    Kias vs Feraris.

One guy here pretends his Kia is a Feraris. He's also all text and no photos. Wonder why? Maybe he doesn't want anyone to see him in his beaten up Kia.

Half the guys here (veterans) know this, the other half are in awe of his crafty illusions.

It would be great if the illusions were real but there not. You get what you pay for is the constant.

If any chick on this planet says that I have ever given her that kind of money then she is a mf liar. In Pattaya I give chicks 1000 or 1200 for long time. Only twice in the last 10 years have I given a chick 1500. Now of you meet a chick on one of those apps and she comes over right then she will want 1000 for ST. I have done that. But if you know a chick better or you met her out at one of the discos or out in the street somewhere then she will stay 1000 LT.

I made the report last month about the chick I met on WeChat and Tinder that came to stay for 1000. She wanted to come again a couple nights later but I told her I did not have money. She said that is no problem and asked how much I could give her. I didn't really want her to come so I told her 500. She said okay come get me at 9 pm.

You're saying Mr E is paying 6000 baht for a girl? You clearly have done no reading of the pattaya forum. I know I never have paid 6000 baht and never will.

Like Mr E said, you need to rethink your game. The best young Thai girls don't go with anyone. They have lots of choices so you need to stand out over the other guys.

I know a guy like this who has lived here over 10 years yet knows less than 10%of what I know. Same bars same routine over and over again. I'm all over the map willing to try anything new.

1/ Nearly zero girls for me. Bar girls are 45 years old and pattaya now is entirely dominates by LB's. WeChat is 100% LB. I would say if you are 30 then yes some nice non pro here. Even a decent massage become a scam and a pain.

2/ Zero level of English you always need to use up to two words. And Pataya is the best city in Thailand as far as English goes.
Looks like you have the wrong game going for someone that lives there. Why are you worrying about bar girls? You just walk around anywhere you go and meet chicks. Tukcom, Royal Garden, Central Festival, the streets. One or two times a week we will sit in the market and talk to chicks that are coming and going and get their numbers or Line. No need to pay a girl and a bar when you could just pay the girl (and meet plenty of free ones in the process).

WeChat sucks really bad. Like you said, it is infested with LB. ThaiFriendly is way better, but of course the cost option is better than the free option.

I don't know what Pattaya you are in if you think the English level is zero. I know plenty of Pattaya chicks that speak English better than me. And when a popular song comes on I have to ask them who the American artist is. They fucking know! Thai chicks are for the most part smart. When you get over to Philippines with those dumb ass people it will really frustrate you. I do not know why people think English is so prevalent there when it really isn't. Maybe if you are talking to hotel staff or more educated people yes, but when you are at a bar scence with uneducated country bumpkins good fucking luck.

And thinking is not the strong point of a Filipino. They are good with giving them directions and setting them to a task. No way can they deviate from that. Try going into McDonalds and ordering a whatever with no tomatoes. It confuses the shit out of them because they are taught it is made a certain way and that is the way you stick with. It is easier for them to tell you that it can't be done or does not come that way.

One story I like to tell is when me and my girl were at a resort in Cebu. We were in the pool and a lady comes around to get orders for dinner. I looked at the menu and saw grilled ham and cheese. I didn't have a taste for ham so I told the girl that I would just have grilled cheese. You do not know how serious this chick was when she replied that they don't have grilled cheese, only grilled ham and cheese. There was no way that I could convince her that if they just didn't put the fucking ham on the bread, then it would be a grilled cheese. After going back and forth with this, it was just easier to order something else. So prepare yourself, because it won't be pretty!

P.S. What is up with going to other countries expecting people to speak English anyway? If anything you are the foreigner with big bucks. You have afford to go to language school for a few weeks. Those chicks are forced to learn English through music, movies, and a dictionary. I know a Thai chick that went to see a guy in Brazil. Fucking around with him she got stuck there for a time so she bought a dictionary and taught herself Portuguese in order to make a way.

I have a degree in French. The first time I went to Brazil and saw all those fine ass women I was like if I could speak some Portuguese... I went and learned Portuguese. The first time I went to Colombia and Dominican Republic and saw those fine ass women I was like if I could speak some Spanish... I went and learned Spanish. The first time I went to Thailand, the first chick I got with out of Angel Disco in Nana Hotel was teaching me Thai and I didn't even ask her. I am so thankful that she started me off though. You have been there 10 months. If you wrote just 3 new words per day on index cards during that time, think how much Thai you would be speaking now. And I assure you that you would be having a way better time. It does not even take much. Just start a conversation off with some Thai and they assume you speak Thai. They will say oh you speak Thai then they will start speaking in English the rest of the time. A few ice-breaking words go a long way.

It really depends on one's age I assume if a person travels a lot and are looking for a place to settle down they most likely are in the retirement age. Personally, if you are just vacationing I understand guys the main objective is to get them young but if you are here long term I believe as time goes by one's criteria will be a bit higher in their age. Today, I preferred them if they are in their early twenties their attitude must be more mature but rarely even a stunner I will BF and haven't done so in near 5 years. Not really self-conscious short time okay If the room is close have no desire to walking or going anywhere with a young girl who hasn't mature mentality. I was warned years ago by a famous poster here " more you are entrenched into the Thai culture the more you will hate it here ". So today my taste has revolved the youngest I've taken lately is early 30's, not a stunner but average looks with a good personality and a body they take care plus a good pair of legs is a plus.

You would think with the Government leaders boosting all the English learning be. S. The last ten year and being in the Asean community the people coming out of the schools would be able to speak better English but go to the nearest 7/11 and speak some English to them. It is in the range of zero and it should be better but you look at their age it is if many just graduated from High School. It is even worse outside of Bangkok and Pattaya which many Expat considers not to even be part of Thailand. So based on my opinion, the production line of girls from Isaan will continue nothing to worry about except the price will go up because they have a school of their own to know exactly what to say and ask for from us foreigners.

Personally, if you are isolated from their culture and society it is one's own doing. But remember if you are too deep it will drive you crazy how they think is backward and that is being kind. I don't live in a vacuum I live pretty much 100% of the time with Thai, if you didn't know me you would think I was Thai, even the Thais say I look and act like a Thai. One can't live in a vacuum but too much Thai will make you go over the edge so one has to really meet a balance? You can do the same stuff every day whether you are here or at home in the West it gets boring? My saying " the grass is never greener " it is tough work to keep it green so if you are bored one needs to expand their horizon and get out and do something new, exercise play some softball maybe, go fishing, night after night, bar, gogo, yes it gets boring? You live here it goes in cycles it isn't all about pulling your dick out.

I stay off sites like WeChat etc.. it's taken me years to get rid of the constant calling at all hours and the threats from the Thai boyfriend who seems to be threatened by an old Asian guy if they are farangs for reasons it's O.K? Today I sleep soundly and much happier narrowing who I want around me.

    Enjoy!

Interesting observations especially since many of us are considering living there. But your experience seems to differ from guys like Mr. E and Banana Boi. I don't know how old they are but they seem to like it there.

For now I am spending 6 weeks each year in Thailand. I may expand my visit to two months next year. Seems like the best of both worlds for me.

I'm a late 60's overweight guy and I occasionally get very hot looking girls. Not like when I was younger but it happens. I have upped by game a bit as MonkeyPaw would say and I don't give a shit if I get rejected any more. That is key now. Move on to the next one. I will be here for another 2 weeks and love it. Good luck and thank for your opinions.

Wow. You're living in a totally different city than I am. I don't know a single girl over 45 and I know 1000's of girls under 27. Good luck in the Philippines.

There is a very high turnover in bars, gogos, massage parlors and others. Girls change their workplace, city or country and there are many reasons for that. In 3-4 months we can not recognize either the atmosphere or the girls. Quality levels can fluctuate from one extreme to another.

That's why you have to move, always change. Personally I went in a lot of countries and Pattaya remains a unique destination in the world. That said, I, too, have from time to time some disappointments, some empty passages and I sometimes pester against Pattaya.

And I'm not a follower of nightclubs they have always fed me even young, in general I do not like music like fun radio is an absolute cheesy (I will not make me friends only this time there) it is too strong and it's complicated to understand, I arrive in shorts / flip flops so not at all in the mood and I do not want to make efforts, it ends too late at 1 o'clock in the morning I sleep, it's expensive, I find the girls rather nondescript and the ones I like look at me with contempt from top to bottom (and I give them back), etc etc.

In these cases I turn, I go to Phuket, Bangkok, Hong Kong or the Philippines who have excellent spots too. The examples of Marrakesh and Havana also come to mind, playing cat and mouse with the local cops it's funny 5 minutes but it ends up taking me the cabbage anyway. So after a little tour to change my ideas I like to come back to Pattaya.

There are always pretty cannons in their twenties. As for tariffs, I come to Thailand for about 10 years I find that apart from some gogos of WS that have actually exorbitant prices, they have not increased that much and even that it can fluctuate depending on the head of the customer. Sure if you take a shot of 10 or 20 years old the rates are higher now LOL.

Some info may be a little down to earth but it is for the curious, for comparison and for those who need to provide a budget holiday LOL.

My last stay in Pattaya and Bangkok was from June 5th to June 13th. I spent 6 days in Pattaya and 3 days in Bangkok. The last 3 days in Bangkok I was with a VLT but I still made some visits to Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy and the last day in Sukhumvit 22 massage parlors.

In total I spent 1400 for girls and 150 for drinks during visits to the gogos. I averaged 3 girls a day. Or averaged also 51 per meeting (about 2000 B). On it I am a little cushioned on the end with my VLT but not much because she ate like 4 and he had to pay a swimsuit for the pool she had forgotten his, his transport, visits etc. .

I did not take any girls on the beach road or in a gogo of WS I only paid lady drinks on the spot. I only went to massage parlors and pipe bar. My favorite gogos were Palace, Windmill, Sapphyr, Farenheit and What's up. The girls were between 20 and 30 years old never again.
