By the time I got into town it was fairly late. I wanted to head to WS to take it all in. I figured I wanted a nude bar so I went to WindMill. It was as described. It's not my favorite venue as I hate the loud music but pop in ear plugs to mitigate the noise. But it is a more intimate setting than IBAR and the girls appear friendlier, at least with me. IBAR, as others have noted, draws a wide spectrum of girls including, apparently, non-pros, who by their very nature are less inclined to go with any punter in the vicinity. To each his own.

On a similar subject, I took a stroll on Beach Road last evening around sunset and saw clusters of girls in different areas but sadly no real lookers. Fairly sad bunch imo. I think one has to have exquisite timing to fInd something decent on BR. Either that or beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

Your right as I thought about that after my first night there. Its prob because at certain venues in Bangkok all you get is eye contact. In fact, if you exchange glances, they try to get on you whether you like it or not. So, I am getting lazy. I thought that I need to be a bit more aggressive at the Ibar especially, but the great thing about Thailand is you can still get what you want, as happened to me last night, without barely lifting a finger (or eyebrow).

However, that being said, some of the hotter ladies in Ibar are quite discriminating themselves and might blow you off because they don't like the cut of your gib, your age, or they just feel like being difficult. Frankly, it seems like a tough crowd in there when it comes to the real hotties. I saw guys younger than me getting blown off there though it did not happen to me.

You reminded me of my experience in IBar. Let me put it in detail.

It was my first night in Pattaya in fact it was my first in Thailand. I entered IBar with the hope of getting a nice girl for a first timer like me. I was ready to pay 4 k for a real stunner. I entered around 10:30 and till 11:00 o'clock nothing happened. And I definitely can say that there are some no-pro girls go there for partying.

Around 11:15 I moved towards beach side of bar. Few girls gave me nice approachable glances but I was not interested. So yes if I consider my experience and your age, then you might get less eye contact than younger crowd when it comes to stunner. Yes, it happens and for various reasons, beside what you said it can be that the ladies know about a guy's attitude, that is if he's into paying or not, or of the "wrong" nationality.

It must be said that Ibar is not a easy field for evergreen players. Ladies there feels they have the upper hand being in "best" bar (go figure), and are picky or just act strange. Which is an Asian way to say no.
