Yes, if you want a general holiday, Pattaya is not so great.

Yes, the naughty boy scene is front and center in Pattaya. No question about it. But unlike Bangkok, it's also a seaside town that caters to people on holiday where you can have a nice time without drinking or chasing girls. You won't be soaking up highbrow culture or spending big money on world class shopping or dining. But you can always find a calm spot to sit with a cold drink and watch the world go by. You can always find a decent meal for a reasonable price. If your ideal holiday includes more active pursuits, Pattaya allows a totally pedestrian lifestyle (providing you're not lodging way the heck out on the Dark Side). There are gyms and golf outings galore. Wi-fi is ubiquitous and reliable, so if you're a member in good standing of the Laptop Class you can take care of business 24/7. And it's easy to strike up conversations with other people who are on holiday because they are usually in a sanook mood.

Don't get me wrong. I enjoy the hustle and bustle of Bangkok and always make time in my holiday to hang out there. But the majority of my visit you'll find me ambling around Pattaya in my shorts, taking my holiday as it comes. Maybe today I'll stop by Witherspoon's to have a Penang curry and watch the badminton. Or I'll get up early and take a long walk near the sea. Or I'll wander around Tukcom for an hour until I find that electronic gadget I didn't know I couldn't live without. And while I'm in that part of town, I might as well drop by the tailor and have some shirts made.

You get the idea. There is more to Pattaya than the naughty boy scene. You just have to make a little effort to appreciate it.

Wouldn't that be because the light-skin ones are more popular and therefore have a higher turnover of customers? Many customers = repeated betadine douches, vagina flora fucked up.

Maybe that is the draw. It could be one of those delicacy deals like eating fish eggs or pig bowels. The story of the lady cooking a whole chicken in the pan that was too small comes to mind. It should really be called "colorism" rather than "racism" I agree and really more about personal choice. I do not like dark meat. Sorry I just don't. The coffee and cream is my color of preference and a nice bottom. Going the other way don't like white either. Too many imperfection's, freckles blemishes whatever. My taste changed when I started traveling to Asia as white before was all I knew. Asian girls just have beautiful skin as most try and stay out of the sun. My girls skin in Vietnam is just perfection and I've examined her closely, someone has to do it. She has one freckle at the bottom of a boob, that's it. Again perfection at least to me. Caucasian girls do not have skin like that. There may be a rare one but generally no. Again its personal preference of what you like to look at. Racism has nothing to do with it.

Bear in mind, in Thailand if the skin color is closer to a cup of cream with a dash of coffee in it, much less the other way around, the girl is likely to consider herself "black" and therefore undesirable by Thai / Asian standards. LOL.

I agree there are potential problems with either extreme. Some, like the ones you mentioned regarding very white skin girls, are not addressed very often it at all.

As of now (21 December) If you have Thailand pass already then you can enter Kingdom of Thailand.

If you do not have the thai pass then the registration is closing in a few hours at 22 December at 0:00 hours and will open after 4th Jan if the meeting on 4th Jan decides to open Thai pass again.

No tension if you have the thai pass already guys.

Except if you need to change your dates / flight at the last minute. You probably cannot resubmit and get a quick new TP like you could before. You have to pray the airline or something else doesn't cock up.

And this is the Latest, A revised Test and Go countries list. "the CCSA's operation centre will identify "high-risk" countries before holding a meeting on Friday to decide on the extent to which the "Test & Go" scheme may need to be revised. ":
