It seems like you could go back to ST with the ladies any time you want. First, you are in control of who comes and when. More importantly, if ladies are starting to "peel off" and take themselves out of the rotation, then couldn't you use that situation to reduce the number of girls coming over? You could just not replace the ones leaving.

Your reply is close to being perfectly spot on.

Two points I will add to it.

1. A Thai girl is always welcome back home if she's been a "good" Thai girl in the Isaan / Lao sense.

That doesn't mean western connotations like sex, drugs, bad behavior etc.

It means that she has "always" sent money home.

She has always looked after the family needs foremost, giving to mama / grandma what they ask for.

Isaan / Lao family units are matriarchal.

2. Not all girls squander their money, but yes, the family can be leeches on them.

Especially if they are not the favored daughter, the first born daughter, who are destined to be matriarchs one day.

The Isaan family unit is cousins, uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters, everything under the ruling matriarch.

And the matriarch can easily be a great grandma in her 70-80's when a WG starts on the game in her (late) teens.

So that means a big family, sharing the earnt income sent home.

On the flip side, when these girls, or women if it's been years, go home they aren't shunned, they are welcomed.

As whatever is in the bank is available to send to family when asked, yet gold is for their rainy day, or dreams.

A good Thai girl, looks after mama / papa, grandma / grandpa (m / p, gm / gp).

A good Thai girl, gives m / p, gm / gp whatever money they ask for.

A good Thai girl, goes and gets a job (any job) that lets them earn the money that m / p, gm / gp ask for.

A good Thai girl, finds an income stream, or multiple, read that as Farang sponsor (s) (ATM) that gives them that money.

A good Thai girl, can have true love with a Farang if she does the above, or move easily with a Thai man if she goes home.

And beware, if the Isaan Thai girl you meet and fall for is the favored first daughter, then she has added responsibilities.

She must give up her lied and go home when her duty calls.

She is the daughter tasked with the family caring burden of grandparents, parents, children of the family.

So when the first born above her can no longer do so, it is her return home and take on the role.

Now a last point.

Don't think that all the Isaan Thai girls were shipped off to do sex work.

Far from it.

Long before Patpong, Pattaya and the Thai sex tourism existed Isaan girls went away to work.

Farms, factories, businesses, construction, shops, hotels, anywhere labor intensive unskilled work was required.

As we get older, we have to let things go. South East Asia, sadly, seems to be one of those things as tourism there will have to wait for Gay Paree and other places to pick up first.

That being said, 100,000's of Thai's that used to work in Pattaya have had to go back to their villages because of the virus. When this all first started, I sh it you not, the food lines for free food on Beach Road would almost stretch from one end to another with 1,000's of people waiting in line.

Now, because so many people have left, most of the food lines I see have less than 50 people, which of course is 50 to many. If you don't know why all of this is all happening to Thailand, it is for reasons that cannot be discussed by somebody who lives in Thailand, look it up and try to figure it out. While in my opinion the video makes it look a lot worse than it actually is, it is still very bad. My buddy and I were talking yesterday and he made an astute observation which is why the girls always send money home, it is their self made insurance policy against a calamity like what is presently taking place. In other words, by sending money home they always have some place to go and live.

With the demise of Charlie Watts, I've been watching a lot of (great) Stones' interviews. The great Mick Jagger gave an interview to Australia's 60 Minutes and said how his Ossie relatives in The Lucky Country used to send them cans of peaches in the 1950's. That was a big deal as the Poms were still on rationing then.

My point is Pattaya, Angeles etc are revenue generating places. You go there, you open your legs and voila, you have money you have no hope of getting in your Isaan village. I have been to those villages with chicks from Soi 6, who looked and behaved conservatively, in line with the ethos of the village, where the only career move is to become a hooker. They showed me the local jobs: earning less than 10 cents a day and catching frogs or rice rats at night.

Not quite Kensington Ave in Philly but shtt heaps nonetheless. Sure you can stay there but all you can do is pick rice, watch snakes crawl by, bang them over the head and eat them.

Every Thai lady that I know who has ever mentioned a "Tomboy" has always just called them a "Tom". In casual conversation oh she has a "Tom" or she is a "Tom". Only if I asked what do you mean by "Tom" they would further explain that she is a "Tomboy" and what that means to them. Strangely enough being a "Tom" is not always considered gay or about sex itself but about sexuality although yes some are gay or bi. A "Tom" feels more comfortable in the role as a male but some ladies have a "Tom" friend or live together with a "Tom" but they don't have sex together.
