I never bought my Vitamins off the street no matter how cheap they were or how "reliable" (LOL) the street vendor. I think buying MEDICINE off the street is INSANE. Instead I always purchased large quantities without a prescription in national brand name pharmacies like Guardian in Jakarta and Mercury in Manila. In BKK no such luck in the brand name joints, so I used to purchase smaller quantities at the now deceased Charoen pharmacy near Soi 4. Charoen was always reliable, but I always insisted on at least 1 year remaining to the expiration date before making my purchase with them. But all that has changed since generic Viagra (Sildenafil) is now available with a prescription in the USA: I no longer purchase the product in Asia.

Currently I am paying around $1. 00 per 100 MG pill and of course the pills are 100% effective, factory fresh & up to date, and stored in temperature controlled environment. These generics are made in Israel and I get no headaches from them. Go figure. So next trip, just like my last trip, I will be armed with 2 bottles of 100 MG Sildenafil each bottle containing 40 pills, all legal with my name, the name of my doctor, and my prescription # printed on the label. That should be enough ammunition to last me through my 11 week trip, 555, but if I run out it will probably be in Jakarta, so I will just pop into a Guardian Pharmacy and buy a couple of boxes. This is a real Game Changer!

Says "Store below 30 see" right there on the pack. The street vendor has certainly not done that. Might be either a fake or simply old expired stock. I think the likelihood of fakes is higher when buying a "genuine" Viagra at a high price (from a dodgy pharmacy), since they have an incentive to make it look good. Cheap stuff is more likely to be simply inconsistent.

There's a Thai-made generic, Sidegra for 100 baht 4 x50 MG and 180 baht 4 x100 MG. It almost certainly won't be a fake since it's domestically produced and so cheap that fakes wouldn't be profitable. I've been using it for years, and it works well. Perhaps 1 in 10 tablets appears not to do as much as I expect, but perhaps it's me (taking it improperly with food, taking too long etc).

I don't see the appeal of a jelly, it tastes awful, and unlike the pill, you can't swallow it. Maybe it's better for micro-dosing (easier to get, say 1/4 or 1/3 of a pack), if that's your thing. However, active ingredient is not evenly spread, so when you split a pill or a jelly pack, you don't know how much you're getting.

For models before midnight barfine is 2000 TBH and 1500 after. For coyotes it's 1500/1000 before / after midnight. You should expect to pay the lady around 3000 for short time and 5000 for long time in Palace.

Had a friend come back from Pattaya a few weeks ago and some of the hotties in Palace were saying that the bar fine was 2000 and girl was 3000. Any one know if this is true? Headed down there tomorrow. Thanks.

What did the jelly taste like? I bought 2 doses of another jelly some two weeks ago and the jelly had a definite acrid taste of crushed sildenafil tablets. However this one I'm complaining about has no such unpleasant taste.

I haven't even tried it. When I opened the sachet the jelly was completely different, opened many sachets in the box and all looked very bad. I didn't dare try it and I threw the whole box in the trash.

I've had this happen to me too. Bought a box in BKK a couple of years ago, got massive headaches and no boner! Just not worth the risk. Also alarmed at the follow up post to see what the ingredients might be. Better buying from a pharmacy, paying a bit more but ensuring you get the real deal.

Whilst on the topic of ED / enhancers, not identical but related. I've read online that it is illegal to bring poppers into Thailand. Is that right? Don't want to even risk doing anything that could land me in trouble but I do like poppers. Lots of confusing stuff on the net saying they are banned / illegal, and other sites and guys saying never had a problem even when cases searched and bottles have been openly on display in toiletry bags. Does anyone know the real answer? And are they on sale too in the streets / sex shops? If yes are they fake too?

XXL, your jelly may be real but who knows how long it's been with that street vendor in up to 45 Celsius weather. I'm guessing it's supposed to be kept at room temperature, not outside in Thailand day in, day out. Certainly that has to affect its magical powers.

I paid 800 baht for 40 Kamagra tablets off a 2nd Rd itinerant vendor. This works out to be 80 baht per 4-tab pack. Looks like you are paying 200 baht per pack, which is what I used to pay in one of the pharmacies on 2nd Rd until I realised they were ripping me off.

There is a lot of fake stuff out there, along with shakedown scams run by BIB in cahoots with some pharmacies in town recently. Street purchases were always a hit and miss risk and I've fallen for them a few times, but I don't buy 50 sachets on the street any more. I paid a similar price to a pharmacy on Soi Buakhao back in August.

What is in the fake stuff though? There is no doubt it does something, facial flushing is evident for instance. Maybe strychnine or something.
A study from Hong Kong showed fake Viagra contained all or some of the following: talcum powder, commercial paint, printer ink, drywall, amphetamines, diabetes drugs, even a powerful antibacterial medication called metronidazole (which reacts badly with alcohol btw).

But I can not get my head around the behaviour of the Indian "wolf packs" in Pattaya. Why do they always hunt in groups? Why they hold hands like they were gay? Why always haggle about the price, even it is said the men are generally from middle- to upper class Indians (poor classes in India can not afford to travel anywhere).

I am not from India, but I have explained this before. It is all about culture. Indian men and women can not comingle. At 3 am in Mumbai you will see roving packs of guys just hanging out. Then across the way you will see a group of women. This is how they are raised. They are not going to arrive in another country then all of a sudden be different. Thai chicks tell me that all European men want to do is get drunk and watch football. Why is that? Why do Westerners get to Thailand and want to tongue kiss? Thais sniff kiss.

I am American and I am not lower class, but I always haggle about the price as well in countries where haggling is a part of the culture. Maybe you are used to going in a shopping mall where there is a price tag handed down from corporate and you must pay that price. Why would I not haggle when buying in a market or renting some pussy? In that type of environment paying the first price given is for suckers.

If you go to Mike's shopping and buy a shirt they will tell you 400 baht. I am a haggler and always get those shirts for 200 baht. I don't even have to haggle anymore because they know that I know how much to pay.

Once I bought some toys from a street vendor. Whatever he was selling them for he had the price on a piece of cardboard for suckers. When I started haggling he turned the cardboard over to the other side where he had the price written as damn near half of what it was on the initial side. He started smiling and said shhhhh. That is the same shit that I say about Soi 6. Some guys will go down and get the cheaper price by haggling. Others just pay the first price they are told. At BKK I go upstairs and haggle and get the taxi for 900 baht. Many guys here report taking taxis to Pattaya for 1500 baht. What are they getting for the extra 600 baht that I am not getting? Phuket we wanted to go on a tour that was listed as 1200 baht per person. Haggled with the lady and got the tour for 900 baht. Paying another 300 baht would not have gotten me anything extra.

I remember going into a convenience store in Sydney and a bottle of water rang up for $4 when I went to the register. I told the guy I was not about to pay $4 for some water. He punched into the register and said okay, $2.50.

Even when I bought my house in the States they asked me how much I wanted to put down. I said zero So zero it was. Same thing when I bought my car. Meanwhile I hear people saying you have to put 20% or whatever down. No you don't. You just have to open your mouth. Why pay more when you can pay less by uttering a few words? Don't let your ego get in the way of getting a good deal.

I go to Pattaya regularly and of course notice that the influx of Indian men is quite overwhelming. It is expected that Indian visitors will increase in the coming years. I am afraid this will have a bad effect on the place. The vibe around these guys are not good. For several reason as stated many times also on this forum. Personally I have met Indian business-men that is actually very likeable and act like gentlemen. They dress nice, appear clean and well behaved. Maybe someone born in India can actually tell us what this is all about? There is a horrible rape-culture in India, but I won't go into that. I can not belive those going on a holiday to Thailand really hold such attitudes, but who knows. I have never been to India, so I am quite ignorant about the whole culture. I just scratch my head on the strange behaviour these men show when they visit Thailand.

I'm not Indian but will take a stab at this. I made my first trip to India many years ago. I arrived at Mumbai airport at around 9. 00 pm and had a flight to another city the early afternoon of the following day. I looked for an information booth and found one that was open. I went up to the young man and asked for information on a nearby hotel and transport. He thumbed through a booklet that had pictures and info on hotels which I looked at with him and I selected one. He then told me I had to pay him there and then for the hotel and transport (I must have looked like a fool to him). I said ok and asked to see the hotel information again which I wrote down. I then asked him where I'd have to go to get the taxi after I pay him and he directed me. I then thanked him and walked off in that direction I kept hearing "Sir...sir... sir" after I walked off. My take from my experience in India is that Indians will try anything to make money or spend as little as possible for something.

Indian women are very conservative and generally want to wait until they are married before having sex. There is generally no bar or club scene in India where men can pick up women hence the rape culture. As Indian men become more financially independent they will become more and more able to foot the cost of air travel to Thailand and their numbers will eventually grow to exceed those of other tourists.
