Pattaya soapies are not good? Maybe not good for you but please don't generalize. I for one like the soapies in Pattaya, and I go at least once on every visit (20+ visits so far).

And that is absolutely fine. Different strokes for different folks. But I'm replying to a guy who also says soapies suck.

I think its a free world and I can choose what I include or omit. Deal with it.

I think you have trouble understanding the concept of YMMV. I can tell you that I have had good experiences at soapies in Pattaya. You might have not had the same good experience. That is exactly what YMMV means. Get it?

I am actually glad you mentioned this. There is probably no better path to a successful fuck than a soapy. You might be God's gift to Thais and never been refused by a girl, but there are plenty of reports of guys being turned down by girls at Soi 6, Beer Bars, Gogo Bars, etc. Never heard that happen in a soapy.

Anyways, I am done here. I hope the guy who asked the question in the first place reports back on what he did finally.

I find it amusing when guys bash a place like gogo bars or other more expensive venues the true underlying factor comes down to money.

At least that is my case. Pussy is just not worth that much to me. I would never spend $100 for a hooker. There is a place in Brazil called 4x4 that I used to go to all the time. Back then I could get 2 chicks for $75 for 40 min. These days it will run you $100 for 1 chick.

For me that is a no when there are so many cheaper hookers and non-pros around that are just as good. Besides, I have fucked plenty of gogo chicks before on their days off or after they have gotten off work for way less, so there is no mystique or anything that is telling me I am missing out on something if I do not get a gogo chick. It is just another piece or pussy.

Girls are not allowed to turn down any customer in a soapie. IIRC they must pay back the soapie for the soapies share of loss revenue if they do.

It's silly to suggest something that sucks based on a possible good experience that may or may not happen while hiding behind the guise of YMMV.

He could go to a soapy, find a stunner who pushes all his buttons and that could make him 10 x happier than any Soi 6 girl. Sure, if price is a key factor in decision making, you are better off with BR, Soi 6 and Soi Pothole.

It is a place that foreigners frequent. Tourist police act as a liason between the tourists and the real police who may not speak English or other foreign languages as well.

Agree with most points, except the fact that almost anything in the world will be better than the FLs on Beach Road.

That said, while as a general rule the soapies in PYX suck, its always YMMV. Rasputin is known to have a very decent collection. The soapies on 2nd road near Big see (Sabai House, Sabai Dee, etc) can be a hit and miss. Honey is a popular hangout with tourists.

So I would not knock them completely, specially for a first time visitor. Look at this from the lens of a first timer. Well, the guy asking questions says he was in PYX 8 years ago. That makes him pretty much a first timer. Would you not want to experience at least one soapy in PYX, especially when you don't know if you will even be back or head to BKK in the future?

Not when there are other options that are better value in terms of money and experience. Most likely, he'd have far more fun in his limited time on Soi 6 where he can find someone who can really take care of him. Soi Chaiyapoon is another option with plenty there. Heck, if he's willing to risk using his phone, he can seek out Valentina and Noi. A+, great BJ, it's all there. Eye candy, not so much, but he won't really find that at a soapy either. Looking at this from the lens of someone who is with family, on limited time, and trying to maximize fun; not as someone who has unlimited time to try out various things.

Why spend a a thousand dollars (or more) to go to Pattaya and not have a soapie?? This an unique experience that very few men in the world can enjoy. Enjoy every moment of your life and do not be a cheap prick!

I think dudes stay away due to the shitty exchange rate for all the currencies and not come in Pattaya at all, last week soi 6 was very quiet also.

Anybody there next week? I'm flying in in a few days and am looking for a drinking buddy to hit a few gogo's / soi 6&7&8.

I was there last March and April for 6 weeks, have a regular girl on soi 6 who I might be taking to koh samet for a few days But otherwise up for Some drinks and pool. Slightly crazy please, Just don't feed me tequila until 0600 in the morning.
