paying 3000 Baht is too much and there is no need to pay so much to the girls.
