Hi guys,

I am in the planning phase of my trip to Thailand in the beginning of February in 2016.

I am planning for a nine day trip to Pattaya (4 Days), Phuket (2 Days) and then to end it with Bangkok (3 Days).

I had a couple of questions regarding how things work over in Thailand.

1) A friend told me that if we are taking a Tuk Tuk or a Taxi to a club or a massage place, then we don't have to pay the driver as the establishment pays them a commission to bring customers. Is this true? If so how does it work?

2) From RTFF I gather that the bar fine for a girl is fixed and her rate is subject to bargaining. Is my understanding correct?

3) When I go to a massage place like Honey or Rasputin are we allowed to talk with the girl before we select her and go to the room to do the deed? Or is it just a selection based on looks and we get whatever service the girl wants to provide?

4) What are the Clubs\Go Go's which are a "must visit"?

5) When we book a double bedroom in a hotel is it understood by the hotel that we will bring a "guest" with us for the night? Or do they create issues and ask for a joiner fee?

I understand how valuable mongering time is, so any help on the above mentioned points or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

1. Having a taxi take you to a massage or club is probably going to be an expensive mistake. The driver isn't going to take you to the best place, he'll take you to the place that pays him the most. The establishment will then jack their prices above and beyond. If the place has nothing worth your interest, you're stuck paying for a wasted trip.

Instead, choose a hotel that's convenient. In Pattaya, if you are close to 2nd road or Beach Rd, you can catch a baht bus to go to the most promising areas, in Bangkok, close to a BTS station makes getting around easy.

4. The forum has all the answers. Or a Google search for Bangkok gogo will give a good list.

5. The Bangkok Hotels thread and Pattaya Hotels thread will help you choose a girl friendly hotel, Google search for some other good resources. Many hotels will check and hold the girl's ID, some only allow 1 girl at a time or 1 per day, without charging extra. It's best to confirm with the individual hotels on their exact policy.

I wouldn't recommend setting your schedule in stone. You may want to spend more or less time in each place. Book your first hotel for one night and decide from there.

Try the Skyscanner App. Seems to routinely find flights for about 20% less than Kayak. The Kayak App has one great feature, Explore. Pick your home airport and it pops up a world map, with cheapest prices to each city. Useful if your choosing between a few destinations.

I yield to superior research. I checked them against each other and skyscanner seems to do a better job. I never tried the explore function in kayak, though.

From the airline's website? That is usually quite expensive.

Pussylicker2, just google "cheap flights" (in your own language, if your language is not English) or something like that to find cheap, local on line ticket sellers.

Maybe, but he didn't say he wanted a cheap flight. He even asked for a travel agent!

I wouldn't sweat your girl Nat too much on the infidelity. She needs to make a living while you are away. And I would not sweat the lying too much, either. Thais are obsessed with saving face (your's and hers) and that, rather than any serious ill intentions, is often at the root of their dishonesty.

She seems to give you a pretty side berth while you are in Thailand. This is rare as Thai girls tend to be very jealous and possessive. Especially my current regular. I would have gotten the 5th degree about the whole "Singapore business" trip LOL.

Sounds like you have a good thing going. Why mess it up?

Thanks and I agree with you! I will be in BKK in 3 days and Nat is "cumming" to see me of course. She will have the night and I will have the days. Maybe a soapie, BJ bar. Etc. She and I will be talking about the whole "you see people and I will too". She does like girls too but is embarrassed to bring a girl back with us. I am going to try to change that this trip!

Has anyone ever spent Christmas in Pattaya or new years? I am thinking about booking my first Christmas time trip. But, heard it is very busy at that time. I worry, I will not be able to get a room. I was also researching online and read girls charge an extra 500 baut for short time? I don't know if that is true. Is the whole month of January hard to get a cheap room as well? I been to Thailand many times just never on a major holiday. If Thailand is too busy at that time I was thinking Vietnam but worry the girls all go back home for a week from the hot tocs. That defeats the whole purpose of my trip.

I have the same idea I was thinking Medellin first because it's closer but I guess the girl go to there families around New Years so I'm thinking of going here instead a couple days after Christmas.

My previous trip to Pattaya was in early 2012. I don't remember seeing any Go Go bars on Soi 6 at that time. Maybe I passed it by. By the way, the other Go Go Bar is Dolls, 3 doors down from Passions.

There are two small bars between Passions and Dolls. One had a bunch of good looking girls outside in front. I took one of them home for the night.

I just realized why I didn't see the Go Go Bars on my past trips to Soi 6. In previous trips, I went to Soi 6 on afternoons only, because I thought Soi 6 was a daytime place only. The Go Go bars open at night, which is probably why I didn't see them on past trips to Pattaya's Soi 6.

Passion club has not just opened, its been open for years. And yes you can barfine them for takeout for 500.

I just had a few hours off and wanted to fuck Nim in Club4 that serviced me particulary well when I saw her 8 weeks ago. She's from Petchabun, 22, no kids, and I like to repeat.

Got a motorbike out there just as the rain started pouring down. Club4 was closed, so was 007 and Pirates! And I was caught in this deserted place for more than half an hour while the rain kept pissing down.
Finally it cleared up a bit and another motorbike passed by, caught mercy on me and took me to the telephone box, never been there before, name just popped up when he asked where to. Rang the box, and the French owner came out and told me that it was closed, no girls, King's birthday! Got a new motorbike, went to Le Private, closed too didn't bother to check the post office as I was now soaking wet.

Back at my hotel, GF comes back tonight, I'm ready!
